Abstract
A roller skate with generator comprises a tire, a fixture, and a sound and light system powered by a generator from the roller skate, electrically. The bottom end of the roller skate is formed with a pair of side walls for the tire to be mounted thereat. The generator comprises a magnetic ring and a corresponding inductive coil, and the improvement comprises a strut on the tire for a wheel axle to be inserted therein, and for the fixture and the generator to be sleeved thereon, the fixture has a hollow body to receive the inductive coil and locators, the side walls comprise locating devices on an inner side of the side walls to be engaged with the locaters for securing the fixture therein, thus when rolling the tire, the magnetic ring rolls simultaneously with respect to the inductive coil, and produces electricity.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- This invention relates to a roller skate with power generator, and more particular to a roller skate with sound and light effects.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- There are numerous roller skates in the market today, but these skates are designed only for rolling on the street or for the youngsters to do some figure-skate type rolling, which are not appropriate for all age riders, thus are not so attractive to users.
- A self-powered roller skate was later derived, which has mounted a generator on the wheel axle, the generator also includes a permanent magnetic ring and an inductive coil, and a number of lighting systems around the tire, and are connected to the generator, thus when rolling the tire, the permanent magnetic ring is activated to roll as well and generates electricity. However, this design is to provide electricity only when rolling the tire, and it only activates the lighting system, which has increased the attraction, but it still has only one function.
- In view of this, the inventor has derived the present invention, which is more attractive and has more changes.
- It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with sounding and lighting system, which has sound and light effects.
- It is another object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with sounding and lighting system, which is attractive to users.
- It is a further object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with sounding and lighting system, which is inexpensive in mass production.
- FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the present invention;
- FIG. 2 is a side elevation view, partially sectioned; and
- FIG. 3 is a front sectional view of the present invention.
- A roller skate with sounding and lighting system of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, comprises a
tire 1, afixture 2, and agenerator 3. Theroller skate 4 comprises a sounding andlighting system 43 connected to thegenerator 3, the sounding andlighting system 43 comprises LED lighting system and musical device. Thegenerator 3 comprises amagnetic ring 31 and aninductive coil 32. By rolling themagnetic ring 31 with respect to theinductive coil 32, theinductive coil 32 shall produce electricity supplied to the sounding andlighting system 43. - The
tire 1 has a pair ofrecesses 12 on respective sides of thewheel 11, and astrut 13 at the center portion for awheel axle 5 to be inserted therein. - The
fixture 2 comprises abase 21, and acover 22. Thebase 21 is a bowl shape with one open side and one enclosed side, the enclosed side of thebase 21 comprises ahole 211 at the center portion, and anotch 212 on the edge of the open side. Thecover 22 has arib 221 extending from the edge of thecover 22, corresponding to thenotch 212 of thebase 21, a pair oflocators 222 extending from one side, and asleeve 223 at the center portion thereof. - The
roller skate 4 extends a pair ofside walls 41 downwardly, with a pair of locatingdevices 42 on one of theinner side walls 41. The locatingdevices 42 are corresponding to thelocators 222 of thecover 22. - To assemble the present invention, please refer to FIGS. 2 and 3, the
inductive coil 32 is placed into thebase 21 of thefixture 2 and sealed with thecover 22, whereas therib 221 will engage and slide into thenotch 212, whereas a slot will be left separately for a pair ofelectric wires lighting system 43. Themagnetic ring 31 of thegenerator 3 is inserted into thetire 1 and sleeved onto thestrut 13, then thefixture 2 is placed into thewheel 11 whereas themagnetic ring 31 will be within theinductive coil 32 and engage with thesleeve 223, thus themagnetic ring 31 is secured at place, and then thetire 1 is secured to theroller skate 4 by insertion of thewheel axle 5 from one side of theside walls 41 and extending outwardly from the other side of thewalls 41, whereas anut 6 will be threaded onto thewheel axle 5 to secure thetire 1, thefixture 2, and thegenerator 3 therein, constantly. - When rolling the
tire 1, thestrut 13 is activated to roll, which then brings themagnetic ring 31 to roll, simultaneously. Since theinductive coil 32 is secured in thefixture 2 by thelocators 222 and theside walls 41, according to the theory of magnetic field, an electric power will be produced, which outputs through thewires lighting system 43 to activate the system. - Further, since this design uses the magnetic ring to rotate while the inductive coil remains still, the
electric wires inductive coil 32 to the sounding andlighting system 43 through thewires
