Abstract

The invention herein relates to a dual strap, adjustable according to user's preference, used to carry a golf bag and mainly consisting in a connecting belt. An upper part of the connecting belt symmetrically holds a pair of shoulder straps, whereas a bottom part thereof holds a pair of support straps. Each open end of the strap extended from the connecting belt is tied to a golf bag. Moreover, a pivot disposed on the shoulder strap joining the connecting belt includes a fixed element and a button, wherein, a round eye-let formed on the fixed element is thereby allowed a revolving part and a pair of embedding holes formed on the button to be fitted therein. When carrying a golf bag, the shoulder strap can be adjusted and positioned to any desired angle comfortably by the user.

Description

BACKGROUNG OF THE INVENTION

a) Field of the Invention
The invention herein relates to a dual strap adjustable to user's preference for carrying a golf bag; more specifically to a dual strap whereon shoulder straps can be positioned at any desired angle allowing the user to comfortably carry the golf bag on his back.
b) Description of the Prior Art
Referring to FIG. 1, most conventional dual straps 1 used to carry a golf bag mainly comprise a pair of symmetrical shoulder straps 11, wherein, a bottom end thereof is tied to a set of support straps 13. The other end of the shoulder straps 11 and support straps 13 are respectively fastened to a golf bag 14. Therefore thanks to the dual strap 1, the user can carry the golf bag 14 on his back.
However, the design of the golf bag's conventional dual strap 1 is fixed, there is no way to adjust the angle formed by the strap 1. So, the shoulder straps 11 can only take a sole position on the shoulders and no adjustment can be made by turning the shoulder straps 11 to a comfortable angle while carrying the golf bag 14. Therefore, the user's shoulders can feel very uncomfortable; this can even put inappropriate pressures on the shoulder and result in muscle injuries.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The invention is to provide a dual strap having a connecting belt. An upper part of the connecting belt symmetrically holds a pair of shoulder straps, whereas a bottom part thereof holds a pair of support straps. With respect to the shoulder straps and the support straps, each open end opposite to the connecting belt thereof are tied to a golf bag. Moreover, each shoulder strap is pegged on the connecting belt thanks to a pivot. Each pivot consists of a fixed element and a button. The fixed element, being disposed corresponding to the shoulder strap, holds a round eye-let whereby fastening the button. A rim of the eye-let is formed by a plurality of adjacent notches in shape. After the button and the connecting belt being fastened together, the button can then revolve inside the eye-let. A circumference of the button presents at least one springy part with a cog thereon. When the shoulder strap is turned to the desired angle, the springy parts push the cog into one of the notches thereby enabling the shoulder strap being turned and fixed to any desired angle. Therefore, the user can adjust the shoulder straps by turning them in a position where he feels most comfortable carrying the golf bag. The invention herein reaches the objective of adapting to any morphology, thus eliminating the drawbacks of previous designs.
To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the invention consists of a dual strap 2, which is adjustable to allow the user to comfortably carry a golf bag 24. The dual strap 2 mainly comprises a connecting belt 21 having an upper part symmetrically holds a pair of shoulder straps 22 whereas a bottom part forming a pair of support straps 23 thereof. Each open end of both shoulder straps 22 and both support straps 23 extended from the connecting belt 21 is tied to a golf bag 24. Therefore, the user can carry the golf bag 24 on his back thanks to the dual strap 2.
Moreover, referring to FIG. 3-FIG. 6, each shoulder strap 22 is pegged on the connecting belt 21 using a pivot 30. Each pivot 30 consists of a fixed element 31 and a button 32. The fixed element 31, being embedded in corresponding shoulder strap 22, which has a round eye-let 33 formed whereby fastening the button 32. A rim of the round eye-let 33 is formed by a plurality of adjacent notches 34 in shape.
Besides, each button 32, being disposed on the connecting belt 21, holds a revolving part 321. Half way up to a front side of each button 32, a pair of embedding holes 322 has been symmetrically drilled thereon. Between the shoulder strap 22 and the fixed element 31, is sandwiched a connective element 323, wherein, two embedding counterparts 324 are formed on the connective element 323 matching exactly the embedding holes 322 of the button 32. The button 32 and the connective element 323 can be fastened by going through the embedding holes 322 and the embedding counterparts 324. Therefore, the button 32 can be turned by fitting into the round eye-let 33 of the fixed element 31. Moreover, a circumference of the revolving part 321 of the button 32 presents at least one springy part 325 with a protruding cog 327 thereby fitting the notches 34. When the shoulder strap 22 is turned to any desired angle, the springy part 325 pushes the cog 327 into one of the notches 34 thus fixing an appropriate angle.
In this way, referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 7, when carrying the golf bag 24 on the user's back, the user can make adjustments according to his preference, by turning the shoulder straps 22 to a certain angle where he feels most comfortable.
It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.

Claims

1. An adjustable golf bag dual strap comprising:

a connecting belt, having an upper part symmetrically holds a pair of shoulder straps whereas a bottom part forming a pair of support straps thereof; each open end of both shoulder straps and both support straps extended from the connecting belt being tied to a golf bag thereby enabling carrying purpose;

a pivot, disposed on the shoulder strap joining the connecting belt having a fixed element and a button; the fixed element being connected corresponding to the shoulder strap; a round eye-let formed on the fixed element being fastened with the button; a rim of the round eye-let being formed with a plurality of adjacent notches in shape thereof; the button having a revolving part with a pair of embedding holes symmetrically formed thereon and further disposed on the connecting belt; a connective element having two embedding counterparts being sandwiched between the shoulder strap and the fixed element, wherein, the two embedding counterparts matching exactly the embedding holes of the button thereby fastening the button and the connective element by going through the embedding holes and the embedding counterparts thereof; the button being turned by fitting into the round eye-let of the fixed element; a circumference of the revolving part of the button having at least one springy part with a protruding cog thereon; the springy part pushing the protruding cog into one of the notches thereby enabling the shoulder strap being turned and fixed to any desired and comfortable angle when carrying a golf bag.
