Abstract
A blower fan with two heads has an upper shell, a lower shell, a plate, and a motor. Two air passages are formed between the upper shell and the lower shell due to the plate being mounted between them so that the present invention is compact and the manufacture cost is effective.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a blower fan with two heads, and more particularly to such a blower fan which is compact.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- With reference to
FIGS. 6-7 , a conventional blower fan with two heads has an upper shell (70), a middle shell (80), and a lower shell (90), wherein the middle shell (80) is formed between the upper shell (70) and the lower shell (90). The upper shell (70) has a first ceiling (71) on a top thereof, and multiple first air inlets (72) extending in a radiant direction are defined in the first ceiling (71). A first wall (not numbered) is integrally formed downwards and around the upper shell (70), and a lug (711) is formed on a periphery of and parallel to the first ceiling (71). Multiple first air outlets (73), each parallel to each other, are uprightly defined under the lug (711). A second ceiling (83) is provided between the upper shell (70) and the middle shell (80) and a motor (81) which has an axle (82) extending out thereof, is received in the middle shell (80). The lower shell (90) has a floor formed under thereof, and multiple second air inlets (92) are respectively defined in the floor in a radiant direction. A circular rim (95) is upright formed around the second air inlets (92) and a second wall (not numbered) is upwards formed around a periphery of the lower shell (90). A second lug (911) is integrally formed on and parallel to the lower shell (90) and multiple second air outlets (94) are respectively defined under the second lug (911). A third ceiling (93) is mounted on a top side of the lower shell (90) so that two ends of the axle (82) can be respectively inserted into the upper and lower shells (70, 90) and two impellers (84, 85), which are respectively mounted on the two ends of the axle (82), can be received into the upper and lower shells (70, 90). Hence, the impellers (84, 85), which are driven by the motor (81), rotate to draw air into the upper and lower shells (70, 90) through the first air inlets (72) and the second air inlets (92) and to expel the air out of the first air outlets (73) and the second air outlets (94). - However, the conventional blower fan with two heads occupies too much space due to the two impellers (84, 85). Furthermore, the second ceiling (83) and the third ceiling (93) are provided to seal the lower and upper shells (90, 70) thereby increasing the manufacture cost and the production time.
- Therefore, the invention provides a blower fan with two heads to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
- The main objective of the present invention is to provide a blower fan with two heads that is compact and economic in manufacture cost.
- Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

A first lug (111) is integrally formed on an edge of and parallel to the ceiling (111) and multiple air outlets (15), parallel to each other, are respectively vertically under the first lug (111). - The lower shell (60) has a flat (61) formed in a center thereof, an upward rim (62) formed on a periphery of the flat (61), and a downward wall (65) formed in an interior of the flat (61). A second lug (611) is integrally formed on an edge of and parallel to the flat (61), and multiple air ports (64), parallel to each other, are vertically defined under the second lug (611). A base (66), perpendicular to the wall (65), is provided under the wall (65) to form a chamber (68), and multiple air entries (67) are respectively defined in a center of the base (66) in a radiant direction.
- The plate (30), which is securely provided between the upper and lower shells (10, 60), seals them to form two air passages. A bearing seat (31), in which a bearing (34) is provided, is mounted in a center of the plate (30).
- The motor (50), which is received between the upper and lower shells (10, 60), has an axle (51) in a center thereof. An impeller (20) is mounted on a top end of the axle (51) through a central hole (21) thereof, wherein the bearing (34) is inserted into the hole (21), so that the impeller (20) can be received into the upper shell (10).
