Abstract
A retracting roller module for skating shoes is disclosed, and the retracting roller module comprises a base seat, a positioning shaft, a front roller module and a rear roller module pivotally mounted onto the shaft, and a control mechanism for controlling the retracting and extending of the front and rear roller module, characterized in that the front section of the lateral plate of the base seat is mounted with the positioning shaft which mounts a rear roller support frame, rubber rim, a side linear, a middle linear, and a front roller support frame, and the rear roller support frame and the front roller support frame are pivotally mounted onto a shaft hole of the lateral side plate, and the middle section of the lateral side plate is provided with guiding channel having a rear positioning hole and a front positioning hole, the guiding channel utilizes the driving rod of the control mechanism to mount a mechanical seal, a front interlink rod, an engaging block, a rear interlink rod, a control rod and an extension spring and a specific screw nut is used for positioning thereto, thereby the outward pulling of the control rod will retract the front and rear roller and the pulling and rear pushing of the control rod extends the front and rear roller module.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to structure of a retracting roller module, and in particularly, a retracting roller module used in skating shoes, which allows a rapid retraction when not in use and extension when in use.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- FIG. 1 shows the structure of retracting and extendible roller module for ice-skating shoes, wherein the
bottom plate 11 of theshoe body 10 is provided with a plurality ofpositioning holes 12 andscrews 13 are used to mount with thesliding roller seat 20 of theshoe sole cavity 14. Thesliding roller seat 20 includes abase seat 21 and apivot seat 22 andshaft holes 211 are provided at the wall of thebase seat 21 for the pivotal connection of thepivot seat 22 of thepivoting member 23. Thehorizontal rod 221 of thebase seat 21 is anelastic element 26 having one end being positioned, and the other end of theelastic element 26 is positioned at thebase seat 21. The rotating of thepivotal seat 22 causes theelastic element 26 to extend or to close and thepivotal seat 22 is rotatable about thebase seat 21. Thepivotal seat 22 is pivotally connected to theroller 25 such that theroller 25 is protruded externally, or thepivot sat 22 is retracted into thecavity 14 to form an athletic shoes. However, the extension and retraction have to be done manually and therefore this is not convenient. As a result, it is an object of the present invention to provide a retracting roller module for skating shoes which mitigates the above drawback. - Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide retracting roller module for skating shoes having a base seat, a positioning shaft, a front roller module and a rear roller module pivotally mounted onto the shaft, and a control mechanism for controlling the retracting and extending of the front and rear roller module, characterized in that the front section of the lateral plate of the base seat is mounted with the positioning shaft which mounts a rear roller support frame, rubber rim, a side linear, a middle linear, and a front roller support frame, and the rear roller support frame and the front roller support frame are pivotally mounted onto a shaft hole of the lateral side plate, and the middle section of the lateral side plate is provided with guiding channel having a rear positioning hole and a front positioning hole, the guiding channel utilizes the driving rod of the control mechanism to mount a mechanical seal, a front interlink rod, an engaging block, a rear interlink rod, a control rod and an extension spring and a specific screw nut is used for positioning thereto, thereby the outward pulling of the control rod will retract the front and rear roller and the pulling and rear pushing of the control rod extends the front and rear roller module. retracting roller module for skating shoes having a base seat, a positioning shaft, a front roller module and a rear roller module pivotally mounted onto the shaft, and a control mechanism for controlling the retracting and extending of the front and rear roller module, characterized in that the front section of the lateral plate of the base seat is mounted with the positioning shaft which mounts a rear roller support frame, rubber rim, a side linear, a middle linear, and a front roller support frame, and the rear roller support frame and the front roller support frame are pivotally mounted onto a shaft hole of the lateral side plate, and the middle section of the lateral side plate is provided with guiding channel having a rear positioning hole and a front positioning hole, the guiding channel utilizes the driving rod of the control mechanism to mount a mechanical seal, a front interlink rod, an engaging block, a rear interlink rod, a control rod and an extension spring and a specific screw nut is used for positioning thereto, thereby the outward pulling of the control rod will retract the front and rear roller and the pulling and rear pushing of the control rod extends the front and rear roller module.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a retraction roller module for skating shoes, wherein the inner side of the rear roller housing is a spaced ring provided with recess for the positioning at the protruded teeth at the lateral plate in the course of retraction of the roller module.
- Other objects, advantages, and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

