Abstract
A support frame of an exerciser bike includes a front bar which has two support pad assemblies connected on two ends of the front bar and contacting the ground. A beam has a first end thereof connected to an intermediate portion of the front bar, and a second end of the beam contacts the ground. The exerciser bike is connected on the beam so that the weight of the exerciser bike is evenly supported by the front bar and the beam.
Description
- The present invention relates to a frame for an exerciser bike and the frame includes a front bar with two ends thereof contacting the ground and a beam is connected to an intermediate portion of the front bar. The exerciser bike is connected on the beam.
- A conventional exerciser bike is shown in FIG. 1 and generally includes a first post11 with a handle 111 connected to a top of the first post 11, and a
second post 12 which is connected to aseat 121. A transmission device is connected between the first post 11 and thesecond post 12. The exerciser bike is connected on an I-shaped frame 20 which has twobars 22 with aconnection rod 21 connected between the twobars 22. Theconnection rod 21 has twocurve plate 23 connected on two ends thereof and each of thecurve plates 23 has two holes 24 defined therethrough. Each of the twobars 22 has twoholes 25 defined therein so that twobolts 26 extend through the holes 24 in thecurve plate 23 and are engaged with theholes 25 in thebar 22. The positions of theholes 24 and 25 have to be precise so as to let the twobars 22 horizontally put on the ground. Thecurve plates 23 are welded on theconnection rod 21 so that they could not be positioned as desired, and this causes the twobars 22 be connected at unexpected positions which make the exerciser bike shake when in use. - The present invention intends to provide a T-shaped frame of an exerciser bike wherein the front bar of the frame has two ends contacting the ground and the beam is connected to an intermediate portion of the front bar. The exerciser bike is connected on the beam so that the weight of the exerciser bike is evenly supported.
- In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a support frame of an exerciser bike and includes a front bar which has two ends contacting the ground and a beam has a first end thereof connected to an intermediate portion of the front bar, and a second end of the beam contacts the ground. The exerciser bike is connected on the beam.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show a conventional exerciser bike and a conventional support frame;
- FIG. 2 is a perspective view to show an exerciser bike connected on a support frame of the present invention;
- FIG. 3 is an exploded view to show the connection between the front bar and the beam of the support frame of the present invention, and
- FIG. 4 is a top view to show the connection between the front bar and the beam of the support frame of the present invention.
- Referring to FIGS.2 to 4, the
support frame 40 of the present invention comprises afront bar 41 which has twosupport pad assembly 410 connected to two ends of thefront bar 41 and these twosupport pad assemblies 410 contact the ground. Asupport member 43 is connected to the intermediate portion of thefront bar 41 and comprises twoside plates 42 and a bottom plate connected between the twoside plates 42. Each of the twoside plates 42 has a groove defined therein. - A
beam 33 has a first end thereof connected to thesupport member 43 and a second end of thebeam 33 has another support pad assembly which contacts the ground. Aninsertion member 34 is connected to the first end of thebeam 33 and inserted between the twoside plates 42. Twobolts 45 extend through twoholes 44 in the bottom plate of thesupport member 43 and are connected to twoengaging holes 35 in theinsertion member 34. - An
exerciser bike 30 is connected on thebeam 33 and includes afirst post 31 with ahandle 311 connected thereto, asecond post 32 with aseat 321 connected thereto, and atransmission device 36 is connected to thebike 30. - It is easily to insert the
insertion member 34 in thesupport member 43 to have an initial connection, and thebolts 45 are used to connect theinsertion member 34 to thesupport member 43. This connection can be done by one person and the weight of thebike 30 is evenly supported and dispensed by the threesupport pad assemblies 410 respectively on thefront bar 41 and thebeam 33. - While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
