Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a sealing machine, and more particularly to a sealing machine having changeable sealing members for sealing or forming various kinds of sealing patterns on the objects to be sealed.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Typical sealing machines, such as the sealing machines for sealing the plastic bags or the like, include a sealing member solidly secured to an operating arm and movable toward the heating member, for solidly clamping the plastic bags or the other objects between the operating arm and the heating member, and for sealing or forming a sealing line on the objects to be sealed. The sealing member is solidly secured to the operating arm and may not be disengaged from the operating arm and thus may not be changed with the other sealing member, such that the sealing patterns may not be changed to the others.
- The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional sealing machines.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a sealing machine including changeable sealing members for sealing or forming various kinds of sealing patterns on the objects to be sealed.
- In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a sealing machine comprising a base, an operating arm including a first end pivotally secured to the base, a holder member secured to the operating arm, at least one sealing member including a first surface and a second surface, and means for detachably securing the sealing member to the holder member. The sealing member is detachably secured to the holder member and is changeable to face either the first surface or the second surface toward the base, for allowing different or various kinds of patterns to be formed or applied onto the objects to be sealed.
- The detachably securing means includes a channel formed in the holder member for slidably receiving the sealing member. The sealing member includes two sides each having a groove formed therein, the holder member includes a pair of opposite flanges extended therefrom and extended toward each other for forming the channel thereof and for slidably engaging into the grooves of the sealing member, and for detachably securing the sealing member to the holder member.
- The first surface of the sealing member is a flat surface. The sealing member includes a plurality of dots extended from the second surface thereof. One or more second sealing members may further be provided and each includes a first surface and a second surface each having a predetermined or selected pattern formed or provided therein. The second sealing members may also be detachably secured to the holder member and may also be changed to face either the first surface or the second surface thereof toward the base.
- The surfaces of the second sealing member may include a plurality of lines and dots provided therein, or may include a plurality of wavy lines formed or provided therein.
- Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of a detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to accompanying drawings.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a sealing machine in accordance with the present invention;
- FIG. 2 is a partial exploded view of the sealing machine;
- FIG. 3 is a bottom perspective view of a sealing member of the sealing machine;
- FIG. 4 is an upper perspective view showing the other or the changeable sealing member of the sealing machine;
- FIG. 5 is a bottom perspective view of the sealing member of the sealing machine as shown in FIG. 4;
- FIG. 6 is a partial cross sectional view taken along lines6-6 of FIG. 1;
- FIG. 7 is a partial cross sectional view similar to FIG. 6, illustrating the operation of the sealing machine; and
- FIGS. 8, 9 are perspective views illustrating the operation of the sealing machine.
- Referring to the drawings, and initially to FIGS.1-3, a sealing machine in accordance with the present invention comprises a
base 3 including aplatform 31 provided on top thereof and including aheating device 33 disposed or provided therein (FIGS. 6, 7) for heating theplatform 31 and for sealing purposes, and anoperating arm 1 including one end pivotally or rotatably secured to thebase 3 with apivot shaft 11, for allowing theoperating arm 1 to be moved downward or toward theplatform 31 for conducting sealing operations. The above described structure is typical and is not related to the present invention and will not be described in further details. - The sealing machine includes a holder member4 having a
panel 40 extended upward therefrom for engaging into and for securing to theoperating arm 3 with such as the fasteners, with welding processes, or by the other securing methods, for allowing the holder member 4 to be moved in concert with theoperating arm 3. The holder member 4 includes achannel 41 formed therein and formed or defined by a pair ofopposite flanges members 2 each includes two sides each having agroove flanges members 2 to be moved in concert with the holder member 4 and theoperating arm 3. - As shown in FIGS.2-5, the
sealing members 2 each includes anupper surface 21 and abottom surface 22 each having a predetermined or selectedpattern 26, 23 (FIGS. 2, 3); or 27, 28 (FIGS. 4, 5), formed or provided therein for allowing thepatterns members 2 to be changeably engaged onto the objects to be sealed (FIGS. 6-9) and thus for sealing or forming various kinds of sealing patterns on the objects to be sealed. For example, the sealingmember 2 may include aflat surface 26, and/or may include a number ofdots 230 extended or provided therein for forming thepattern 23, or may include a number oflines 270 anddots 271 for forming thepattern 27, or may include a number ofwavy lines 280 for forming theother pattern 28. - In operation, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the sealing
members 2 may be disposed up-side-down, or may be changed with each other for facing either of thepatterns objects 5 to be sealed, and thus for changeably sealing or forming various kinds ofsealing patterns 51 on the objects 5 (FIG. 9). The sealing machine thus includes one or more sealingmembers 2 that may be changed or disposed upside-down, or that may be changed with each other for forming various kinds ofsealing patterns 51 on theobjects 5. - Accordingly, the sealing machine in accordance with the present invention includes one or more changeable sealing members for sealing or forming various kinds of sealing patterns on the objects to be sealed.
- Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
