Abstract

The present invention relates to a clothes washing and holding apparatus comprising two semicircular housings capable of being coupled together to form a sphere, with pores on a surface thereof for the entry and exit of water, and a coupling member disposed on a rim thereof for coupling purpose; an impact ball, which is made of buoyant materials and inserted between the two semicircular housings. When brassieres are placed inside the two semicircular housings, the impact ball is placed between brassier cups, such that when the clothes washing and holding apparatus is spun into water, the buoyant impact ball will make the clothes washing and holding apparatus float on the water surface, thereby achieving excellent washing effects for brassieres.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • (a) Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to clothes washing and holding apparatus, particularly to a clothes washing and holding apparatus that specialized in washing women's underwear and disposed in a washing chamber.
  • (b) Description of the Prior Art
  • Although washing machines greatly facilitate doing laundry in people's daily lives, they easily cause damages to the clothes if all the clothes are simultaneously put into the washing machine for washing because clothes differ greatly in the fabrics, properties, and dyes.
  • If brassieres are put into the washing chamber of washing machines together with other ordinary clothes, they easily cause the outward projection of steel wires on a rim of brassieres, because women's underwear such as brassieres differ greatly in structures and may be deformed, thereby failing to maintain their shape and support the wearer's breasts. Moreover, some wearers may hurt their skin when wearing the brassieres. Therefore, when washing women's clothes such as brassieres, it is usually necessary to sort other clothes out and wash them by hand. However, the chemical ingredients containing in the washing liquid will hurt the skin of the wearer's hands.
  • For washing purposes, women's underwear is first put inside laundry net bags and then inside the washing machine to avoid the twisting and entwining of underwear and other clothes. However, it is not possible to do laundry of brassieres without damages made to them, because of the deformation of steel wires on the brassieres.
  • According to prior art, which can effectively avoid damages to the steel wires of underwear such as brassieres during laundry washing. However, the inventor of the present invention was not satisfied about this and intended to provide a better clothes washing and holding apparatus such that underwear such as brassieres can be thoroughly washed. When using the clothes washing and holding apparatus, the impact ring disposed in an interior of the semi-circular housings of the apparatus is in the shape of a ring, such that it is easily spun into the water and is not easily floated along with the water in the washing chamber due to insufficient buoyancy in water, thereby making unsatisfactory washing effects.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • To overcome the above drawbacks, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a clothes washing and holding apparatus with excellent washing effects, comprising two semicircular housings, each of which can be coupled together to form a sphere, with pores on a surface thereof for the entry and exit of water, and a coupling member disposed on a rim thereof for coupling purpose; an impact ball, which is made of buoyant materials and inserted between the two semicircular housings.
  • When brassieres are placed inside the two semicircular housings, the impact ball is placed between brassier cups, such that when the clothes washing and holding apparatus is spun into water, the buoyant impact ball will make the clothes washing and holding apparatus float on the water surface, thereby achieving excellent washing effects for brassieres.
  • To enable a further understanding of the objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.
  • BRIEF DESCIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 shows an exploded perspective view of the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 shows an exploded perspective view of the working conditions of the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 shows a cross-sectional view of the working conditions of the present invention.
  • FIG. 5 shows an exploded perspective view of another embodiment of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and 2, the clothes washing and holding apparatus of the present invention comprises two semicircular housings 10 and 11, each of which can be coupled together to form a sphere, with pores 12 on a surface thereof for the entry and exit of water, and a coupling member disposed on a rim thereof for coupling purpose; an impact ball 20, which is made of buoyant materials and inserted between the two semicircular housings 10 and 11.
  • The coupling member is provided with two coupling slots 100 on a rim of the semicircular housing 10 whereas two coupling springs 110 corresponding to the two coupling slots 100 are disposed on another semicircular housing 11. The semicircular housing 10 is provided with two pivotal pieces 101, each of which a pivotal hole 102 is disposed in a center toward a rim of the coupling member, whereas a pivotal piece 111 having a pivotal hole 112 is disposed on the corresponding rim of another semicircular housing 11, such that a pivot 13 passes through and is secured in the pivotal holes 102 and 112 corresponding to the pivotal pieces 101 and 111. Therefore, the two semicircular housings 10 and 11 can be pivoted to open or close.
  • A surface of the impact ball 20 is provided with a plurality of projected protuberances 21 to enhance the impact of the impact ball 20 when the clothes are impacted by the protuberances 21. The impact ball 20 can be hollow and made of plastic materials or can be made of solid foaming materials, or any buoyant materials.
  • Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, two cups 31 of a brassiere 30 are folded together, with an impact ball 20 inserted between the two cups 31. Then the brassiere 30 with the impact ball 20 inserted inside is put into the two semicircular housings 10 and 11, which become tightly coupled together and closed by the coupling member. Finally, the brassiere 30 can be put into the washing chamber and washed together with other clothes.
  • If the clothes washing and holding apparatus is spun into water along with the rinsing, this will make the brassiere 30 and the two semicircular housings 10 and 11 float out the water surface due to the buoyant impact ball 20. By means of repetitions together with the impact made between the cups 31 on the impact ball 20, this can achieve hitting and rubbing and prevent the formation of cleanser residuals, such that underwear can be excellently washed without being damaged.
  • Referring to FIG. 5, a plurality of coupling portions can be added to an interior on a rim of the two semicircular housings 10 and 11. Each coupling portion is provided with a plurality of long buckle holes 103 in an interior on a rim of one semicircular housing 10 whereas barbed bolts corresponding to the long buckle holes 103 are disposed on another semicircular housing 11 such that the two semicircular housings 10 and 11 are closed together. Therefore, this can make the sphere more secure and prevent it from being automatically opened under the strong impact of water and other clothes, thereby making the present invention practical.
  • To enhance physical appeal and novelty of the present invention, the semicircular housings 10 and 11 shown in FIG. 5 can also be provided with mold-injected blocks 104 and 114 in different colors and materials (or fluorescent rubber/plastics) by mold injection on some pores 12 therein or any surface thereon. Moreover, according to the embodiment of the present invention, a rope 14 can be wrapped on the pivot 13 at a pivotal portion of the two semicircular housings 10 and 11, such that the rope 14 can be exposed outside the housings to be used as a handle for carrying.
  • It is of course to be understood that the embodiment described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
