Abstract

A garment hanger having a main body and an information tab, the main body is provided with a hook to allow the main body to hang garments with the hook, the bottom of the hook is formed a neck of a predetermined length. The information tab is in a shape of “U” and the information tab includes a first clamping portion and a second clamping portion, ends of the clamping portions extend inwards to the center of a transverse sectional area of the information tab to form a plurality of protrusions; the protrusions form thereamong a receiving area to receive the neck, thereby the “U” shaped information tab is provided with a guiding means at its opening for fast engaging with and clamping the hook. Each of three surfaces of the “U” shaped information tab is a relatively smooth two dimensional plane; this renders the process of production in printing the size marking for distinguishing on the surfaces easier and faster.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a garment hanger with a information tab thereon, and more particularly to an information tab that can be fast detachably clamped on a garment hanger for distinguishing the size of a garment on the garment hanger.
2. Description of the Prior Art
There are various types of garment hangers in the markets; and information tabs mounted on garment hangers for distinguishing the sizes of garments on the garment hangers have been used for years. Generally, the information tabs are easily and detachably fixed on the garment hangers particularly near hooks provided on the garment hangers to be used to fast distinguish the sizes of the garments on the garment hangers.
In the past, as is shown in FIG. 1 depicting a normally used information tab A10 for a garment hanger A20, the information tab A10 mainly is a hollow cylindrical stub A11 of which the outer surface A12 is printed with a size marking, the hollow cylindrical stub A11 has an opening A13, and a plurality of elastic protrusions A14 protrude from the inner surface of the hollow cylindrical stub A11 toward the center of the cylindrical stub A11; and a receiving area A15 is formed adjacent to the center to receive a hook A21 of the garment hanger A20. In this manner, the opening A13 of the information tab A10 is faced to the hook A21 of the garment hanger A20 to be engaged with the hook A21. Because the space of the receiving area A15 normally is sufficient to receive the hook A21, and the protrusions A14 are elastic, thereby when the hook A21 is engaged in, the information tab A10 still can slide up and down on the hook A21, a user can randomly rotate or move the information tab A10 for the convenience of distinguishing the size marking on the information tab A10.
Although the information tab A10 can allow the user to distinguish the size marking, the cylindrical outer surface A12 is disadvantageous to print the size marking thereon. This renders the speed of making information tab slower.
And more, the opening A13 of the information tab A10 is faced to the hook A21 of the garment hanger A20 to be engaged with the hook A21, however, the opening A13 does not have any specific guiding means for the convenience of engaging with the hook A21, hence when the user holds the information tab A10 to engage with the hook A21, the speed of engaging action can not be fast.
Therefore, it is the main objective of the present invention to provide an information tab able to be fast engaged with a hook of a garment hanger, and able to have the size marking for distinguishing fast printed on the information tab.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a garment hanger with an information tab thereon, the garment hanger has a hook for hanging the garment hanger, the information tab clamps the hook; the outer surface of the information tab is a relatively smooth surface in order to be convenient for printing during production.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a garment hanger with an information tab thereon, the information tab is provided with a guiding means at an opening for engaging with the hook in order that the information tab is easily engage with the hook.
To achieve the above stated objectives, the information tab of the present invention includes a first clamping portion and a second clamping portion, the front ends of the first and the second clamping portions define an opening end, and a connecting portion is provided on the rear ends of the first and the second clamping portions, so that the information tab is in the shape of “U”; wherein the front ends of the first and the second clamping portions extend inwards to the center of a transverse sectional area of the information tab to form a first and a second protrusion; the two rear ends of the first and the second clamping portions also extend inwards to the center of the transverse sectional area of the information tab to form a third and a fourth protrusion; the two middle portions of the first and the second clamping portions also extend respectively inwards to the center of the transverse sectional area of the information tab to form a fifth and a sixth protrusion, the first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth and the sixth protrusions form thereamong a receiving area for engaging the information tab on the garment hanger to thereby make the first and the second protrusions a guiding means to allow the information tab to be fast detachably engaged via the opening and clamped on the hook.
The present invention will be apparent after reading the detailed description of the preferred embodiment thereof in reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIG. 2 which is a schematic perspective view showing the appearance of a preferred embodiment of a garment hanger 10 with an information tab 40 of the present invention, wherein the garment hanger 10 mainly comprises a main body 20 on which there is a hook 30, the bottom of the hook 30 is formed a neck 31 of a predetermined length.