- Referring to FIGS.2 to 6, there is shown the structure of the retracting roller module for skating shoes comprising a
hollow base seat 30, afront roller module 50 and arear roller module 50 pivotally mounted onto apositioning shaft 40 and acontrol mechanism 70 which can control the retraction and extension of thefront roller module 50 and therear roller module 60. Thebase seat 30 comprises alateral side plate 31, a frontpartitioned tube 32, a rear partitionedtube 33, abottom heel section 34, and a center partitionedplate 35. The components are locked by usingscrew 36 to form as a hollow body. - The front section of the
lateral side plate 31 is provided with ashaft hole 311, and a long guidingchannel 312 at the middle section thereof, and the rear end of the guidingchannel 312 is provided with apositioning hole 313 and the front section is provided with afront positioning hole 314 and the external side is provided with aprotruded teeth 315. - The front partitioned
tube 32 is mounted to the front throughhole 316 of the twolateral side plate 31 by means ofscrew rod 321,sealing ring 322, andscrew 323. - The rear
partitioned plate 33 is mounted between the rear section of the twolateral side plates 31 and thevertical hole 331 thereof is used for the mounting of abraking body 37. - The
bottom heel section 34 is mounted at the rear section of the twolateral side plate 31 for use as walking heel section when thefront roller 53 and therear roller 63 are being retracted. - The middle
partitioned plate 35 covers the top of the twolateral side plate 31, and thepositioning shaft 40 mounts in sequence with thepositioning shaft rod 41, arubber rim 42, alateral liner 43, and a middle linear 44, and thepositioning shaft rod 41 passes through the front throughhole 612 of the rearroller support frame 61 and then is mounted with therubber rim 42,lateral liner 43, and the middle linear 44 and theshaft hole 511 of the front roller support frame is pivotally mounted at theshaft hole 311 of the twolateral side plate 31. - The
rubber rim 42 is used as shock absorbing body for the frontroller support frame 51 and the rearroller support frame 61. - The
front roller module 50 comprises the frontroller support frame 51, thefront interlink rod 52, and thefront roller 53. - The middle
section shaft hole 511 of the frontroller support frame 51 is in sequence mounted with a lateral side linear 43 and arubber rim 42 and thepositioning shaft rod 41 is pivotally mounted to theshaft hole 311 of thelateral side plate 31. The side of theshaft hole 511 is provided with top throughhole 512 and the bottom throughhole 513. The top throughhole 512 uses arivet 54, aninner tube 55 and apartitioned tube 56 to connect one end of thefront inter4link rod 52 to form an actuating knot hinge connection section. The bottom throughhole 513 uses abolt 57, anexternal mounting tube 58 and a partitionedtube 59 for pivotally thefront roller 53 having abearing 531. The plate surface of thefront interlink rod 52 is provided with a long throughhole 521 and the throughhole 521 makes use of the engaging block and thedriving rod 71 to pivotally mount to therear positioning hole 313 of thelateral side plate 31. The other end thereof is provided with athrough hole 522 so that therivet 54, theinner tube 55 and thepartitioned tube 56 and the throughhole 512 of the top end of the frontroller support frame 51 are connected to for a rotatable hinge section. - The
rear roller module 60 comprises a rearroller support frame 61,rear interlink rod 62, and therear roller 63. - The middle
section shaft hole 611 utilizes a linear 64 and a screw to pivotally mount at the threadedhole 621 of therear interlink rod 62 to form an actuating hinge section. The ttvo lateral sides of theshaft hole 611 are provided with a front throughhole 612 and a rear throughhole 613, and the front throughhole 612 utilizes thepositioning shaft rod 41 and the frontroller support frame 51 to pivotally mount at therubber rim 42 of theshaft hole 311 at thelateral side plate 31. The rear throughhole 613 utilizes anothershaft bolt 66, the external linear 67 and thepartitioned tube 68 to pivot to therear roller 63 having abearing 631. - The threaded
hole 621 is pivotally mounted to theshaft hole 611 by using the linear 64, thescrew 65 to form an actuating knot, and the top throughhole 622 uses thecontrol rod 74 to pivotally mount at thedriving shaft 71. - The inner side of the housing of the
rear roller 63 is provided with partitioned ring having arecess 632 so that theprotruded teeth 315 will be positioned when therear roller 63 is retracted. - The
control mechanism 70 comprises adriving rod 71, amechanical seal 72, anengaging block 73, acontrol rod 74, anextension spring 75, and aspecific screw nut 76. - The
driving rod 71 facing the two end is respective mounted with amechanical seal 72, the long throughhole 521 of thefront interlink rod 52, theengaging block 73, therear positioning hole 313 of thelateral plate 31, thethrough hole 622 of therear interlink rod 62, thecontrol rod 74 and theextendible spring 75, and aspecific screw nut 76 is used for locking. - The inner side of the
engaging block 73 is provided with aprotruding member 731 for the mounting of the long throughhole 521, the external side of the protrudedelement 731 is mounted in to the guidingchannel 312. The external middleengaging slot 733 is for the mounting of thecontrol rod 74. Thecontrol rod 74 is a multi-staged hollow tube body mounted to thedriving rod 71, and onefront end 741 passes through thethrough hole 622, and therear positioning hole 313, theengaging slot 733, and theinner hole 742 thereof is for the mounting of theextendible spring 75. Aspecific screw nut 76 is used for locking and thecontrol rod 74 can be moved to the side thereof. - The
extendible spring 75 is positioned at thedriving rod 71 and the external end is positioned using aspecific screw nut 76, and the inner end urges thecontrol rod 74. - Referring to FIG. 3 and FIGS.7 to 10, when the front and
rear roller control rod 74 are pulled outward, so that thefront end 741 disengaged from theengaging slot 733 and therear positioning hole 313 of thelateral plate 31. The twocontrol rod 74 are pushed forward, and the protrudingmember 732 moved forward along the guidingchannel 312, and thefront end 741 pushes therear interlink rod 62 to move forward so that therear interlink rod 62 pulls the rearroller support frame 61 and therear roller 63 thereon is gradually retracted backward. Therecess 632 of the housing of therear roller 63 is engaged with theprotruded teed 315 of thelateral plate 31 and position therear roller 63. The inner side protrudedmember 731 of theengaging block 73 pushes thefront interlink rod 52 to move forward. The front push of thefront interlink rod 52 pushes the frontroller support frame 53 so as to position theshaft rod 41 as the flexural point and thefront roller 53 is retracted. When theengaging block 73 reaches thefront positioning hole 314 of thelateral side plate 31, thecontrol rod 74 will be inserted into thefront positioning hole 314 of thelateral plate 31 and theengaging slot 733 of theengaging block 73 for locking in the course of retraction. - As shown in FIG. 2, when the two lateral sides of the
control rod 74 are pulled outward, and the twocontrol rods 74 are at the same time move backward, the front andrear rollers - While the invention has been described with respect to preferred embodiment, it will be clear to those skilled in the art that modifications and improvements may be made to the invention without departing from the spirt and scope of the invention. Therefore, the invention is not to be limited by the specific illustrative embodiment, but only by the scope of the appended claims.
Claims (10)
1. A retracting roller module for skating shoes having a base seat, a positioning shaft, a front roller module and a rear roller module pivotally mounted onto the shaft, and a control mechanism for controlling the retracting and extending of the front and rear roller module, characterized in that the front section of the lateral plate of the base seat is mounted with the positioning shaft which mounts a rear roller support frame, rubber rim, a side linear, a middle linear, and a front roller support frame, and the rear roller support frame and the front roller support frame are pivotally mounted onto a shaft hole of the lateral side plate, and the middle section of the lateral side plate is provided with guiding channel having a rear positioning hole and a front positioning hole, the guiding channel utilizes the driving rod of the control mechanism to mount a mechanical seal, a front interlink rod, an engaging block, a rear interlink rod, a control rod and an extension spring and a specific screw nut is used for positioning thereto, thereby the outward pulling of the control rod will retract the front and rear roller and the pulling and rear pushing of the control rod extends the front and rear roller module.
2. The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein the positioning shaft is mounted with a rubber rim for use as shock absorbing elastic body between the front roller support frame and the rear roller support frame.
3. The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein the inner side of the rear roller housing is a spaced ring provided with recess for the positioning at the protruded teeth at the lateral plate in the course of retraction of the roller module.

