Description
- This patent application claims the priority benefit of a Chinese patent application No. 200520057639.X filed on Apr. 27, 2005.
- The present invention relates to the art of soles and methods of manufacturing the same, and especially to a sole glued with cloth and a method of manufacturing the same.
- Soles of shoes that people usually wear are commonly made of synthetic rubber material. Such soles are always so stiff that the impact between soles and the floorboard while walking at home may easily break the expensive floorboard. And the friction between the soles and the ground while walking on the street may also easily abrase the soles. The prior method to solve above problems is to glue cloth onto a front portion and a heelpiece of the sole so that the soft cloth which contacts the floorboard and the ground could not only avoid breaking the floorboard of a city family but also protect the sole from abrasion by the hard ground.
- At present, one method of gluing the cloth onto the sole is to put the cloth in a mold first, then perfuse the mold with raw material. The sole and the cloth connect together after cooling, and the cloth attach to the bottom of the sole. But the raw material may infiltrate into the cloth during the perfusion process so as to affect the pliability and the aesthetics of the cloth on the sole. Another method of gluing the cloth onto the sole is to glue the cloth from the outside. The first is to manufacture a sole and treat its bottom surface with solvent, and then daub glue on the sole twice after roasting. The sole should be roasted after each daubing process. Finally the cloth is glued onto the sole. Because the above working procedure are mostly operated by people, it has the following disadvantages: (1) The petroleum used as the solvent is easy to volatilize into the air during treatment and roasting process and it may injure people when inbreathed by people; (2) The inconvenient and repeating operations are waste of manpower, material resources and electric power; (3) It is difficult to glue the cloth onto the correct place so that it may easily result in brokenness or disuse of the cloth when it is glued onto a incorrect place and torn to glue again, so as to increase the production cost; (4) The daubing and gluing processes need 4 workers to complete. It is easy to pollute the sole and workers often need to do poorly done work over again.
- In order to overcome those disadvantages of the prior art, a main object of the present invention is to provide a novel sole glued with cloth to achieve a fast connection of the cloth and the sole, and to ensure that the cloth is glued onto a correct place and the cloth has a neat facies.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a sole to solve the problem that the raw material may easily infiltrate into the cloth during the perfusion and molding process. And the method of the present invention can achieve a close connection of the cloth and the bottom surface of the sole.
- In order to fulfill the above objects, the present invention provides a sole which comprises a sole main-part and cloth defined on the bottom surface of said sole main-part, a film being defined between said cloth and the bottom surface of said sole main-part.
- Said film is made of polyamine ester.
- Said sole main-part is made of polyamine ester.
- Said cloth and said film are connected by hot pressing after a daubing process.
- Said film and said sole main-part are connected by a perfusion and molding process.
- Compared with the sole of the prior art, because of the film additionally defined between the cloth and the sole main-part, the connection of the cloth and the sole is very fast, the cloth is absolutely in a correct place and the facies of the cloth is neat.
- The method of manufacturing the sole of the present invention comprises the following processes: (1) Daubing glue on the cloth and gluing the film onto it; (2) After leaving the cloth still for a period of time, cutting the cloth glued with the film to desired shapes and then putting the cloth into a mold of the sole, the surface which is glued with the film being upward and the other surface contacting a lower mold; (3) Perfusing the liquid raw material which is used to manufacture the sole into the mold for molding, the bottom surface of the sole close connecting to the film so that the cloth connects to the sole after molding.
- Said film is made of polyamine ester.
- Said sole is made of polyamine ester.
- In the process (1), the cloth is daubed with glue and glued with the film by a daubing glue device and then hot-pressed to connect with the film.
- In the process (2), the cloth is leaved still after being rolled up.
- In the process (2), the period of time for leaving still the cloth is no less than 24 hours.
- Compared with the prior art, because of the film additionally defined between the cloth and the sole main-part, the connection of the cloth and the sole is very fast, the cloth is absolutely in a correct place and the facies of the cloth is neat. The following are the advantages of the method of manufacturing the sole of the present invention: the daubing process operated by the daubing glue device decreases the injury to people; the perfusing process which is operated after putting the cloth in the mold could glue the cloth onto a correct place; and the consumption of manpower and material resources is lesser; the film glued to the cloth could obstruct the liquid raw material from infiltrating into the cloth and keep the cloth clean and neat.
- Reference is now made to the drawings to describe the present invention in detail.
