Description
- (a) Field of Invention
- The present invention relates to a case shaped structure, e.g. storage case, drawer etc. to provide a folding case with a structural firmness and convenient storage.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- In everyday life, storage cases are often needed for collecting and storing items; moreover, venders use storage cases to store goods on sale, e.g. vegetables, fry goods etc. for preserving or categorizing goods.
- The conventional storage case that allows an acceptable amount of storage usually inherits an invariable size, thus different staking cases appeared, allowing the user to stack the vacant storage cases away.
- Although such a stacking method allows the stacking of a number of vacant storage cases, but in a conventional home, a number of vacant storage cases may not be applicable; in addition, the living area is originally limited, thus vacant storage cases can cause obstruction on space.
- Thus the inconvenience is not in the number of cases, but the set size of the conventional vacant storage case.
- A primary objective of the present invention is to provide four corners of a base plate with a first and second connecting piece assembled thereon, whereby the first connecting piece connects the base plate with a front and post sided plate, and the second connecting piece connects the base plate with the left and right sided plate, allowing folding between the front and post sided, the left and right sided and the base plate.
- Furthermore, inserting apertures are formed on upper tips of the front, post, left and right sided plates, whereby four corner connecting pieces are inserted into the corresponding inserting apertures, thus assembling a firm case structure.
- When the corner connecting pieces are not inserted into the inserting apertures, the front and post sided, the left and right sided and the base plate can fold overlapping each other for easier storage.
- To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.
-
FIG. 1 shows a schematic assembled view according to the present invention. -
FIG. 2 shows a structural exploded view according to the present invention. -
FIG. 3 shows a partial enlarged view according to the present invention. -
FIG. 4 shows a partial enlarged view according to the present invention. -
FIG. 5 shows a partial schematic enlarged view according to the present invention. -
FIG. 6 shows a partial enlarged view according to the present invention. -
FIG. 7 shows a partial schematic view according to the present invention. -
FIG. 8 shows a partial enlarged view according to the present invention. - To better understand the present invention, detailed descriptions shall be given with the accompany drawings hereunder.
- As shown if
FIG. 1 , a folding box comprising of abase plate 11, a front and a postsided plate 12 and a left and a rightsided plate 13. A frame structure of the front and postsided plate 12 as well as the left and rightsided plate 13 comprises a circular tube-shaped frame with four sides, whereby applying a knittedmaterial 15, e.g. cloth, rattan etc. to the frame thereafter. Anopening 16 can be formed on a plate body of the left and right sided plate 13 (or the front and post sided plate 12) for convenient carriage, but the folding case can also be utilized as a drawer. - As shown in
FIG. 2 , four first connectingpieces 21 and foursecond connecting pieces 22 are assembled to four corners of thebase plate 11, wherein the front and postsided plate 12 having the first four connectingpieces 21 connects to thebase plate 11 whereas the left and rightsided plate 13 having the second connectingpieces 22 connects to thebase plate 11, thus allowing the front, post, left and rightsided plates base plate 11 to inherit folding capabilities respectively. - Furthermore, a
inserting aperture 14 is formed on two top-most corners of the two front and postsided plates 12 and the two left and rightsided plates 13, wherein fourcorner connecting pieces 23 are inserted into the correspondinginserting apertures 14, thus allowing the front and postsided plate 12, the left and rightsided plate 13 and thebase plate 11 to fold overlapping each other for easier storage. - Two
inserting apertures 14 are formed on each corner of thebase plate 11, provided for inserting the first connectingpiece 21 and the second connectingpiece 22 respectively. Theinserting aperture 14 is formed on each corner of the two front and postsided plates 12, provided for inserting the first connectingpiece 21; theinserting aperture 14 is also formed on each corner of the two left and rightsided plates 13, provided for inserting the second connectingpiece 22. The aforesaidinserting apertures 14 can be formed directly by a hollow structure of circular tube shape of the balk frame. - As shown in
FIGS. 2 and 3 , the first connectingpiece 21 comprises of abase portion 24, with anpivoting rod 25 and ainserting rod 26 forming on thebase portion 24, wherein theinserting aperture 14 of the base plate, having thepivoting rod 25 inserted thereinto and theinserting aperture 14 of the front and postsided plate 12 having theinserting rod 26 inserted thereinto, thereby enabling the front and postsided plate 12 to use thepivoting rod 25 as the center axis for folding purposes. Whereas, the structure of the second connectingpiece 22, as shown inFIGS. 5 and 6 , abase portion 24 is formed, with twopivoting rods 25 forming parallel on thebase portion 24, wherein theinserting aperture 14 of thecorresponding base plate 11 and the left and rightsided plate 13 having thepivoting rods 25 inserted thereinto, further, the left and rightsided plate 13 uses thepivoting rod 25 as the center axis for folding purposes. - Therefore, the front and post
sided plates 12, the left and rightsided plates 13 and thebase plate 11 of the whole folding case enables folding into a case shape and securing the case shape by means of thecorner connecting pieces 23, thus achieving a firm storage case, moreover, as shown inFIGS. 7 and 8 , the corner connectpieces 23 comprises of abase portion 24, with two parallel insertingrods 26 forming on thebase portion 24, wherein neighboringinserting apertures 14 of the front and postsided plate 12 and the left and rightsided plate 13 having insertingrods 26 inserted. - As shown in
FIGS. 3, 5 and 7, the first connectingpiece 21, the second connectingpiece 22 and thecorner connecting piece 23 are molded as one unit. The components on thebase portion 24,e.g. pivoting rod 25, insertingrod 26 etc. can be manufactured separately, and assembled together firmly by means of screws, to achieve the same effect. - In conclusion, the aforesaid invention is a better folding case structure.
- It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
