Abstract

A tool box has box which pivotally installed with a transparent cover. A hook extends from the cover toward the box. The box has a concave portion corresponding to the hook for being buckled by the hook. The box has a spacer. The spacer spaces the interior of the box into an upper receiving chamber and a lower receiving chamber. The lower receiving chamber has an opening penetrating the box at a side with respect to the concave portion. A disk is placed into the lower receiving chamber from the opening. The concave portion of the disk corresponding to the box has a stop plate. The thickness of the stop plate is smaller than the depth of the concave portion. Thereby, the hook of the cover buckles the concave portion and at the same time it resists against the stop plate for fixing the disk.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to tool boxes. When a cover covers the box, a hook will buckle a concave portion and the stop plate of a disk is resisted so that the disk is closed. [0001]
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to FIG. 7, a prior art tool box is illustrated. The box has a [0002] spacer 83. Two sides of the box 8 have respective receiving spaces 81 for receiving a box 82. The bottom of each receiving space 81 is formed with a trench 811. A distal end of the trench 811 is installed with a flange 812. The bottom of the box 82 has a buckle 821 so that as the box 82 is closed, the buckle 821 will be buckled by the flange 812 so that the box 82 is positioned.
  • In above said structure, after it is used for a time period, the [0003] flange 812 and the buckle 821 will wear so that the buckling effect between the buckle 821 and the flange 812 is reduced. Therefore, the box 82 can not be closed.
  • Moreover, since the [0004] buckle 821 need pass through the flange 812 repeatedly. The height of the buckle 821 must be confined, otherwise it can not pass through the flange 812. However, the lower the buckle 821, the small the force for retaining the buckle 821 to resist against the front end of the trench 811. When the buckle is worn, the box 82 will release.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a tool box has box wherein the thickness of the stop plate is smaller than the depth of the concave portion. Thereby, the hook of the cover buckles the concave portion and at the same time it resists against the stop plate for fixing the disk. [0005]
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a tool box, wherein the block of a block of a disk has a stop surface for resisting an end surface of a sliding groove so that as the disk is pulled out, the [0006] disk 3 will not fall down.
  • The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.[0007]
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention. [0008]
  • FIG. 2 is a partial cross sectional view showing the box and the disk of the present invention. [0009]
  • FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view along [0010] 3-3 of FIG. 1.
  • FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view along [0011] 4-4 of FIG. 2.
  • FIG. 5 is a schematic view showing that in the present invention, the stop surface of the block of the disk is buckled with a concave portion. [0012]
  • FIG. 6 is a schematic view showing that a stop surface of a block of the disk resists against an end surface of a sliding groove. [0013]
  • FIG. 7 is a schematic view of a prior art tool box.[0014]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIGS. [0015] 1 to 6, the present embodiment has a hollow box 1. The box 1 is pivotally installed with a transparent cover 2. A hook 21 extends from the cover 2 toward the box 1. The box 1 has a concave portion 11 corresponding to the hook 21 for being buckled by the hook 21. The box 1 has a spacer 12. The spacer 12 spaces the interior of the box 1 into an upper receiving chamber 12 and a lower receiving chamber 14. The lower receiving chamber 14 has an opening 15 penetrating the box 1 at a side with respect to the concave portion 11. A disk 3 is placed into the lower receiving chamber 14 from the opening 15. The concave portion 11 of the disk 3 corresponding to the box 1 has a stop plate 31. The thickness of the stop plate 31 is smaller than the depth of the concave portion 11. Thereby, the hook 21 of the cover 2 buckles the concave portion 11 and at the same time it resists against the stop plate 31 for fixing the disk 3, as shown in FIG. 5. The box 1 has a hanging hole 17 for suspending an object.
  • The inner bottom [0016] 141 of the lower receiving chamber 14 has two sliding groove 16. The side of the disk 3 far away from the stop plate 31 has blocks 32. Each block 32 has a stop surface 321 at a side facing the stop plate 31 for resisting the end surface 161 at one end of a sliding groove 16 near the opening 15. The travelling path of the disk 3 and the extremity of the path are illustrated in FIG. 6.
  • Since the [0017] concave portion 11 of the disk 3 with respect to the box 1 is smaller than the stop plate 31, when the disk 3 is placed in the lower receiving chamber 14, the hook 21 of the cover 2 in the concave portion 11 can be used to resist against the stop plate 31 of the disk 3 when the cover 2 covers the concave portion 11. When the cover 2 covers the upper receiving chamber 12, the disk 3 on the lower receiving chamber 14 can be locked and thus can not be opened as the box 1 is carried.
  • Moreover, each [0018] block 32 of the disk 3 has a plane stop plate 31 at a side face the stop plate 31. When the disk 3 is pulled out, each stop surface 321 resists against the end surface 161 of the sliding groove 16 and thus the disk 3 will not fall down.
  • In summary, in the present invention, since the [0019] concave portion 11 of the disk 3 with respect to the box 1 has a thickness smaller than depth of the stop plate 31 so that as the hook 21 of the cover 2 is buckled to the concave portion 11, it also resists against the stop plate 31 of the disk 3, thereby, the disk 3 being locked effectively. Moreover, the block 32 of the disk 3 has stop surface 321 which resists against an end surface 161 of the sliding groove 16 and therefore, the disk 3 will not fall down.
  • The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
