Abstract
The present invention discloses a box and cover arrangement, comprising a box and a cover. The box comprising a receptacle chamber, an opening of the receptacle chamber, two concave rails provided in two parallel sides of the receptacle chamber respectively, and two positioning stops respectively protruded from the concave rails; and a cover, adapted for covering the opening of the box, the cover having two convex tracks provided in two parallel sides of the cover respectively and corresponding to the two concave rails of the box, and two positioning recesses respectively indented in the two convex tracks and corresponding to the two positioning stops of the box. When the two convex tracks of the cover respectively sliding to the inner ends of the two concave rails of the box, the two positioning recesses of the cover are respectively locked onto the two positioning stops of the box.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a box and cover arrangement and more particularly, to a box and cover arrangement applied on a battery cover arrangement.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- A conventional method of installing batteries into devices such as remote controls or cellular phones more than often involves placing a battery cover on top of the battery, such that the box and the cover are interlocked with each other. However, by utilizing the conventional method, as mentioned above, certain amount of space must be occupied by the corresponding interlock arrangement in order to assemble the cover onto the box. If the device accidentally experienced external impacts such as falling on the ground, it would be relatively easy to have the cover detaching from the box, as well as causing fractures on the interlock arrangement. It is therefore necessary to improve those certain shortcomings that can be found in the conventional interlock arrangement.
- A box and cover arrangement in accordance with present invention utilizes two concave rails mounted on the box fastening into convex tracks mounted on the cover to attain stabilization.
- To achieve this and other objects of the present invention, the box and cover arrangement comprises: a box, comprising a receptacle chamber, an opening of the receptacle chamber, two concave rails provided in two parallel sides of the receptacle chamber respectively, and two positioning stops respectively protruded from the concave rails; and a cover, adapted for covering the opening of the box, the cover having two convex tracks provided in two parallel sides of the cover respectively and corresponding to the two concave rails of the box, and two positioning recesses respectively indented in the two convex tracks and corresponding to the two positioning stops of the box; wherein, when the two convex tracks of the cover respectively sliding to the inner ends of the two concave rails of the box, the two positioning recesses of the cover are respectively locked onto the two positioning stops of the box.
- The box and cover arrangement as mentioned above; wherein the positioning stop of the box is a round-shaped protrusion.
- The box and cover arrangement as mentioned above; wherein the positioning recess of the cover is a round-shaped recess.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a box and cover arrangement according to the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is a top sectional view according to the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is a detailed view of the embodiment according to the present invention illustrating an attachment of positioning stops of the box and positioning recess of the cover taken in an enlarged scale - Referring to
FIG. 1 , the perspective view of the present invention, the box and cover arrangement comprises abox 10 and acover 20. - In this embodiment, first referring to the arrangement of the
box 10, thebox 10 comprises areceptacle chamber 11, and an opening of thereceptacle chamber 12, twoparallel sides 13, twoconcave rails 14, and two positioning stops 15; wherein twoconcave rails 14 provided in two parallel sides of thereceptacle chamber 12 respectively. And two positioning stops 15 respectively protruded from theconcave rails 14. - Further referring to the arrangement of the
cover 20, in this embodiment of thecover 20 comprises twoconcave rails 14, twoconvex tracks 21, and two positioning recesses; wherein twoconvex tracks 21 provided in two parallel sides of thecover 20 respectively and corresponding to the two concave rails of the box, and two positioning recesses respectively indented in the two convex tracks and corresponding to the two positioning stops 15 of thebox 10. - As the
cover 20 and thebox 10 are assembled, wherein, when the two convex tracks of thecover 20 respectively sliding to the inner ends of the two concave rails of thebox 10, the two positioning recesses of thecover 20 are respectively locked onto the two positioning stops of thebox 10. - Referring to
FIG. 3 ,FIG. 3 is a detailed view illustrating the attachment of the positioning stops of the box and the positioning recess of the cover taken in an enlarged scale. Thepositioning stop 15 of the box is a round-shaped protrusion, and the positioning recess of the cover is a round-shaped recess; accordingly the object of completely covering and closing up the opening 12 of the receptacle chamber by thecover 20 can be achieved. - Although the present invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
