Abstract

A golf ball-clipping device is provided for clipping golf balls. The golf ball-clipping device includes two rear vertical sections, a first upper connective section extending to a rear vertical section from the other rear vertical section, two front vertical sections shorter than the rear vertical sections, two lower connective sections each extending to a rear vertical section from a related front vertical section and a second upper connective section extending to a front vertical section from the other front vertical section. The vertical sections restrain the golf balls. The lower connective sections support the golf balls.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
  • 1. Field of Invention
  • The present invention relates to golf and, more particularly, to a golf ball holder.
  • 2. Background of Invention
  • In Taiwanese Publication No. 281029, a conventional golf ball holder includes a sleeve 112 and a hook 121. The sleeve 112 includes an upper open end 115 for receiving golf balls 111 and a lower open end 116 for releasing the golf balls 111. The sleeve 112 is elastic and includes a diameter smaller than that of a golf ball 111. Thus, the sleeve 112 automatically holds the golf balls 111. A loop 130 is sewed to the sleeve 112. A cross bar 126 is inserted through the loop 130. Two ears 125 are connected with the cross bar 126. A shaft 124 is inserted in each ear 125. A collar 122 is connected with the shafts 124. A shaft (not shown) is extended from the hook 121 and inserted in the collar 122. To take a golf ball 111 from the sleeve 112, a golfer squeezes the sleeve 112 in order to drive a golf ball 111 from the lower open end 116. However, it is not easy for the golfer to catch the golf ball 111 since it comes in all directions. Moreover, a golf ball 111 might fall from the sleeve 112 if the sleeve 112 is squeezed accidentally. To connect the sleeve 112 with the hook 121, the loop 130, the cross bar 126, the ears 125, the shafts 124, the collar 122 and the shaft extended from the hook 121 are used. These elements form a complicated structure.
  • The present invention is therefore intended to obviate or at least alleviate the problems encountered in prior art.
  • SUMMARY OF INVENTION
  • According to the present invention, a golf ball-clipping device is provided for clipping golf balls.
  • The primary advantage of the according to the present invention is its simple and reliable structure
  • Other objects, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description in conjunction with the attached drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
  • The present invention will be described via detailed illustration of two embodiments referring to the drawings.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a golf ball holder according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is a reduced perspective view of the golf ball holder of FIG. 1 hung on a golf bag.
  • FIG. 3 is an enlarged side view of the golf ball holder and the golf bag shown in FIG. 2.
  • FIG. 4 is a front view of the golf ball holder and the golf bag of FIG. 2.
  • FIG. 5 is similar to FIG. 4 but shows the golf ball holder in a different position.
  • FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a golf ball holder according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 7 is a reduced perspective view of the golf ball holder of FIG. 6 hung on a golf bag.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 through 5, according to a first embodiment of the present invention, a golf ball holder 10 includes a clipping device 20 for clipping golf balls 41 and a hooking device 30 for attaching the clipping device 20 to a golf bag 40.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1, the clipping device 20 is made through bending an elastic elongated element such as a metal rod. The clipping device 20 includes two rear vertical sections 24, a first upper connective section 21 extending to a rear vertical section 24 from the other rear vertical section 24, two front vertical sections 25 shorter than the rear vertical sections 24, two lower connective sections 23 each extending to a rear vertical section 24 from a related front vertical section 25 and a second upper connective section 22 extending to a front vertical section 25 from the other front vertical section 25.
  • The hooking device 30 includes a hook 31 and a cap 32 connected with the hook 31. The cap 32 is installed on the first upper connective section 21.
  • Referring to FIG. 2, the golf bag 40 includes a rack 42 formed thereon. The hook 31 hooks the rack 42. Thus, the clipping device 20 is attached to the golf bag 40 as well as the hooking device 30.
  • Referring to FIG. 3, the second upper connective section 22 is bent from the first upper connective section 21 so that the golf balls 41 can easily be loaded to the clipping device 20.
  • Referring to FIG. 4, the golf balls 41 are clipped by means of the clipping device 20. The lower connective sections 23 close towards each other in order to support the golf balls 41.
  • Referring to FIG. 5, the lowest one of the golf balls 41 is removed from the clipping device 20. As made elastic, the vertical sections 24 and 25 and the lower connective sections 23 are opened in order to release the lowest one of the golf balls 41.
  • Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, according to a second embodiment of the present invention, only the clipping device 20 is used, saving the hooking device 30. The clipping 20 is attached to the golf bag 40 by means of a loop 43.
  • The present invention has been described via detailed illustration of the embodiments. Those skilled in the art can derive variations from the embodiments without departing from the scope of the present invention. Hence, the embodiments shall not limit the scope of the present invention defined in the claims.
