Abstract

A wheelbarrow (10,11,12,14,18) with 2 holes in it near handle. Straps (20) go through holes. Adjustment piece (22) can expand or shorten size of straps (20). Straps holder (24) has both straps (20) going through it. Connected to straps holders (24) is a rectangular piece (26).
A wheelbarrow back straps assembly. Strap adjuster (28) is on rear strap (32). Strap adjuster (28) lenghens or shortens waist strap (32). Waist hooks (34) are on front side of waist straps (32). Round pieces (38) attach to waist hooks (34). Hooks (36) attach near handles on wheelbarrow. Straps adjusters (40) is in the middle of straps (42).

  • This application claims the benefit of provisional patent application Ser. No. 60/606,314 filed Sep. 02, 2004.
  • BACKGROUND-—FIELD OF INVENTION
  • This invention relates to a type of wheelbarrow with straps. The straps are designed to be worn by a person.
  • OBJECTS AND ADVANTAGES
  • Accordingly, A object and advantage of my invention is:
  • (A) To provide a moving machine that shifts the weight differently on a person than a standard wheelbarrow.

  • Description—FIGS. 1 to 5
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 are drawings of straps and wheelbarrow. Straps 20 go through 2 holes in wheelbarrow 18. One hole is near right handgrip of wheelbarrow. The other hole is near left handgrip of wheelbarrow. Adjustment pieces 22 can expand or shorten size of straps 20. Straps holders 24 has both straps going through it. Connnected to straps holder 24 is a rectangular piece 26.
  • Another type of wheelbarrow is an assembly type. FIGS. 3 and 4 are front and rear views of straps worn on upper body of person. The rear view, strap adjuster 28 lenghens or shortens waist straps 32. Waist hooks 34 are the front view. FIG. 5 has hooks 36 on one end of straps 40. On the other end of straps 40 are round pieces 38. A strap lengh adjuster 40 is in the middle of each straps 42.
  • Operation—FIGS. 1 and 2
  • To take stress off the arms when pushing a wheelbarrow straps 20 are put over shoulders. Rectangular piece 26 is worn in front of person against chest. Straps 20 go through holders 24 to prevent straps from sliding off shoulders. Adjustment pieces 22 expands or shortens the size of straps for a person
  • Operation—FIGS. 3,4 and 5
  • Assembly version of Wheelbarrow Back Straps are shown in FIGS. 3,4 and 5. Shoulder straps 30 go over shoulders of person. Waist strap 32 goes around waist of person. Strap adjuster 28 is adjusted for comfortable fit around waist. Each of 2 round pieces 38 are put in hooks 34. Hooks 36 are connected to pieces near handgrips of wheelbarrow. Strap adjuster 40 can be adjusted based on height of person.
  • Although the description contains many specificities, these should not be construed as limiting the scope of the invention but as merely providing illustrations of some of the presently preferred embodiments of this invention.
  • Thus the scope of the invention should be determined by the appended claims and their legal equivalents, rather than by the examples given.
  • SUMMARY, RAMIFICATIONS, AND SCOPE
  • Accordingly, the reader will see that the Wheelbarrow Back Straps shifts weight on the body differently than a wheelbarrow with no back straps.

Claims (3)

1) A method for moving objects comprising a wheelbarrow, straps that connect to a vest type outfit worn by a person and straps accessories.
2) A accessory to a wheelbarrow comprising:
A) 2 holes, one in each area near handgrips on wheelbarrow:
B) Two straps, each one going through said holes.
C) A strap adjuster for said straps.
D) A member said straps lay against.
3) Assembly accessories to a wheelbarrow comprising:
A) Straps that connect to wheelbarrow and vest outfit.
B) Said straps have lengh adjusters.
