Abstract
A pressurized air-filter container for mounting on a laser engraver, the structure includes a body container, an electric fan and at least a lens stand disposed within the body container for that a lens can be mounted thereon. An air inlet and air outlet is each located on lateral sides of the body container. An electric fan mounted on top of the air outlet draws air into the body container and, subsequently exhales air out through its other end to prevent exterior dust particles from accumulating on the lens surface.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a pressurized air-filter container, and more particularly to a structure by utilizing an electric fan that continuously draw-in air to create constant air flow within a body container for an extended period of time to prevent exterior dust particles from entering the body container and being accumulated on the surface of the lens therewithin. This invention provides a simple and economical solution to extend the usage life of the lens within the body container and is applicable to use in all types of laser engraving machines.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Laser cutting and engraving process is applicable to a wide spectrum of applications and is extensively used today. Its advantages include high precision, efficiency, reliability, and ease of control. Furthermore, it does not damage the work piece and yields high quality of finished product.
- The conventional laser engraver is designed to refract a laser beam with a lens stand positioned within a dustproof container adjacent to the laser tube. However, after an extended period of use and continuous shaking caused by use, exterior dust particles will enter in through the external openings of the container and accumulate thereon the surface of the lens within the container. To ensure proper functioning of the device, the user needs to halt the engraving process at frequent intervals to dismantle and clean the lens within the container. To avoid such troublesome and time-consuming works, other conventional structure is to use an air compressor to channel air into the container via a tube to prevent exterior dust particles from accumulating on the surface of the lens therein.
- Although the method used in the latter structure can overcome the issue of dust accumulation on the lens surface, it requires the installation of an air compressor each time prior to initiating the engraving process. And the air compressor itself is complex, large in size, and costly which is mainly designed for multi-functional uses, using it for only to solve the above problems seems not economical.
- In view of the above flaws, the inventor has studied and developed a pressurized air-filter container to solve the present technological issues.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a self-contained, simple, economical, and convenient pressurized air-filter container and it can prevent exterior dust particles from accumulating on the lens surface therewithin the container to extend the usage life of the lens.
- To achieve the above objective, the present invention comprises a body container, an electric fan and at least one lens stand disposed within the body container for mounting a lens thereon. An air inlet and air outlet is each located on lateral sides of the body container, and an electric fan, mounted around the air inlet to allow the air outside the body container being drawn into the body container and then exhale out through the air outlet to prevent exterior dust particles from accumulating thereon the lens surface.
- The description of the disclosure will be more apparent with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

FIGS. 1 and 2 , an embodiment of the present invention of a pressurized air-filter container 1 comprises abody container 11 and anelectric fan 12. - The
body container 11 is in the form of an L, within which disposed a lens stand 111 (this embodiment exemplifies with 3 sets of lens stands) for respectively mountinglens 112 thereon. Anair outlet 114 is located on the top of thebody container 11, while anair inlet 113 is located on lateral side therebelow to allow air to flow and circulate therewithin thebody container 11. Anelectric fan 12 is mounted around theair inlet 113, which is located on the lateral side of thebody container 11. - By this means, air draws into the
body container 11 via theelectric fan 12 and then exhales out through theair outlet 114 to prevent exterior dust particles from accumulating on the surface of thelens 112. - While In use as shown in FIGS. 2˜4, the
electric fan 12 is firstly mounted therearound theair inlet 113 located on the side of thebody container 11. Secondly, thebody container 11 is attached with thelaser tube 2 of a laser engraver to make laser beam being refracted by thelens 112 mounted on top of sets of lens stands 111 within thebody container 1. Theelectric fan 12 operates simultaneously to ensure that air outside is drawn into thebody container 11 and then exhale through theair outlet 114 to prevent exterior dust particles from entering via theair outlet 114 and accumulating on the surface of thelens 112. - In addition, as illustrated in
FIGS. 2 and 4 , to further prevent exterior dust particles from entering thebody container 11 via theelectric fan 12, afilter material 121 can be fixed (such as air-filter cloth or air-filter body) on top of thefan 12 to obtain the effect of preventing the entering of exterior dust particles . - Upon utilizing the above disclosed, the usage life of the
lens 112 can be extended by preventing exterior dust particles from entering thebody container 11 and accumulating thereon thelens 112 within thebody container 11. Furthermore, attaching thefan 12 with thebody container 11 not only simplifies the structure of the present invention for easy assembly and disassembly, but also effectively lowers its production cost, hence, making it more economical. - In sum, the present invention can indeed achieve its anticipated objective and provide a simple, convenient, and low cost embodiment of a pressurized air-filter container. While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Claims (4)
1. A pressurized air-filter container for mounting on a laser engraver, comprising:
a body container, having at least one lens stand disposed therewithin for mounting a lens, and having an air inlet and air outlet each located on lateral sides thereof; and
an electric fan, mounted around the air inlet, wherein air is drawn into the body container, and subsequently exhales out through the air outlet to prevent exterior dust particles from entering the body container and being accumulated on the lens.
2. The pressurized air-filter container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the fan further includes a filter material used to filter the drawn-in air.
3. The pressurized air-filter container as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the filter material may be an air-filter cloth or air-filter body
4. The pressurized air-filter container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the body container is in the form of an L, and the air inlet is located at a lateral side of lower portion of the body container, while the air outlet is located on the top of the body container.
