Abstract
A Video-monitor system having basic function: like optic scope, zoom in the target from distance and show read-able picture on display device for shooter. Because digital video could be display on TV, LCD, Laptop and PDA in real-time, it would saving more time on each time to look at target to catch it up then optical scope. The further function: There is a smart marker in screen always move to the last point appeared at target, Let shooter know score immediately after each shooting. At meantime, system gathers and stores all information for recording and later research on shooting-skill training.
Description
- This invention relates in general digital video system. More particularly, this invention to apply in target automatic examination. Ether useful for shooting skill improvement or gun calibration.
- Tradition examination target to find where is the last hitting point by optical scope have two defections: one is every time approach scope, it take time to just scope to focus the object. Second is hard to find which one is last point when after few points have already at there. So a fixed optical part is necessary for first one. To compare tow images between before and after shooting by digital picture processing is available and wonderful solution for secondary issue. The smart-scope is not only providing an easy viewing for shooter, but also find out certain hitting point and indicate it. The key is how can compare two image finish job in short time, and work reliably. So far, high speed CPU and more big capability memory to allow to process large file, like array or image.
- However, mathematic combine digital image technology is basic way to deal with this problem.
Claims (5)
1. A Digital Scope system comprising:
A camera having digital communication interface, be able zoom one feet square picture on out door condition to get target, send it with digital signal at real time. And:
A control box having communication interface to receive image, process digital signal to find out different between two corn in picture at half second. And send target picture with new marked position to display device. And
A display device can show visible picture on out-door condition.
2. A Digital Scope system according to claim 1 wherein the system can be setup at range as an station system by primary camera, desktop computer, CRT monitor; or can be setup as an portable system by compact camera, laptop computer, PDA device.
3. A Digital Scope system according to claim 1 wherein the control box is computer with program or any mic-controller system having capability to processing picture transaction and communication interface for operator.
4. A Digital Scope system according to claim 3 wherein the communication interface allow operator input shooting information and choice display style, set up and stop system going.
5. A Digital Scope system according to claim 3 wherein the processing mean of showing last point. And
Capture tow adjacent image within half second. Compare those picture above, find out the point in late in picture is different with the one first in on coordinate. Purse the data of coordinate, put marker in late in picture. And
Send the late in picture to display device.