The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein the front interlink rod is provided with a long through hole and an engaging block and a driving rod are pivotally mounted to the rear positioning hole of the lateral plate, and the front end of the lateral plate is provided with a through hole so as to connect an inner tube, spaced tube and the upper end of the front roller support frame to the through hole using rivet so that a relatable hinge connection is obtained.

The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein a threaded hole at the bottom section of the rear interlink rod utilizes a linear and screw to form an actuating knot at the shaft hole of the middle section of the rear roller support frame, and the through hole thereon has a control rod passed through and pivotally mounted at the driving rod.

The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein the two ends of the driving rod of the control mechanism is mounted in sequence with a mechanical seal, front interlink rod, an engaging block, a lateral plate, a rear interlink rod, a control rod and an extension spring and is then locked with a specific screw nut.

The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein the inner side of the engaging block is provided with a protruding element for supporting the long through hole of the front interlink rod, and the external lateral side thereof is provided with a protruding piece for the mounting of the guiding channel of the lateral plate, and the center of the external side is provided with the engaging slot for the mounting of the control rod.

The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein the control rod is mounted onto the driving rod such that a fore end passes through the through hole of the rear interlink rod and the rear positioning hole of the lateral side plate and the engaging slot of the engaging block, and the inner hole thereof is mounted with extension spring, and a specific screw nut is used for locking such that the control rod is being moveable to the sides.
9. The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein the rear partitioned plate is mounted between the rear section of two lateral side plates, and the vertical hole is used for the mounting of a braking body.
10. The retracting roller module for skating shoes of claim 1 , wherein the bottom heel section at the rear section of the two lateral side plates is used as the walking heel section in the course of retraction of the front roller and the rear roller.