The main body 20 is in a shape such as an “I”, a triangle or any other shape for well supporting garments on the main body 20, and is made of plastic by injection forming, or can be made of some other solid and durable material.
The main body 20 is provided on its two ends with two clamps for the convenience of clamping garments. The hook 30 on the main body 20 can be engaged with the main body 20, or can be detachably connected (such as be screw-connected) with the main body 20; and the material of the hook 30 preferably mainly is metal or some other durable material.
The neck 31 of the hook 30 is provided to be clamped by the information tab 40, thereby, the length “H” of the neck 31 had better be coincident with the height “h” of the information tab 40, or the length “H” of the neck 31 can be slightly larger than the height “h” of the information tab 40, the length “H” of the neck 31 can be set as 1.5˜2.0 cm.
As shown in FIGS. 3, 4, the information tab 40 is made of plastic by injection forming, it includes a first clamping portion 41 and a second clamping portion 42, the front ends of the first and the second clamping portions 41, 42 define an opening end 43 of the information tab 40, and a connecting portion 44 is provided on the rear ends of the first and the second clamping portions 41, 42, so that the information tab 40 is in the shape of “U” apparently; wherein the front ends of the first and the second clamping portions 41, 42 extend inwards to the center of a transverse sectional area of the information tab 40 to form a first and a second protrusion 411, 412; thereby the information tab 40 has the opening end 43 as a guiding means, so that when a user desires to hold the information tab 40 to engage the hook 30, the action of this can be faster and more convenient.
Moreover, the rear ends of the first and the second clamping portions 41, 42, also extend inwards to the center of the transverse sectional area of the information tab 40 to form a third and a fourth protrusion 413, 414 respectively; the two middle portions of the first and the second clamping portions 41, 42 also extend respectively inwards to the center of the transverse sectional area of the information tab 40 to form a fifth and a sixth protrusion 416 and 417; the first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth and the sixth protrusions 411, 412 413, 414 416 and 417 form thereamong a receiving area 415 to receive the neck 31 of the hook 30.
Thereby, the information tab 40 can be fast detachably engaged via the opening 43 and clamped on the neck 31 of the hook 30. Because the information tab 40 is formed from the first clamping portion 41, the second clamping portion 42 and the connecting portion 44 and is in the shape of “U” apparently, and the first clamping portion 41, the second clamping portion 42 and the connecting portion 44 are all two dimensional planes, it is easier to be printed with the information of size of a garment on its outer surface than on the conventional three dimensional cylindrical information tabs, and is not subject to dropping from the hook or losing.
The information tab 40 is a cuboidal stub with a height of 1.5˜2.0 cm, so that when the information tab 40 is engaged with the hook 30, the information tab 40 will slide to a position on the bottom of the neck 31 of the hook 30; thereby, when information tabs 40 on an array of garment hangers all slide to the bottoms of the necks 31 of the hooks 30, in addition to having a good looking, a function of fast distinguishing sizes of the garments on the garment hangers can be provided.
And referring to FIG. 5 which is a schematic perspective view of another preferred embodiment of the present invention, wherein a garment hanger 50 comprises a main body 52 having on its upper end a hook 51, so that the main body 52 can be hung by means of the hook 51, the hook 51 is formed on its bottom a stepped portion 60 for being clamped. The stepped portion 60 further includes a first plane 61 and a second plane 62; the thickness of the first plane 61 is slightly smaller than that of the second plane 62.
Therefore, when the information tab 40 is engaged with the stepped portion 60, it can be fast detachably engaged via the opening 43 and clamped on the stepped portion 60. As shown in FIG. 6, after the information tab 40 is engaged with the stepped portion 60 at the bottom of the hook 51, the fifth and the sixth protrusions 416 and 417 can exactly clamp on the second plane 62 with the larger thickness, hence the information tab 40 is not subject to dropping.
Therefore, the present invention has the following advantages:
In the garment hanger with the information tab of the present invention, the information tab and the garment hanger are mutually cooperatively designed to be as a whole, so that information tabs on a plurality of garment hangers can slide to the bottoms of necks of hooks, in addition to having a good looking, a function of fast distinguishing sizes of the garments on the garment hangers can be provided.
The information tab is provided with a guiding means at its opening, so that when a user desires to hold the information tab to engage the hook, the action of this can be faster and more convenient.
The information tab is formed generally in the shape of “U” apparently, and each surface of the “U” shape is an outer two dimensional plane, this renders the process of production in printing the size marking for distinguishing on the surface of the information tab easier and faster.
In conclusion, according to the description disclosed above and the drawings, the present invention surely can achieve the expected objectives thereof to provide an information tab that can fast clamp a garment hanger.
The embodiment stated above is only for illustrating the present invention, it will be apparent to those skilled in this art that various equivalent modifications or changes according to the idea of and without departing from the spirit of this invention shall also fall within the scope of the appended claims.

