Abstract
A clothes hanger comprises a base and hanging fins. The base comprises buckle means mounted on upper lateral surfaces of the base and a hook mounted on a top surface of the base. The hanging fins are movably mounted on lower lateral surfaces of the base for detachably hooking the buckle means. A plurality of through holes are formed on the hanging fins at intervals so that the clothes hanger can be put to use in both folded and unfolded forms and the required space for hanging the clothes can be further saved by the folded hanging fins.
Description
- The present invention relates to an improved clothes hanger and more particularly to a clothes hanger or a similar structure having hanging fins, which are pivotally mounted on the lower lateral surfaces of a base, wherein the hanging fins are detachably held by buckle means, which are mounted on the upper lateral surfaces of the base, such that the hanging fins can be put to use in both folded and unfolded forms, and the required space for hanging the clothes can be saved by the hanging fins in the folded form. Accordingly, the clothes hanger of the present invention is suitable for dwelling houses and all kind of marketplaces.
- The conventional clothes hanger generally includes a bended part, which is bended into a hook and a triangular frame (not shown). An article of clothing is hung on the triangular frame and the hook is hung on a rod. However, this conventional type clothes hanger is only suitable for one article of clothing. When numerous clothes need to be hung, the considerable clothes hangers must be put to use. Accordingly, the conventional type clothes hanger does not fill the need of the user when it is put into actual use.
- It is a main object of the present invention to provide an improved clothes hanger having hanging fins pivotally mounted on the lower lateral surfaces of a base, wherein the hanging fins are detachably held by the buckle means, which are mounted on the upper lateral surfaces of the base, such that the hanging fins can be put to use in both folded and unfolded forms. Besides, it is convenient to operate the present invention so the practicability and convenience of the present invention are increased.
- It is another object of the present invention to provide an improved clothes hanger, wherein the hanging fins are detachably held by the buckle means mounted on the upper lateral surfaces of the base so that the folded hanging fins can further save the required space for hanging the clothes and increase the practicability of the clothes hanger.
- In order to achieve the aforementioned object, the present invention discloses an improved clothes hanger. The clothes hanger comprises a base and two hanging fins. The base comprises two buckle means mounted on the upper lateral surfaces of the base and a hook mounted on a top surface of the base. The hanging fins are movably mounted on the lower lateral surfaces of the base for detachably hooking the buckle means. A plurality of through holes are formed on the hanging fins at intervals so that the hanging fins can be put to use in both folded and unfolded forms and the required space for hanging the clothes can be saved by the folded hanging fins.
- The aforementioned aspects and advantages of the present invention will be readily clarified in the description of the preferred embodiments and the enclosed drawings of the present invention.
- The present invention intends to cover all alternatives and arrangements of these alternatives. Nevertheless, the preferred embodiments are specified in the specification and the structures of the preferred embodiments are illustrated in the following drawings.

FIG. 4 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing the unfolded hanging fins of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 is a schematic view showing the usage of the present invention. - The preferred embodiment of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 throughFIG. 4 , an improved structure of a clothes hanger of the present invention is shown. The clothes hanger comprises abase 10 and two hangingfins 20. Thebase 10 is composed of two coupledhousings base 10, and ahook 13 is mounted on a top surface of thebase 10. Two slidinggrooves 112 are formed on the upper portions of thehousings elastic means 15 are respectively mounted on the bottom surfaces of thesliding grooves 112. The buckle means 14 are leant against theelastic means 15 and movably mounted in thesliding grooves 112, respectively. Aprotrudent part 141 is mounted on the upper exterior portion of each buckle means 14. Besides, an outwardlybended hook part 142 is formed below each buckle means 14. Apillar 143 is formed on the bottom surface of each buckle means 14, and apillar 113 is formed on the bottom surface of eachsliding groove 112 so as to confine theelastic means 15 to the position between thepillar 143 and thepillar 113. Two oppositely extendingbended parts housings holes 115, 125 are correspondingly formed at intervals on the joint portions of thehousings hanging strips 16 throughpivots 161 that respectively mount on the terminals of the bendedhanging strips 16. Moreover, twopivot holes 116 and twopivot holes 122 are correspondingly formed on both sides of the bottoms of thehousings mounting grooves 111 are correspondingly formed over thesliding grooves 112 of thehousings protrudent part 131 that mounts on the bottom of thehook 13 for changing the orientation of thebase 10 by rotation. Besides, two throughholes housings ladder parts housings protrudent parts 118 are mounted on the inside of thehousing 11 in positions corresponding to a plurality ofholes 121 that form on the sidewall of thehousing 12 to steady the assembly. - The hanging
