Abstract
A wind hole base of a ventilator for an air conditioner includes a wind hole base provided with at least one wind outlet. At least one swing member is pivotally fitted inside the wind outlet to be driven by a drive device to swing automatically, and a wind pipe is connected with the wind outlet. Thus, the drive device drives the swing member to swing to and fro so as to adjust the angle and the direction of wind blowing, able to enlarge a blowing area of cold air and having effect of cooling a room all over.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- This invention relates to a wind hole base of a ventilator for an air conditioner, particularly to one having a wind outlet pivotally fitted inside with at least one swing member controlled by a drive device to swing to and fro to adjust the angle and the direction of wind blowing, able to enlarge an area of wind blowing and having effect of cooling a room all over.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- The wind-releasing device of a conventional central air conditioning system installed on a light steel-
frame ceiling 10 includes a faceplate bored withplural wind outlets 11. Eachwind outlet 11 is provided inside with a plurality of wind guiders fixedly sloping to four sides so as to guide cold wind to blow in four directions, but these wind guiders cannot be adjusted to alter the angles of wind blowing. - Another wind releasing device of the conventional central air-conditioning system positioned on a ceiling is to have its
wind outlet 12 pivotally provided with a plurality ofwind guiders 13 arranged in a form of double-deck intersection, as shown in FIG. 2. Under this condition, in case of wishing to change the direction of wind blowing, a user has to turn the double-deck wind guiders 13 one by one with the help of a ladder, a chair, a table or the like, giving rise to much trouble in adjusting the directions of wind blowing and failing to cool a room all over. - The objective of the invention is to offer a wind-hole base of a ventilator for an air-conditioner, which has its wind outlet provided inside with at least one swing member driven by a drive device to swing to and fro automatically so as to adjust the angle and the direction of wind blowing, not only able to enlarge a blowing compass of cold air, but also having effect of cooling a room all over.
- The first feature of the invention is that a wind hole base has at least one wind outlet provided pivotally with at least one swing member in the interior for adjusting the directions of wind blowing. Further, the wind hole base is provided with at least one motor holder at a proper location on one side, at least one drive device connected with the swing member to drive the swing member to alter its swinging direction automatically, and a wind pipe holder assembled on the wind hole base, having at least one through opening for connecting a wind pipe.
- The second feature of the invention is that a wind hole base has at least one wind outlet provided pivotally with at least one swing member in the interior for adjusting the direction of wind blowing. Besides, the wind hole base is provided with at least one motor holder at a proper location on one side, at least one wind pipe connecter assembled on top, at least one through opening for connecting a wind pipe, and at least one drive device connected with the swing member for driving the swing member to change its swinging direction automatically.
- The third feature of the invention is that a wind hole base has at least one wind outlet connected with a wind pipe at its upper side and provided inside with more than two swing members having their backs facing each other, and at least one drive device connected with the swing members for driving them to change their swinging directions automatically.
- This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein;
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the wind outlet device of a conventional central air conditioning system installed on a light steel frame;
- FIG. 2 is another perspective view of the wind outlet device of a conventional central air conditioning system installed on a light steel frame;
- FIG. 3 is a an exploded perspective view of a first embodiment of a wind hole base in the present invention;
- FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the first embodiment of the wind hole device in the present invention;
- FIG. 5 is a side view of the first embodiment of the wind hole device, illustrating the swing members swinging to and fro in the present invention;
- FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view of a second embodiment of the wind hole base in the present invention;
- FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a third embodiment of the wind hole base in the present invention;
- FIG. 8 is a side-sectional view of the third embodiment of the wind hole base in the present invention;

- FIG. 10 is a side-sectional view of the fourth embodiment of the wind hole base, illustrating the swing members swinging in opposite directions in the present invention.