Claims

1. A garment hanger with an information tab thereon comprising:

a main body provided on which with a hook, said main body thus is adapted to hanging garments with said hook, the bottom of said hook is formed a neck of a predetermined length;

said information tab including a first clamping portion and a second clamping portion, front ends of said first and said second clamping portions define an opening end, and a connecting portion is provided on rear ends of said first and said second clamping portions, so that said information tab is in a shape of “U”; wherein said front ends of said first and said second clamping portions extend inwards to the center of a transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a first and a second protrusion; said two rear ends of said first and said second clamping portions also extend inwards to said center of said transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a third and a fourth protrusion respectively; two middle portions of said first and said second clamping portions also extend respectively inwards to said center of said transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a fifth and a sixth protrusion, said first, said second, said third, said fourth, said fifth and said sixth protrusions form thereamong a receiving area, to thereby allow said information tab to be fast detachably engaged via said opening and clamped on said neck of said hook.

2. The information tab as claimed in claim 1, wherein said information tab is made of plastic by injection forming.

3. The information tab as claimed in claim 1, wherein length of said neck is set as 1.5˜2.0 cm, height of said information tab is same as said length of said neck.

An information tab comprising: a first clamping portion and a second clamping portion, front ends of said first and said second clamping portions define an opening end, and a connecting portion is provided on rear ends of said first and said second clamping portions, so that said information tab is in a shape of “U”; wherein said front ends of said first and said second clamping portions extend inwards to the center of a transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a first and a second protrusion; said two rear ends of said first and said second clamping portions also extend inwards to said center of said transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a third and a fourth protrusion respectively; two middle portions of said first and said second clamping portions also extend respectively inwards to said center of said transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a fifth and a sixth protrusion, said first, said second, said third, said fourth, said fifth and said sixth protrusions form thereamong a receiving area, thus said information tab able is adapted to engaging with said garment hanger.

5. The information tab as claimed in claim 4, wherein said information tab is made of plastic by injection forming.

6. The information tab as claimed in claim 4, wherein height of said information tab is 1.5˜2.0 cm.

7. A garment hanger with an information tab thereon comprising:

a main body provided on which with a hook, said main body thus is adapted to hanging garments with said hook, said hook is formed on its bottom a stepped portion for being clamped, said stepped portion further includes a first plane and a second plane; thickness of said first plane is slightly smaller than that of said second plane;

an information tab including a first clamping portion and a second clamping portion, front ends of said first and said second clamping portions define an opening end, and a connecting portion is provided on rear ends of said first and said second clamping portions, so that said information tab is in a shape of “U”; wherein said front ends of said first and said second clamping portions extend inwards to the center of a transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a first and a second protrusion; said two rear ends of said first and said second clamping portions also extend inwards to said center of said transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a third and a fourth protrusion respectively; two middle portions of said first and said second clamping portions also extend respectively inwards to said center of said transverse sectional area of said information tab to form a fifth and a sixth protrusion, said first, said second, said third, said fourth, said fifth and said sixth protrusions form thereamong a receiving area, to thereby allow said information tab to be fast detachably engaged with said stepped portion via said opening; said fifth and the sixth protrusions thus tightly clamp on said second plane, hence said information tab is not subject to dropping.