fins 20 are movably mounted on the lower lateral surfaces of thebase 10. A plurality of throughholes 22 are formed at intervals on the hangingfins 20, and the hangingfins 20 are detachably held by the buckle means 14 that mount on the upper lateral surfaces of thebase 10, wherein afirst hook 23 and asecond hook 24 are extended from one end of each hangingfin 20. Thefirst hooks 23 are designed for hooking thehook parts 142 of the buckle means 14 to be mounted between thehook parts 142 and the extendingbended parts transverse rods 21 are respectively mounted on both sides of the bottoms of the hangingfins 20 in the positions corresponding to thepivot holes hanging fins 20 are movably embedded in the space formed by the coupledladder parts housings - On the basis of the above-mentioned structure, the clothes hanger with the improved structure is constituted. Referring to
FIG. 1 throughFIG. 5 , the features of the present invention consist in the movable connection between the hangingfins 20 and the lower lateral surfaces of thebase 10, the throughholes 22 formed at intervals on the hangingfins 20, and the buckle means 14 movably locked on the upper lateral surfaces of thebase 10. Accordingly, thefirst hooks 23 are detached from thehook parts 142 by pushing down theprotrudent parts 141 mounted on the upper exteriors of the buckle means 14 to outwardly unfold the hangingfins 20 for holding other clothes hangers on which clothes are hung. When the hangingfins 20 are folded up, the clothes, which are hung horizontally at intervals, are also stacked up to further save the required space for hanging the clothes. - The
pivots 161 of the bendedhanging strips 16 are movably inserted in theholes 115, 125 that correspondingly formed at intervals on the joint portions of thehousings fins 20 are held by the buckle means 14 of thebase 10, thesecond hooks 24 mounted on one end of the hangingfins 20 can be applied to hold the heavy objects, for example, handbags, bags, etc., wherein the heavy objects are hung on the top portions of thefirst hooks 23 and prevented from falling down by means of the inwardly bendedsecond hooks 24 Accordingly, it is simple and quick to put the clothes hanger of the present invention to use. Besides, the present invention provides superior hanging effect and significantly decreases the occupied space so the practicability and convenience of the present invention are increased. - On the basis of the aforementioned description, it is apparent that the present invention can achieve the expected purposes. The present invention fills all requirements for a patent and is submitted for a patent.
- While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been set forth for the purpose of disclosure, modifications of the disclosed embodiment of the invention as well as other embodiments thereof may occur to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to cover all embodiments, which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention.
Claims (5)
1. A clothes hanger comprising:
a base comprising a plurality of buckle means mounted on a plurality of upper lateral surfaces of the base and a first hook mounted on a top surface of the base; and
a plurality of hanging fins movably mounted on a plurality of lower lateral surfaces of the base for detachably hooking the buckle means, the hanging fins having a plurality of through holes formed at intervals so that the hanging fins can be put to use in both fold and unfolded forms and the required space for hanging clothes can be saved by the folded hanging fins.
2. The clothes hanger of claim 1 , wherein the base is composed of two coupled housings having a plurality of sliding grooves respectively formed on a plurality of upper portions of the housings, a plurality of elastic means being respectively mounted on a plurality of bottom surfaces of the sliding grooves, the buckle means being leant against the elastic means and movably mounted in the sliding grooves, respectively, a protrusion part being mounted on an upper exterior portion of each buckle means, an outwardly bended hook part being formed below each buckle means, a plurality of oppositely extending bended parts being mounted on a plurality of exterior surfaces of the housings, the hanging fins comprising a second hook extended from one end of each hanging fin for hooking the hook parts of the buckle means to be mounted between the hook parts and the extending bended parts.
3. The clothes hanger of claim 2 , wherein a plurality of holes are correspondingly formed at intervals on a plurality of joint portions of the housings to pivotally hold a plurality of bended hanging strips having a pivot mounted on a terminal of each bended hanging strip.
4. The clothes hanger of claim 2 , wherein two pivot holes are correspondingly formed on both sides of the bottom of each housing, respectively, and a transverse rod is mounted on each side of the bottom of each hanging fin in a position corresponding to the pivot holes so as to movably mount the hanging fins.
5. The clothes hanger of claim 2 , wherein two mounting grooves are correspondingly formed over the sliding grooves of the housings, respectively, for pivotally holding a protrudent part that mounts on the bottom of the first hook to change the orientation of the base by rotation.
