Abstract

Pin 12 is for sliding through one of holes in a belt loop on pants or short pants and closed in 14 to hold in place. Pin 16 moves out of 18 at one end to put through a hole in a baseball cap or tag on a cotton or wool hat. Pin 16 shuts into 18 to hold hat. 22 closes over a belt and snaps to 20 to hold hat hanger to belt. Pin 26 moves out of 24 and goes through a hole in baseball cap strap or tag on a cotton or wool hat. Pin 26 is closed into 24 to hold hat in place. When hat is hanging freely off the waist of a person the hat holder is short enough so hat doesn't touch the ground when person is standing, walking or sitting in a chair.

    DESCRIPTION—FIGS. 1 TO 3
  • FIG. 1 is a front view of invention when looking at a persons side. The hat hanger has a holder 18 with a pin 16 attached to it at one end. The other end of pin 16 is not attached to holder 18. 16 and 18 are similar to a safety pin. 16 opens and closes at one end as moved while attached to 18 at other end. Strap 10 connects to 18 and 14. 10 is short enough so when hat is attached to wearable hat hanger and hanging freely hat doesn't touch the ground. 12 and 14 are similar to 16 and 18. Pin 12 attaches to holder 14. 12 opens and closes at one end while attached to 14 at the other end.
  • FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 are two views of a drawing of invention. 20 and 22 attach to a belt worn around the waist of a person. 20 is on one side of belt while 22 snaps to secure hat holder to belt. Strap 28 connects on one end to 20 and on the other end connects to holder 24. Pin 26 is attached at one end to 24 and at the other end opens and closes from 24. 24 and 26 are similar to a safety pin. Hat hanger is short enough so when hat is attached to wearable hat hanger and hanging freely hat doesn't touch the ground.
  • OPERATION—FIGS. 1,2,3
  • FIG. 1 is a drawing of a short lengh wearable hat hanger. Pin 12 and holder 14 is similar to a safety pin. Pin 16 and holder 18 is also similar to a safety pin. Pin 12 moves out of holder 14 at one end and is put through a belt loop on a pair of pants and then pin 12 is moved back in 14 closing. This secures hat holder to pants. Pin 16 is moved out of 18 but still connected at one end to holder 18. Pin 16 is put through a hole on one of straps on a baseball hat or tag on a cotton or wool hat. Pin 16 is closed by moving back into holder 18. Strap 10 connects to holder 14 and holder 18. Hat is then hanging on side of a waistline freely.
  • FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 are drawings of a short lengh wearable hat hanger that would attach to a belt at one end and a hat at the other end. 20 is put on interior of belt and 22 closes over belt and is snapped on. Strap 28 connects from 20 to 24. 30 is strap connected to holder 24. Pin 26 and holder 24 are similar to a almost roundish safety pin. Pin 26 moves out of holder 24 at one end and at the other end is still attached to holder 24. Pin 26 is slid through one of the holes in a baseball cap strap or through the tag on a cotton or wool hat. Pin 26 is closed by moving back in holder 24. Hat is afterwards hanging on the side of the waistline of a person freely.
  • Although the description contains many specificities, these should not be construed as limiting the scope of the invention but as merely providing illustrations of some of the presently preferred embodiments of this invention.
  • Thus the scope of the invention should be determined by the appended claims and their legal equivalents, rather than by the examples given.
  • SUMMARY, RAMIFICATIONS, AND SCOPE
  • Accordingly, the reader will see that the short lengh wearable hat hanger can be worn easily and conviently, can be removed from a hat, belt loop or belt easily and a hat will not touch the ground when hat hanger is worn with a hat attached.
