  • FIG. 8 is a schematic operational view of the foldable hammock as shown in FIG. 1 in use.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1 and 1A, a foldable hammock in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises two bottom frames 1, and two side frames 2 each pivotally mounted on the bottom frames 1.
  • Each of the two bottom frames 1 includes a fixed tube 11 and two retractable tubes 12 each retractably mounted on the fixed tube 11. The fixed tube 11 of each of the two bottom frames 1 has two ends each formed with a plurality of locking holes 111. Each of the two retractable tubes 12 of each of the two bottom frames 1 has a first end retractably mounted in a respective one of the two ends of the fixed tube 11 and provided with a spring-biased protruding locking boss 121 detachably locked in either one of the locking holes 111 of a respective end of the fixed tube 11.
  • Each of the two side frames 2 is a substantially A-shaped body. Each of the two side frames 2 includes two upright rods 22 each having a lower end pivotally mounted on a second end of a respective one of the two retractable tubes 12 of each of the two bottom frames 1 by a pivot base 21 and an upper end provided with a protruding socket 221. The sockets 221 of the two side frames 2 are directed toward each other. The two upright rods 22 of each of the two side frames 2 are arranged in an inclined manner. The upper ends of the two upright rods 22 of each of the two side frames 2 are connected with each other. Each of the two side frames 2 further includes a joint 23 mounted on a connection of the upper ends of the two upright rods 22, and a hanging hook 24 mounted on the joint 23.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, a canopy 3 is mounted on the foldable hammock and has distal ends 31 each inserted into the socket 221 of each of the two side frames 2, so that the canopy 3 is supported by the foldable hammock rigidly and stably.
  • As shown in FIG. 3, a swing chair 4 is mounted on the foldable hammock and has distal ends each suspended on the hanging hook 24 of each of the two side frames 2, so that the swing chair 4 is supported by the foldable hammock rigidly and stably.
  • As shown in FIG. 4, a soft bed 5 is mounted on the foldable hammock and has distal ends each suspended on the hanging hook 24 of each of the two side frames 2, so that the soft bed 5 is supported by the foldable hammock rigidly and stably.
  • As shown in FIGS. 5 and 5A, a foldable chair 6 is mounted on the foldable hammock and is provided with two ropes 64 each suspended on the hanging hook 24 of each of the two side frames 2, so that the foldable chair 6 is supported by the foldable hammock rigidly and stably. Preferably, the foldable chair 6 includes a seat 61, a backrest 62 pivotally mounted on the seat 61 by two linking levers 63. Thus, the foldable chair 6 is folded as shown in FIG. 5A when not in use.
  • As shown in FIG. 6, the canopy 3 and the swing chair 4 are fastened by the socket 221 and the hanging hook 24 of each of the two side frames 2 respectively, so that the canopy 3 and the swing chair 4 are supported by the foldable hammock rigidly and stably.
  • As shown in FIG. 7, the canopy 3 and the soft bed 5 are fastened by the socket 221 and the hanging hook 24 of each of the two side frames 2 respectively, so that the canopy 3 and the soft bed 5 are supported by the foldable hammock rigidly and stably.
  • As shown in FIG. 8, the canopy 3 and the foldable chair 6 are fastened by the socket 221 and the hanging hook 24 of each of the two side frames 2 respectively, so that the canopy 3 and the foldable chair 6 are supported by the foldable hammock rigidly and stably.
  • Accordingly, the foldable hammock is available for a canopy, a soft bed, a swing chair, a foldable chair or the like, thereby greatly enhancing the versatility of the foldable hammock to facilitate a user operating the foldable hammock. In addition, each of the two retractable tubes 12 of each of the two bottom frames 1 is retractably mounted in the fixed tube 11 so as to adjust the length of each of the two bottom frames 1, so that the length of the foldable hammock can be adjusted easily and arbitrarily, thereby facilitating the user employing the foldable hammock.
  • Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
