Description

    BACKGROUD OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of Invention
  • The present invention relates to generally to a structure of storing compact discs (CD). More particularly, the present invention relates to a structure of a CD storage that can allow the CDs to be retrieved easily from the structure of the CD storage.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Present-day society increasingly has to rely on computers, computer systems, computer software applications and the computer devices as computers become more essential in everyday life. With the increasing demands of computer applications in various areas, the utility and usefulness of computers increase, and the CD has replaced the traditional discs. Although, the most utilized CD-ROM has a high capacity of 850 MB, but most computer users are still required to use several CDs as a media for storing the information, such as the CD image, CD games. Those computer software applications are normally sold in a set of CDs. Therefore the computer user require to have a convenient storing CD box to collect and store each and every CD in according to their stored information.
  • Those storing CD boxes, currently sold on the market, are known as cylinder-shaped CD boxes. The cylinder-shaped CD box comprises a base and a cylinder-shaped body, a central bar is formed on a central point of a surface area of the base. The central bar has a plurality of holes that a plurality of CDs can be located into the holes. Although, this type of design can prevent to take up a lot space for the package of CD, but the cylinder-shaped body is required to cover the base in order to prevent the dust. When the user wants to retrieve a particular CD from the cylinder-shaped CD box, such as a particular CD is located at the middle or the bottom of the series of CDs, any CD located above the particular CD will have to be removed first before the particular CD can be retrieved. In other words, each and every CD will have to rearrange if a particular CD that is positioned at the bottom of the CD box is required to be removed. The users will spend more time to reorganize the CDs arrangement each time when a CD is removed. Moreover, due to the design of the CD box, the CDs cannot be reviewed or seen easily once is placed within the cylinder-shaped CD box.
  • It is an object of the present invention to provide an improving design of a structure of CD storage in order to overcome the above-mentioned problems in the prior art.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • It is an object of the present invention to provide a structure of a CD storage that has a simple design but can achieve to store and retrieve CDs easily and conveniently. In order to achieve the objective of the present invention, the structure of the CD storage of the present invention comprises a first storing unit, a plurality of second storing units and a third storing unit. Wherein, the first storing unit, the second sorting units and the third storing unit are connected together to form a strip of units. Those units can be stacked up together into a closed position. By opening the strip of units in an open position, each location of each CD within every unit can be seen and retrieved easily.
  • These and other objects of the present invention will become readily apparent upon further review of the following specification and drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
  • The accompanying drawings are included to provide a further understanding of the present invention, and are incorporated in and constitute a part of this specification. The drawings illustrate embodiments of the invention and, together with the description, serve to explain the principles of the invention. In the drawings,
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a structure of CD storage in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is another perspective view of the structure of CD storage in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a structure of CD storage in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 is a view illustrating the structure of CD storage being stacked up.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, where both show the views of a structure of CD storage in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1, the structure of CD storage 1 comprises a first storing unit 11, a plurality of second storing units 12 and a third storing unit 13. Wherein the first storing unit 11, the second storing units 12 and the third unit 13 are connected sequentially to form a string of units. Further, the second units 12 can be stacked up with each other for storage. Once the string of units is opened up, each unit can locate a CD, and a label of the CD in each unit can be seen clearly and easily. Thus, a location of each CD is known and seen easily by a user so that a particular CD can be retrieved from the structure of storing CD 1 easily.
  • One end of the first storing unit 11 is connected to a front cover 14, which labels with the details of the CD information to allow the user to identify different types of the CD within the structure of CD storage 1. The structure of CD storage 1 also provides a protection to the CD stored within the first unit 11 from scratching and damages. One end of the third unit 13 is connected to bottom cover 15. Wherein the bottom cover 15 provides a protection to the CD stored in the third unit 13. The front cover 14 is made of hard material in which a hole 141 can be formed in the front cover 14. The whole structure of CD storage 1 can then be hanged to a wall utilizing the hole 141, the positions of first sorting unit 11, second storing units 12 and the third storing unit 13 are showed clearly that the user can see easily each location of each CD 2.
  • Refer to FIG. 3, showing a perspective view of a structure of storing CD in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention. The structure of CD of the present invention can be utilized within a storing box 3. This type of design of the present invention provides an object to allow the structure of CD storage to be carried easily. It is another object of the present invention to provide a protection to the CDs 2 within the structure. When a user utilizes the structure of CD storage 1 to storing CDs, one of the CDs can be retrieved easily from one of second storing units 12. Utilizing the design of the present invention, user can rummage through another second storing units 12 to find the second CD.
  • FIG. 4 shows a view illustrating the structure of storing CD being stacked up into a closed position. The structure of CD storage of the present invention can be folded up so that the first storing unit 11, second storing units 12 and the third storing unit 13 are stacked up together in a closed position. The user can still flip through the front cover 14, the first storing unit 11 and the second storing units 12 to retrieve a CD 2 from the structure of the CD storage. Therefore, the design of the structure of CD storage of the present invention, either in an open position or in a closed position, can allow the CDs 2 to be stored and retrieved out from the structure of CD storage easily.
  • From the above-mentioned embodiments, the structure of CD storage of the present invention achieves the disadvantages of prior art. Furthermore, the structure of CD storage of the present invention achieves the novelty and improvement requirements stated in the patent law for applying a patent.
  • With the invention has been described by the way of examples and in terms of preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the present invention need not be limited to the disclosed embodiments. On the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements included within the spirit and the scope of the appended claims. The scope of which should be accord with the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar structures.
