Abstract
The present invention relates to an engaging structure of an auto-umbrella. The engaging structure includes a sleeve having an upper arched slice and a side metal piece for providing double elastic force to guide the engaging head moved sideward and positioned with the shaft. The umbrella can be then operated normally and effectively.
Description
- The present invention relates to an engaging structure of an auto-umbrella, which ensure a positioning effect with the engaging head in the shaft of the umbrella.
- In an auto-umbrella, an engaging head must be provided in the shaft of the umbrella, wherein the engaging head can be engaged when the shaft is pressed and shortened for ready to be used. As shown in FIG. 1 to3, the engaging structure of a conventional auto-umbrella includes a metal elastic slice (2) having an upper inclined portion (21), which is placed in the shaft (1). When to press and shorten the shaft (1) of the umbrella, the engaging head (3) is moved alone the inclined portion (21) downward and sideward and then is engaged with an aperture (11) on the shaft (1). As pressing a button (41) of a handle (4) of the umbrella, the head (3) can be released from the aperture (11) and the umbrella can be opened or closed automatically. It is very trouble to assemble this known elastic slice (2) in the shaft (1). The resilience of the elastic slice (2) will be lost soon after a period of time that makes the engaging head can not be positioned and the umbrella is out of use.
- Accordingly, the primary object of the invention is to provide an improved engaging structure, which includes a sleeve having an arched slice and a metal piece to provide a perfect elastic effect for positioning the engaging head. The sleeve can be received in the shaft easy that obtains an obvious improvement.
- Now the features and advantages of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
- FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional plan view of a conventional auto-umbrella showing the engaging structure.
- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional plan view of FIG. 1 showing the engaging head being engaged.
- FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional plan view of FIG. 2 showing the engaging head being released from aperture of the shaft.
- FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the shaft and the engaging structure according to the present invention.
- FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing a sleeve in another angle of FIG. 4.
- FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view of FIG. 5.
- FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional plan view showing the engaging head being positioned with aperture of the shaft according to the present invention.
- FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional plan view showing the engaging head being released of FIG. 7.
- Please firstly referring to FIG. 4 to6, the present invention relates to an engaging structure of an auto-umbrella. The engaging structure includes a sleeve (5), which is provided with an upper arched slice (51) and a side metal piece (52). The assembled structure can be received in the shaft (1) very easily.
- After assembly, when to press and shorten the umbrella or the shaft, the engaging head (3) can be moved alone the arched slice (51) and moved sideward to be positioned with the aperture (11) of the shaft (1), as shown in FIG. 7. And when to press the button (41), the head (3) will be released from the aperture (11), as shown in FIG. 8 and the umbrella can be operated automatically.
- According to the description above, the present invention includes the arched slice (51) and the metal piece (52), which can provide a best double elastic force to ensure the head being engaged. Moreover, the assembly of the sleeve (5) will be very easy that obtains utility and improvement.
Claims (1)
1. An engaging structure of an auto-umbrella including a sleeve received in a shaft of the umbrella, wherein the sleeve is provided with an upper arched slice and a side metal piece that ensures the engaging head being positioned with an aperture on the shaft when the shaft is pressed and shortened.
