Abstract
A container includes a metallic hollow outer body, a transparent plate, a plastic inner containing body, and a depressible ejection assembly for ejecting contents of the inner containing body with; the outer body has an upper opening, and several through holes thereon, which are formed in such a manner that patterns, and characters are presented; a cover, which has a passage thereon, is joined to the upper end of the outer body; the transparent plate has bumps thereon, and is positioned next to an inward side of the outer body with the bumps being closely fitted in the through holes respectively; the plastic inner body is held in the metallic outer body; the inner containing body has an outlet portion on a top thereof; the depressible ejection assembly is positioned above the cover of the outer body, and connected to the outlet portion of the inner containing body.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a container having a depressible ejection member used for ejecting contents, more particularly one, which is made by means of integrating plastics and metal so as to be attractive and convenient to use.
- 2. Brief Description of the Prior Art
- Containers for shampoo, detergent, lotion etc. are usually formed with a cylindrical shape, and equipped with a depressible ejection member on the top such that the contents will be ejected when the depressible ejection member is depressed.
- Referring to
FIG. 5 , aconventional container 10 includes aplastic containing body 103, a plasticupper cover 102 fitted to an upper end of the containingbody 103, and a plasticdepressible ejecting assembly 101 joined to theupper cover 102 and communicating with inside of the containingbody 103 so that the contents will be ejected when thedepressible ejecting assembly 101 is depressed. - However, the
container 10 is only made of plastics by means of bottle blowing technique therefore it looks monotonous. Moreover, being made of plastics, which is very light in weight, thecontainer 10 is prone to fall over when it is hit or when the depressible ejecting assembly is repeatedly depressed for ejecting the contents. Therefore, the container is not convenient to use. - It is a main object of the present invention to provide such a container having a depressible ejection member used for ejecting contents that the above disadvantages are overcome.
- The container of the present invention includes a metallic hollow outer body, a transparent plate, a plastic inner containing body, and a depressible ejection assembly for ejecting contents of the inner containing body with. The outer body has several through holes thereon, which are formed in such a manner that patterns, and characters are presented. The transparent plate has bumps thereon, and is positioned next to an inward side of the outer body with the bumps being closely fitted in the through holes respectively. The plastic inner body is held in the metallic outer body. The depressible ejection assembly is positioned above an upper cover of the outer body, and connected to an outlet portion of the inner containing body. Thus, the present container is more steady and pleasant-looking than plastic ones, and people can see the contents of the inner body through the through holes and the transparent plates.
- The present invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 5 is a vertical section of the conventional container. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , apreferred embodiment 1 of a container in the present invention includes a metallicouter body 11, abottom part 12, a plasticinner containing body 13, anupper cover 14, adepressible ejection assembly 15, and severaltransparent plates 2. - The metallic
outer body 11 is hollow, and has upper and lower openings,several sides 111, and throughholes 112 on thesides 111. The throughholes 112 can be formed in such a manner that characters, patterns, drawings, trademarks etc. are presented on thesides 111 of the metallicouter body 11. In addition, the metallicouter body 11 is formed withengaging cavities 113 on an inward side of an upper end portion, andengaging cavities 114 on an inward side of a lower end portion thereof. - The
transparent plates 2 are positioned next to respective ones of inward sides of thesides 111 of the metallicouter body 11. Each of thetransparent plates 2 hasbumps 21 on an outward side thereof, whichbumps 21 are formed in such a manner as to fit throughholes 112 of thecorresponding side 111. Thus, thebumps 21 will be passed through the throughholes 112 to show when thetransparent plates 2 are fitted on the inward sides of the metallicouter body 11. In addition, thetransparent plates 2 are shorter than thesides 111 of the metallicouter body 11 so that they will be between theengaging cavities outer body 11 when they are fitted to theouter body 11, as shown inFIGS. 3 and 4 . - The
bottom part 12 is joined to the lower end of the metallicouter body 11 for sealing the lower opening of the same, and is formed with arecess surface 121 over an outward side of an upper end portion thereof, and engagingprotrusions 122 on therecess surface 121. - The plastic
