Abstract
The present invention provides a kind of Laminated Inner Structure of Wooden Billiard Cue, through which a tubal auxiliary part of proper length and thickness was designed, so that it would make the external main body have proper efficacy in shaping based on high hardness of the auxiliary part and overcome the defect of easy deformation, further better the application efficacy.
Description
- The present invention provides a kind of Laminated Inner Structure of Wooden Billiard Cue, relating to sports articles.
- Previous Techniques
- In the field of preparation techniques of billiard cue, because of the technical development in composite materials, makes light and solid composite materials are used widely in making mainly body of billiard cue. However this kind of simple applied technology is limited for the composite materials' property. Although it has the advantage in lightweight of light as billiard cue made of this kind of material, there are some defects, especially in application efficacy.
- Comparing with the composite materials, the concentric circles cannot be obtained on the section while using timbering with the techniques that taking traditional timber as the main integrant of billiard cue. Additionally, there is no perfect straight line among wooden lines, some gnarls would make the lines excuse and bend. Therefore, the main body of billiard cue made of this kind of timber would change easily with the changing temperature and humidity, and bend easily. It is nonideal for application or storage.
- Further, the techniques for billiard cue described in U.S. Pat. No. 6736733 for invention indicate that use the proper composite material to make its main body, and convolute the perimeter side with a wooden fibre layer about 0.05 mm to 1 mm in thickness for protecting the billiard cue and preventing it from deformation.
- However, factually, the efficacy cannot be obtained effectively if use the technique the aforesaid patent described to make billiard cue, that mainly wrap the quite thin wooden fibre layer on the perimeter side of composite material by means of convoluting, the process preciseness required is very strict, a little excursion or unequal rolling force would make the stress of billiard cue cannot be equal and affect the stability while hitting ball, additionally, the equality of wall in thickness on the outer side of billiard cue would not be perfect while preparing by means of rolling. Therefore, the former patent should further coat a quite thick protective layer based on the wooden fibre layer. That not only can make the wooden fibre have the efficacy in separation but also surrounding of billiard cue be designed flatly. In another word, as far as the techniques the former patent described is concerned, it is limited the convoluted wooden fibre layer's capability in improving the efficacy of billiard cue, being not so good as that it visual effect of its appearance. It isn't good technique.
- The present invention provides a kind of Laminated Inner Structure of Wooden Billiard Cue, which laminates the interior of wooden billiard cue to maintain the original property of the wooden billiard cue, further to avoid the former wooden material from deformation.
- For the above purposes, the present invention provides a kind of Laminated Inner Structure of Wooden Billiard Cue, which contains a main body, with a minimal outer diameter part designed on the end of main body's ends; a shaft hole with designed diameter was designed in the interior of main body, and it extends to the designed depth along the shaft. The designed diameter of hole would be less than 70% of minimal outer diameter. Additionally, a straight tubal auxiliary part with designed length which made of composite materials was designed and fixed through the hole.
- Thereinafter, hereby describe further that by means of illustrating practical invention and drawings, in which:
- Figure I is the three-dimensional disassembled view of one good practical invention;
- Figure II is the three-dimensional view of one good practical invention
- Figure III is the cutaway view of one good practical invention based on the direction of 3-3 of FIG. II.
- Figure IV is the plane graph of one good practical invention
- Figure V is the cutaway sketch map of one good practical invention based on part A of FIG. IV.
- As shown in all figures, the present invention provides a kind of Laminated Inner Structure of Wooden Billiard Cue (10), which contains a main body (20), shaft hole (30) and auxiliary part (40).
- The main body (20) is made through processing timber log, which is a straight pole with proper diameter and contains fastigiate first pole (21) and second pole (22) which can connect each other, one minimal outer part (23) which is located on the end of shaft of pole (21), in which they can connected in series each other with the same shaft of the first and second pole (21)(22) which is not composed of many separated wooden slice but a single timber for forming the fastigiate appearance. This is technique what we described, here never be described. And the outer diameter of minimal outer part is the one of fastigiate main body (20).
- The shaft hole (30) extends from the end surface of another end of the first pole (21 )'s shaft to the inner shaft to certain depth, whose diameter is similar mostly (70%) with the one of minimal outer part (23) besides being equal.
- The auxiliary part (40) is made of composite materials containing selected carbon fiber or fiberglass or other similar materials, which is a pipe with proper length. Its outer diameter matches the diameter of shaft hole (30) and was designed through the shaft hole (30) with the shaft for corresponding to the interior of main body (20). It mainly has an effect for shaping.
- Based on the above structure, this Laminated Inner Structure of Wooden Billiard Cue (10) not only has the physical character that it would cannot easily deform based on high hardness of the auxiliary part (40) made of composite materials and make the corresponding part of billiard cue be in involved in shaping in the interior of billiard cue, for preventing the wood of main body (20) from deformation for changing temperature and humidity, as far as the billiard cue made of only timber or only composite material is concerned, it but also
