Abstract

What is new is the innovation of attaching the spikes/cleats into the midsole and creating a multiple use shoe. By placing the cleat/spike attachment in the midsole this allows the shoe to be worn and played in without the spikes/cleats. Thereby, promoting the shoe as sport specific, versatile and casual.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The specialization of sport shoes i.e. football, soccer, baseball, and basketball has drawn the invention of a multiple sport shoe with a THORO SOLE.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The human foot is unique and highly functional. Our main goal is to design shoes that work with the foot, not against it, to help athletes in all sports achieve their highest level of performance. The Thoro-sole reduces the need of different shoes for each sport, by solving previous existing problems.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • A. Spikes/Cleats attach to the inner plate(s) with a screw or lock system and are detachable. Detachable Cleats/Spikes—Shoes with studs that are designed to screw in or out so that they can be easily replaced. This allows player to use the optimal stud for different field conditions.
  • B. (1) Sockliner—A very soft foam insert that adds plenty of comfort and relieves cleat/spike pressure with lightweight cushioning. (2) Plate(s) provide stiffness and is used for soccer, football, and baseball cleats/spikes attachment. Plate(s) are injected, molded or poured. (3) Midsole—Part of the shoe located between the upper and outsole. It provides the bed your foot rests on, cushioning the ride and cradling the foot. BLOW MOLDED—Manufacturing process where Urethane material is forced into a mold using high pressure. Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) midsoles are die-cut. (4) Rubber Outsole—Refers to the high traction sole used on court and general wear shoes. AUTOCLAVE—Rubber outsoles are usually cured in a press under high temperature and pressure conditions.
  • C. Same as above

Claims (3)
