Abstract

A golf club head has a bottom face having a periphery formed with an arc-shaped face. The bottom face of the golf club head has a center formed with a receiving recess for receiving an elastic bushing. The receiving recess has a determined slope and has a width slightly greater than the diameter of the golf ball. Thus, the golf club head can be used to pick up the golf ball, so that the user can directly pick up the golf ball without needing to bow, thereby facilitating the user picking up the golf ball.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a golf club head, and more particularly to a golf club head that can be used to pick up the golf ball.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • A conventional golf club comprises a golf club head for striking the golf ball. However, when the golf ball is hit into the hole, the golfer has to bow deeply to pick up the golf ball from the hole, thereby causing inconvenience to the golfer. In addition, the golfer's hand is easily dirtied by the mud in the hole.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantage of the conventional golf club head.
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a golf club head that can be used to pick up the golf ball.
  • Another objective of the present invention is to provide a golf club head, wherein the user can directly pick up the golf ball without needing to bow, thereby facilitating the user picking up the golf ball.
  • In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a golf club head, comprising:
      • a bottom face having a periphery formed with an arc-shaped face;
      • the bottom face of the golf club head having a center formed with a receiving recess for receiving an elastic bushing made of rubber material;
      • the receiving recess having a determined slope; and
      • the receiving recess having a width slightly greater than a diameter of the golf ball.
  • Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a golf club head in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a plan cross-sectional assembly view of the golf club head as shown in FIG. 1;
  • FIG. 3 is a schematic operational view of the golf club head as shown in FIG. 2 in use;
  • FIG. 4 is a schematic operational view of the golf club head as shown in FIG. 2 in use; and
  • FIG. 5 is a schematic perspective operational view of the golf club head in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-3, a golf club 10 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a golf club head 20 having a bottom face having a periphery formed with an arc-shaped face 201.
  • The bottom face of the golf club head 20 has a center formed with a receiving recess 21 for receiving an elastic bushing 30 made of rubber material.
  • The receiving recess 21 has a determined slope, and the slope of the receiving recess 21 is ranged between 4 degrees and 12 degrees. Preferably, the optimum slope of the receiving recess 21 is equal to 8 degrees.
  • As shown in FIG. 3, the width of the receiving recess 21 is slightly greater than the diameter of the golf ball 40.
  • The golf club head 20 has an inside formed with a plurality of transverse holes 22 each communicating with the receiving recess 21 for adjusting the weight of the golf club head 20.
  • As shown in FIG. 3, the golf club head 20 is pressed on the golf ball 40, and the golf ball 40 is inserted into the receiving recess 21 of the golf club head 20, so that the golf club head 20 can be used to pick up the golf club head 20. At this time, the bushing 30 is compressed and deformed to clamp the golf ball 40 rigidly.
  • As shown in FIG. 5, the golf club head 20 is inverted with the receiving recess 21 of the golf club head 20 facing upward, so that the golf ball 40 can be removed from the receiving recess 21 of the golf club head 20 by the user. Thus, the user can directly pick up the golf ball 40 without needing to bow, thereby enhancing the efficiency of picking up the golf ball 40.
  • As shown in FIG. 4, when the golf ball 40 is placed in the hole 50, the golf club head 20 can be placed into the hole 50 to pick up the golf ball 40 by guidance of the arc-shaped face 201, thereby facilitating the user picking up the golf ball 40.
  • Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