inner containing body 13 is held in the metallicouter body 11 for containing liquid therein, and has anoutlet portion 131 on a top thereof. - The
upper cover 14 has apassage 143 on a top, arecess surface 141 over an outward side of a lower end portion thereof, and engagingprotrusions 142 on therecess surface 141. Theupper cover 14 is joined to the upper end of the metallicouter body 11 with the recess-formed lower end portion being closely fitted in the upper end of theouter body 11, and with theoutlet portion 131 of the plasticinner containing body 13 being passed through thepassage 143 thereof. - The
depressible ejection assembly 15 is positioned above theupper cover 14, and connected to theoutlet portion 131 of the plastic inner containingbody 13, and is made such that the contents of the plastic inner containingbody 13 will be ejected through it when it is depressed. - In assembling the container, referring to FIGS. 2 to 4, first the
bottom part 12 is tightly fitted in the lower end of theouter body 11 at the recess-formed upper end thereof with theengaging protrusions 122 being respectively fitted in theengaging cavities 113. Then, thetransparent plates 2 are positioned next to the inward sides thesides 111 of theouter body 11 with thebumps 21 being fitted in the throughholes 112 such that thebumps 21 are co-planar with the outward sides of thesides 111. Next, the plasticinner containing body 13 is positioned in theouter body 11, and theupper cover 14 is tightly fitted in the upper end of theouter body 11 at the recess-formed lower end thereof with theengaging protrusions 142 being respectively fitted in theengaging cavities 114, and with theoutlet portion 131 of the innerplastic containing body 13 being passed through thepassage 143. Then, thedepressible ejection assembly 15 is positioned above theupper cover 14, and connected to theoutlet portion 131. - Furthermore, another metallic outer body, which has a sealed bottom as well as an upper opening, can be used instead of both the above metallic
outer body 11 and theabove bottom part 12. - From the above description, it can be easily understood that the container of the present invention has the following advantages:
- 1. The container will be more pleasant-looking and more desirable than the conventional container, which is only made of plastics by means of bottle blowing technique, because of the metallic
outer body 11, the throughholes 112 of theouter body 11 as well as thebumps 21 of thetransparent plates 2 that can be characters, patterns, drawings etc. - 2. People can see the contents of the container through the through
holes 112 and thetransparent plates 2. - 3. Because the
outer body 11 is made of metal, which is heavier than plastics, the present container is more steady, and won't fall over as easily as the conventional one when being subjected to external force.
Claims (6)
1. A container, comprising
a metallic hollow outer body having an opening at an upper end thereof; the outer body being formed with a plurality of through holes thereon, which are formed in such a manner that patterns are presented;
a transparent plate having a plurality of bumps thereon; the transparent plate being positioned next to an inward side of the metallic hollow outer body with the bumps being closely fitted in, and passed through the through holes of the outer body respectively;
a plastic inner containing body held in the metallic outer body; the inner containing body having an outlet portion on a top thereof;
an upper cover having a passage on a top thereof; the upper cover being secured on the upper end of the outer body with the outlet portion of the inner containing body being passed through the passage thereof; and
a depressible ejection assembly for ejecting contents of the inner containing body with; the depressible ejection assembly being positioned above the upper cover, and connected to the outlet portion of the inner containing body.
2. The container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the upper cover has a recess surface formed over an outward side of a lower end portion thereof, and is connected to the outer body with the recess-formed lower end portion being closely fitted in the upper end of the outer body.
3. The container as claimed in claimed 2, wherein the upper cover has a plurality of engaging protrusions on the recess surface thereof, and the outer body has a plurality of engaging cavities on the inward side thereof for the engaging protrusions to be fitted therein.
4. The container as claimed in claimed 1, wherein the metallic outer body has an opening at a lower end thereof, and a bottom part is joined to the lower end of the outer body to seal the lower opening.
5. The container as claimed in claimed 4, wherein the bottom part has a recess surface formed over an outward side of an upper end portion thereof, and is connected to the outer body with the recess-formed upper end portion being closely fitted in the lower end of the outer body.
6. The container as claimed in claimed 5, wherein the bottom part has a plurality of engaging protrusions on the recess surface thereof, and the outer body has a plurality of engaging cavities on the inward side thereof for the engaging protrusions to be fitted therein.
