- A conventional foldable hammock comprises a frame or stand, and a bed suspended on the frame. However, the frame has a fixed size, so that the length of the conventional foldable hammock is fixed and cannot be adjusted to satisfy the requirements of different users, thereby limiting the versatility of the conventional foldable hammock. In addition, the conventional foldable hammock is not available for a canopy, a swing chair, a foldable chair or the like, thereby decreasing the versatility of the conventional foldable hammock.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a foldable hammock, comprising two bottom frames, and two side frames each pivotally mounted on the bottom frames, wherein:
-
- each of the two bottom frames includes a fixed tube and two retractable tubes each retractably mounted on the fixed tube;
- each of the two retractable tubes of each of the two bottom frames has a first end retractably mounted in the fixed tube;
- each of the two side frames includes two upright rods each having a lower end pivotally mounted on a second end of a respective one of the two retractable tubes of each of the two bottom frames and an upper end provided with a protruding socket.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a foldable hammock that is available for a canopy, a soft bed, a swing chair, a foldable chair or the like, thereby greatly enhancing the versatility of the foldable hammock to facilitate a user operating the foldable hammock.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a foldable hammock that is operated easily and conveniently.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a foldable hammock, wherein each of the two retractable tubes of each of the two bottom frames is retractably mounted in the fixed tube so as to adjust the length of each of the two bottom frames, so that the length of the foldable hammock can be adjusted easily and arbitrarily, thereby facilitating the user employing the foldable hammock.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