- A first preferred embodiment of a wind-hole device of a ventilator for an air-conditioner in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and5, includes a
wind hole base 2, adrive device 3, apipe holder 4 and at least oneswing member 21 as main components combined together. - The wind-
hole base 2 is provided inside with awind outlet 20 havingplural insert holes 200 respectively bored in the opposite sidewalls, pluralvertical separating plates 201 positioned in the interior and at least oneswing member 21 pivotally fitted inside for adjusting the direction of wind blowing. Theswing member 21 has apivotal shaft 210 protruding out on opposite outer sidewalls, conforming to theinsert hole 200 in the opposite sidewalls of the wind-outlet 20 and respectively having aninsert hole 211 in the center. The wind-hole base 2 has amotor holder 22 fixed at a proper location on one side and plural combiningholes 23 spaced apart in the top surface, and is paved with a thermo-maintainingmaterial 6. - The
drive device 3 is connected with theswing member 21, composed of amotor 30 threadably positioned on themotor holder 22 of thewind hole base 2. Themotor 30 has its spindle fitted with a transmittingrod 32 by means of afirst fit member 31, and the transmittingrod 32 has the other end connected with theswing member 21 by means of asecond fit member 33 for driving theswing member 21 to change its swinging direction automatically. Besides, the first and the second fit member have their outer ends respectively clasped firmly by aretaining ring 34 for preventing related components from slipping off. Additionally, the number of the transmittingrod 32 and thesecond fit member 33 of thedrive device 3 can be adjusted to conform to the number of theswing member 21 fitted inside thewind outlet 20. - The
wind pipe holder 4 to be threadably assembled on the wind-hole base 2 is bored with a plurality of combiningholes 40 spaced apart in the peripheral surface to be combined with the combiningholes 23 of the wind-hole base 2 bybolts 41. Further, thewind pipe holder 4 is formed with at least a through opening having anengage edge 42 on the inner wall. - In assembling and using, as shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and5, firstly, the
swing member 21 has its opposite protruding-outpivotal shafts 210 inserted correspondingly in theinsert holes 200 in the opposite sidewalls of thewind outlet 20. - Then, the
insert hole 211 of thepivotal shafts 210 of theswing member 21 is fitted with thesecond fit member 33 of thedrive device 3, and thesecond fit member 33 is pivotally assembled with the transmittingrod 32, which is pivotally connected with the spindle of themotor 30 by means of thefirst fit member 31. Thus, the transmittingrod 32 is driven by themotor 30 to actuate theswing member 21 to swing to and fro. - Subsequently, a
wind pipe 5 is fitted with the through opening 42 of thewind pipe holder 4, which is then assembled on the wind-hole base 2 bybolts 41 to finish assembly of thewind hole base 2, as shown in FIG. 4. After that, this wind-hole base is installed on the ceiling of a room. Thus, themotor 30 of thedrive device 3 starts to drive the transmittingrod 32 to actuate theswing member 21 to swing to and fro via thesecond fit member 33 and alter its swinging direction, as shown in FIG. 5, able to enlarge an area of wind blowing and having effect of cooling a room all over. - A second preferred embodiment of a wind-hole base of a ventilator for an air-conditioner in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 6, includes a wind-
hole base 2 provided inside with awind outlet 20 and at least oneswing member 21. Thewind outlet 20 is bored withplural insert holes 200 respectively in the opposite sidewalls for thepivotal shafts 21 of theswing member 21 to be inserted therein and pluralvertical separating plates 201 spaced apart in the interior. Theswing member 21 is driven by thedrive device 3 to adjust the angle and the direction of wind blowing, having a protruding-outpivotal shaft 210 with acenter insert hole 211 secured on the opposite ends. - The
drive device 3 consists of amotor 30, afirst fit member 31, a transmittingrod 32, asecond fit member 33 and aretaining ring 34. Thewind hole base 2 is disposed with amotor holder 22 at a proper location on one side for fixing themotor 30 of thedrive device 3, and awindpipe connector 24 on top having one or more throughopenings 240 matching with thewind outlet 20 of the wind-hole base 2 for connecting awindpipe 5. Besides, the wind-hole base 2 is paved with a thermo-maintainingmaterial 6. - A third embodiment of the wind hole base of a ventilator for an air conditioner in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, includes a
