Abstract
A gas decompression magazine of a toy gun comprising a bullet guiding slot and a container installed in parallel inside the magazine, a decompression valve is inside the container and subdivides the container into a gas bottle chamber and a decompression chamber, a control valve is on the top of the magazine, a gas bottle is installed inside the gas bottle chamber and connects to the decompression valve; the major character is: a plunger and a compression spring are installed in series inside the valve body of the decompression valve, then are threaded sealed by a cover on the top of the valve body; while application, users can adjust the depth of the cover inside the valve body to change the distance between the bottom of the cover and the top of the plunger, the decompression strength of the compression spring in between changes, the shooting gas pressure after adjustment can meet the safety requirement.
Description
- I. Field of the Invention
- This invention relates generally to a gas decompression magazine and, more specifically, to a gas decompression magazine of a toy gun that applies high pressure gas as power source, a decompression valve and a decompression chamber are between the high pressure gas bottle and the control valve to apply the cover of the decompression valve to adjust the resilience of the pressure spring and control the pressure of high pressure gas after decompression, such that to assure the shooting force is within safety regulation.
- II. Description of the Prior Art
- Heretofore, it is known that the structure of the gas bottle powered toy guns are not available for game for their lethality, those toy guns need decompression valve connected to the high pressure gas bottle to lower the pressure of the gas bottle, that can increase shooting quantity with the same capacity of gas bottle and assure shooting force is within safety regulation.
- However, referring to
FIG. 5 andFIG. 6 , the cross-sectional view of the whole body and the fixed pressure valve (the decompression valve of the present invention) of Taiwan listed pattern no. 568627 “Gas Decompression Device of Toy Guns”. The structure of the fixed pressure valve of the prior art is to have abullet guiding slot 11 and acontainer 12 installed in parallel with themagazine 10, adecompression valve 20 is inside thecontainer 12 to subdivide thecontainer 12 into agas bottle chamber 12 a and adecompression chamber 12 b, acontrol valve 30 is installed above themagazine 10, a highpressure gas bottle 40 is inside thegas bottle chamber 12 a, the highpressure gas bottle 40 connects to thedecompression valve 20; the working principle is when the high pressure gas inside the highpressure gas bottle 40 enters thedecompression chamber 12 b, the twosides plunger 22 inside thedecompression valve 20 apply the inverse proportion of area verse pressure physical character to have the pressure equilibrium between both sides of theplunger 22 of thedecompression valve 20, the area on thedecompression valve 12 b of theplunger 22 has the larger area to have less pressure for less gas pressure to achieve decompression purpose. The defects of above structure is the known decompression valve a is immobile, the decompression effect is fixed; while application or testing, users find the gas pressure is too high or too low, the known prior art withfixed plunger 22 can not change or adjust the gas pressure entering thedecompression chamber 12 b. - It is therefore a primary object of the invention to provide a gas decompression magazine of a toy gun that applies the decompression valve to adjust the gas pressure to make sure the high pressure gas inside the decompression chamber is in the best application range.
- In order to achieve the objective set forth, a gas decompression magazine of a toy gun in accordance with the present invention comprises a bullet guiding slot and a container installed in parallel inside the magazine, a decompression valve is inside the container and subdivides the container into a gas bottle chamber and a decompression chamber, a control valve is on the top of the magazine, a gas bottle is installed inside the gas bottle chamber and connects to the decompression valve; the major character is: a plunger and a compression spring are installed in series inside the valve body of the decompression valve, then are threaded sealed by a cover on the top of the valve body; a bottle connector is on the bottom of the valve body; a small hole is on the wall of the valve body to interconnect the space above the bottle connector and the decompression chamber; the bottle connector connects to the high pressure gas bottle on the lower portion and pierces the high pressure gas bottle while connecting to release the high pressure gas; a top needle is on top of the gas outlet on the center of the bottle connector, then a threaded cover seals the top and has the top needle pass through the threaded cover and prop the plunger.
