Abstract
A laminated panel mainly comprises a base panel and a veneer which is attached to the base panel by adhesive. The base panel has a rough, uneven and meshed surface for easily and firmly bonding to the wet cement applied on the floor or the wall. The another surface of the base panel is pasted with a layer of adhesive to be attached with a decoratively surfaced veneer to become a complete wall panel used as the ceramic tile directly applied to the wall. It is very easy to paste with high quality, presenting beautiful elegant wooden patterns and it is expected to take the place of all the laminated wall decorative material.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- This invention relates to a laminated panel which can be used as the floor tile and the wall tile.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- The ceramic, marble and wooden tile are generally used to decorate the floor and the wall for the purpose of beautification. The ceramic and marble are easy and convenient to apply, but they appear a feeling of rigidity. In pursuit of high living quality and environment, the wooden floor presents another beautified vision the ceramic and marble floor are unable to do.
- In general as the wooden panel is used as the floor tile and the wall tile, it usually entails the elevated frame to support on the wall or the strap stiffener, sponge and foam material under the floor tile as a cushion for the moist prevention and noise reduction. Because the contraction of such wooden wall is rather technically complicated and the cost is rather high, in addition, it seems that the interior space is considerably shrunk and easily susceptible to the fire. This is the common weakness prevailing on the wooden wall panel.
- In an effort to beautify the floor tile and the wall panel, the inventor has invented a good-looking laminated wooden wall panel to achieve low production and contraction cost, easy contraction and vast application.
- The technique this invention applies is to employ the ceramic or concrete slab as the base panel with a rough and uneven surface on which an adhesive film is pasted to bind a piece of veneer to form a surface layer. This laminated panel is a complete element being used as the wall tile or the floor tile and the decorative partners printed on the veneer can be diversified as it is desired. This laminated panel offers good looking vision, comfortable feeling, easy for direct placement and is going to substitute the elevated laminated floor and wall material.
- In practice, the laminated panel as provided in this invention provides low cost in material and placement, the floor or the wall so contracted will possesses stable, noiseless and high bond structure with high fire resistance because base panel is not inflammable wooden material, only the top layer is the veneer material subjected to flammability. Under the wet weather, the veneer is able to suck the moist not as the ceramic tile to ooze the moist. It creates a great industrial utilization. This is the main object of this invention.
-
FIG. 1 shows the appearance of the laminated panel of this invention. -
FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the veneer printed with the straight line. -
FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of veneer arrangement of the laminated panel of this invention. -
FIG. 4 shows the composition of the laminated panel of this invention. -
FIG. 5 shows another embodiment of the laminated panel of this invention. - Please refer to
FIGS. 1 through 5 , the laminated panel consists of at least onebase panel 1, theadhesive 3 on the top surface and on which theveneer 2 is pasted. - The
base panel 1 can be directly attached to the sintered ceramic slab or the concrete slab. The base panel has a rough, uneven or meshed bindingsurface 11 to be firmly attached to the concrete slab. On the top surface of thebinding surface 11, there is a layer ofadhesive layer 12 on which anadhesive 3 is coated to receive thethin veneer 2. These parts constitute a complete laminated panel. - The decorative pattern varies greatly. As shown in
FIGS. 1 and 2 , they are straight lines. The patterns shown inFIG. 3 constitute multiple straight and lateral lines in the staggered arrangement. The size of theveneer 2 is bigger than that of thebase panel 1 as the h indicated (seeFIG. 4 ) which forms a protruded seal and seamless surface. - The outstanding advantages the laminated panel holds are described below:
- 1. The laminated panel is directly placed on the ceramic slab, easy for construction. Once completed, it presents a good-looking vision.
- 2. The laminated panel requires no elevated multiple cushion material as the prior art of wall tile does. The construction is simple, low technically, which saves lots in time, cost and material.
- 3. The laminated panel is directly placed on the ceramic slab and the complete wall or floor offers stable, noiseless and high bond features.
- 4. The base panel of this invention has high fire resistance, and the veneer, if impregnated with fire resistant chemical, will give high fire retardation.
- 5. The laminated panel of this invention in which the moist oozed from the base panel will be entirely sucked by the top veneer.
- 6. The laminated panel can be organized in any forms, style and pattern as it is desired.
FIG. 1 shows the rectangular form andFIG. 6 , the polyhedron. - 7. The laminated panel of this invention can achieve low cost, low price and vast application.
- 8. The laminated panel of this invention can be formed as one unit, like the ceramic tile, directly placed on wall to substitute the prior art of laminated panel which entails multiple layers of accessory materials. The decorative patterns on the veneer surface present good-looking vision and comfortable feeling.
- Viewing from the above statements, it is learned that the laminated panel provided in this invention is easy for placement both on the wall or on the floor. Once completed, the wall or the floor offers good-looking vision and comfortable feeling with high fire resistance, worthy of industrial application.
