Abstract
A tool box has box which pivotally installed with a transparent cover. A hook extends from the cover toward the box. The box has a concave portion corresponding to the hook for being buckled by the hook. The box has a spacer. The spacer spaces the interior of the box into an upper receiving chamber and a lower receiving chamber. The lower receiving chamber has an opening penetrating the box at a side with respect to the concave portion. A disk is placed into the lower receiving chamber from the opening. The concave portion of the disk corresponding to the box has a stop plate. The thickness of the stop plate is smaller than the depth of the concave portion. Thereby, the hook of the cover buckles the concave portion and at the same time it resists against the stop plate for fixing the disk.
Description
- The present invention relates to tool boxes. When a cover covers the box, a hook will buckle a concave portion and the stop plate of a disk is resisted so that the disk is closed.
- Referring to FIG. 7, a prior art tool box is illustrated. The box has a
spacer 83. Two sides of thebox 8 haverespective receiving spaces 81 for receiving abox 82. The bottom of each receivingspace 81 is formed with atrench 811. A distal end of thetrench 811 is installed with aflange 812. The bottom of thebox 82 has abuckle 821 so that as thebox 82 is closed, thebuckle 821 will be buckled by theflange 812 so that thebox 82 is positioned. - In above said structure, after it is used for a time period, the
flange 812 and thebuckle 821 will wear so that the buckling effect between thebuckle 821 and theflange 812 is reduced. Therefore, thebox 82 can not be closed. - Moreover, since the
buckle 821 need pass through theflange 812 repeatedly. The height of thebuckle 821 must be confined, otherwise it can not pass through theflange 812. However, the lower thebuckle 821, the small the force for retaining thebuckle 821 to resist against the front end of thetrench 811. When the buckle is worn, thebox 82 will release. - Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a tool box has box wherein the thickness of the stop plate is smaller than the depth of the concave portion. Thereby, the hook of the cover buckles the concave portion and at the same time it resists against the stop plate for fixing the disk.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a tool box, wherein the block of a block of a disk has a stop surface for resisting an end surface of a sliding groove so that as the disk is pulled out, the
disk 3 will not fall down. - The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention.
- FIG. 2 is a partial cross sectional view showing the box and the disk of the present invention.
- FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view along3-3 of FIG. 1.
- FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view along4-4 of FIG. 2.
- FIG. 5 is a schematic view showing that in the present invention, the stop surface of the block of the disk is buckled with a concave portion.
- FIG. 6 is a schematic view showing that a stop surface of a block of the disk resists against an end surface of a sliding groove.
- FIG. 7 is a schematic view of a prior art tool box.
- Referring to FIGS.1 to 6, the present embodiment has a
hollow box 1. Thebox 1 is pivotally installed with atransparent cover 2. Ahook 21 extends from thecover 2 toward thebox 1. Thebox 1 has aconcave portion 11 corresponding to thehook 21 for being buckled by thehook 21. Thebox 1 has aspacer 12. Thespacer 12 spaces the interior of thebox 1 into anupper receiving chamber 12 and alower receiving chamber 14. Thelower receiving chamber 14 has an opening 15 penetrating thebox 1 at a side with respect to theconcave portion 11. Adisk 3 is placed into thelower receiving chamber 14 from the opening 15. Theconcave portion 11 of thedisk 3 corresponding to thebox 1 has astop plate 31. The thickness of thestop plate 31 is smaller than the depth of theconcave portion 11. Thereby, thehook 21 of thecover 2 buckles theconcave portion 11 and at the same time it resists against thestop plate 31 for fixing thedisk 3, as shown in FIG. 5. Thebox 1 has ahanging hole 17 for suspending an object. - The inner bottom141 of the
lower receiving chamber 14 has twosliding groove 16. The side of thedisk 3 far away from thestop plate 31 hasblocks 32. Eachblock 32 has astop surface 321 at a side facing thestop plate 31 for resisting theend surface 161 at one end of asliding groove 16 near the opening 15. The travelling path of thedisk 3 and the extremity of the path are illustrated in FIG. 6. - Since the
concave portion 11 of thedisk 3 with respect to thebox 1 is smaller than thestop plate 31, when thedisk 3 is placed in thelower receiving chamber 14, thehook 21 of thecover 2 in theconcave portion 11 can be used to resist against thestop plate 31 of thedisk 3 when thecover 2 covers theconcave portion 11. When thecover 2 covers theupper receiving chamber 12, thedisk 3 on thelower receiving chamber 14 can be locked and thus can not be opened as thebox 1 is carried. - Moreover, each
block 32 of thedisk 3 has aplane stop plate 31 at a side face thestop plate 31. When thedisk 3 is pulled out, eachstop surface 321 resists against theend surface 161 of thesliding groove 16 and thus thedisk 3 will not fall down. - In summary, in the present invention, since the
concave portion 11 of thedisk 3 with respect to thebox 1 has a thickness smaller than depth of thestop plate 31 so that as thehook 21 of thecover 2 is buckled to theconcave portion 11, it also resists against thestop plate 31 of thedisk 3, thereby, thedisk 3 being locked effectively. Moreover, theblock 32 of thedisk 3 hasstop surface 321 which resists against anend surface 161 of thesliding groove 16 and therefore, thedisk 3 will not fall down. - The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