face plate 7 bored with one ormore wind holes 70 having awind hole base 2 disposed thereon. Thewind hole base 2 has itswind outlet 20 pivotally fitted inside withswing members 21 connected with adrive device 3 and driven to adjust direction of wind blowing, with thewind hole 70 of theface plate 7 communicating with thewind outlet 20 of thewind hole base 2. Thewind hole base 2 is connected with awindpipe 5 on top and paved with a thermo-preservingmaterial 6. Further, thewind hole base 2 and theface plate 7 can be respectively an independent component, as shown in FIG. 10, or are formed integral so as to match with indoor decoration, facilitating work in installation and having effect of cooling a room all over with quickness. - Specifically, the
wind outlet 20 of thewind hole base 2 can be provided inside with at least oneswing member 21, which, by means of asecond fit member 33 and a second transmittingrod 32 pivotally connected with afirst transmitting rod 32, can be connected with asecond swing member 21, with the twoswing members 21 driven to swing synchronously by thedrive device 3. - A fourth preferred embodiment of a wind hole base of a ventilator for an air conditioner in the present invention, is to have the two
swing members 21 disposed reverse to swing oppositely, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, and themotor 30 of thedrive device 3 is assembled on an outer sidewall of thewind hole base 2, corresponding to the ends of theswing members 21. Themotor 30 has its curved spindle fitted with afirst fit member 31 and inserted through the two transmittingrods 32, which have their other ends respectively extend outward and pivotally connected with the twoswing members 21 by means ofsecond fit members 33. The twoswing members 21 are positioned oppositely in order to enable them to send out cold wind in opposite directions and at different angles to enlarge an area of wind blowing. - While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
Claims (8)
1. A wind-hole base of a ventilator for an air conditioner comprising:
a wind-hole base provided with at least one wind outlet, said wind outlet having at least one swing member pivotally fitted in the interior, said swing member driven to adjust the directions of wind blowing, said wind hole base further fixed with at least one motor holder at a proper location of one side;
at least one drive device connected with said swing member, said drive device driving said swing member to swing and change its swinging direction automatically; and,
a wind pipe holder assembled on said wind hole base, said wind pipe holder bored with at least one through opening in an upper side for connecting a wind pipe.
2. A wind hole device of a ventilator for an air conditioner comprising:
a wind hole base provided with at least one wind outlet, at least one swing member pivotally fitted inside said wind outlet, said swing member driven to adjust the direction of wind blowing, at least one motor holder fixed at a proper location on one side of said wind hole base, one or more wind pipe connector assembled on said wind hole base, said wind pipe connector bored with at least one through opening for connecting a wind pipe; and,
at least one drive device connected with said swing member, said drive device driving said swing member to change its swinging direction automatically.
3. A wind-hole base of a ventilator for an air conditioner comprising a wind hole base, said wind hole base bored with at least one wind outlet, said wind outlet connected with a wind pipe on top, said wind outlet pivotally fitted with two or more swing members in the interior, said two swing members disposed back to back, at least one drive device connected with said swing members, said drive device driving said swing members to alter their swinging directions automatically, said swing members respectively swinging outward, said swing members respectively sending out cold wind in opposite directions and at different angles.
4. The wind hole base as claimed in claim 1 , 2 or 3, wherein said wind hole base is assembled on a face plate, and said face plate is bored with one or more wind holes, with said wind hole base assembled on said wind hole and said wind hole of said faceplate communicating with said wind outlet of said wind hole base.
5. The wind-hole base as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said wind hole base and said faceplate are respectively an independent component.
6. The wind hole device as claimed in claimed 4, wherein said wind hole base is formed integral with said faceplate.
7. The wind hole device as claimed in claim 1 , 2 or 3, wherein said drive device is composed of said motor, said first fit member, said transmitting rod, said second fit member and said retaining ring, with the number of said transmitting rod and said second fit member possible to be changed to conform to the number of said swing member installed inside said wind outlet.
8. The wind hole device as claimed in claim 1 , 2 or 3, wherein said wind hole base is paved with a thermo-preserving material.