- While application based on above structure, users can adjust the depth of the cover inside the valve body to change the distance between the bottom of the cover and the top of the plunger, the decompression strength of the compression spring in between changes, the shooting gas pressure after adjustment can meet the safety requirement.
- The accomplishment of the above-mentioned object of the present invention will become apparent from the following description and its accompanying drawings which disclose illustrative an embodiment of the present invention, and are as follows:

FIG. 1 toFIG. 3 andFIG. 5 , the parts with the same number tags are the same or similar parts with the prior art. - The present invention comprises a
bullet guiding slot 11 and acontainer 12 installed in parallel inside themagazine 10, adecompression valve 20 is inside thecontainer 12 and subdivides thecontainer 12 into agas bottle chamber 12 a and adecompression chamber 12 b, acontrol valve 30 is on the top of themagazine 10, agas bottle 40 is installed inside thegas bottle chamber 12 a and connects to thedecompression valve 20. - The major character is: a
plunger 22 and acompression spring 23 are installed in series inside thevalve body 21 of thedecompression valve 20, then are threaded sealed by acover 24 on the top of thevalve body 21, abottle connector 25 is on the bottom of thevalve body 21; asmall hole 211 is on the wall of thevalve body 21 to interconnect the space above thebottle connector 25 and thedecompression chamber 12 b; thebottle connector 25 connects to the highpressure gas bottle 40 on the lower portion and pierces the highpressure gas bottle 40 while connecting to release the high pressure gas; atop needle 252 is on top of thegas outlet 251 on the center of thebottle connector 25, then a threadedcover 253 seals the top and has thetop needle 252 pass through the threadedcover 253 and prop theplunger 22. - While in real application based on the structure described above, the gas pressure from the
gas bottle 40 can lift thetop needle 252, thecap 2521 of thetop needle 252 blocks the bottom of the threadedcover 253 to prevent the high pressure gas from entering thedecompression chamber 12 b (as shown inFIG. 3 ); when the pressure from thecompression spring 23 above theplunger 22 is larger than the strength from the gas pressure from thegas bottle 40 to thecap 2521 of thetop needle 252 and the bottom of the plunger 22 (such as instant release of the gas pressure inside thedecompression chamber 12 b), thecompression spring 23 pushes and opens thetop needle 252 through the plunger 22 (as shown inFIG. 4 ), the high pressure gas from thegas bottle 40 flows into thevalve body 21 again and also flows into thedecompression chamber 12 b through thesmall hole 211 on the wall of thevalve body 21, until the strength under the bottom of theplunger 22 is larger than thecompression spring 23 on top of theplunger 22, thecap 2521 of thetop needle 252 seals thewasher 254 under the threadedcover 253 to close thegas outlet 251, such can close the valve automatically and reduce the gas pressure. - While in real application based on the structure described above, users can adjust the depth of the
cover 24 inside thevalve body 21 to change the distance between the bottom of thecover 24 and the top of theplunger 22, the decompression strength of thecompression spring 23 in between changes, the shooting gas pressure after adjustment can meet the safety requirement. - While a preferred embodiment of the invention has been shown and described in detail, it will be readily understood and appreciated that numerous omissions, changes and additions may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
Claims (1)
1. A gas decompression magazine of a toy gun comprising:
a bullet guiding slot and a container installed in parallel inside the magazine, a decompression valve is inside said container and subdivides said container into a gas bottle chamber and a decompression chamber, a control valve is on the top of said magazine, a gas bottle is installed inside said gas bottle chamber and connects to said decompression valve;
a plunger and a compression spring are installed in series inside the valve body of said decompression valve, then are threaded sealed by a cover on the top of said valve body, a bottle connector is on the bottom of said valve body;
a small hole is on the wall of said valve body to interconnect the space above said bottle connector and said decompression chamber;
a top needle is on top of the gas outlet on the center of said bottle connector, then a threaded cover seals the top and has said top needle pass through said threaded cover and prop said plunger.
