Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates generally to a pistol nozzle, and more particularly to a pistol nozzle rack which can be rotated and adjusted in height.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- The conventional pistol nozzle rack has an open grating for holding a plurality of pistol nozzles. The open grating is formed by a plurality of horizontal rods and vertical rods. The horizontal rods are provided with a plurality of curved portions serving to located the pistol nozzles.
- Such conventional pistol nozzle rack as described above is defective in design in that the curved portions do not locate effectively the pistol nozzles, thereby resulting in a disorderly arrangement of the pistol nozzles. In addition, the horizontal rods and the vertical rods of the conventional pistol nozzles obstruct the view of the user of the pistol nozzles, thereby causing a great deal of inconvenience for the user to select a desired pistol nozzle. Moreover, the horizontal rods and the vertical rods are welded together. As a result, the conventional pistol nozzle rack can not be adjusted in height in accordance with the specifications of the pistol nozzles.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a pistol nozzle rack which is free of the drawbacks of the conventional pistol nozzle rack described above.
- The pistol nozzle rack of the present invention comprises a rotary seat, a support rod, and a holding seat. The rotary seat is formed of a rotary disk and a base. The rotary disk is provided in the upper side with a plurality of receiving slots for receiving one end of the grip of the pistol nozzle. The support rod is held at one end by the rotary seat and is adjustable in length. The holding seat is mounted on other end of the support rod and is provided with a plurality of holding slots corresponding in location to the receiving slots of the rotary disk for holding the barrels of the pistol nozzles.
- The features, functions, and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the present invention in combination.
- FIG. 2 shows an exploded view of the present invention.
- FIG. 3 shows a longitudinal sectional view of the present invention in combination.
- FIG. 4 shows a schematic view of the height adjustment of the present invention.
- FIG. 5 shows a schematic view of the present invention in use.
- FIG. 6 shows a schematic view of a structural modification o present invention.
- As shown in FIGS.1-3, a pistol nozzle rack embodied in the present invention comprises a
rotary seat 10, asupport rod 20, and aholding seat 30. - The
rotary seat 10 is formed of arotary disk 11 and abase 12. Therotary disk 11 is provided in the underside with a plurality ofprojections 13. Thebase 12 is provided in the upper side with acircular guide slot 14 corresponding in location to theprojections 13 of therotary disk 11. Therotary disk 11 is provided in the upper side with a plurality of receivingslots 15 for receiving one end of agrip 06 of apistol nozzle 05. - The
support rod 20 is pivoted at the bottom end with the center of therotary seat 10 such that thesupport rod 20 is uprightly disposed. - The
holding seat 30 is mounted on the top end of thesupport rod 20 and is provided with a plurality ofholding slots 31 corresponding in location and number to thereceiving slots 15 of therotary disk 11 of therotary seat 10. Theholding slots 31 are intended to hold the barrel of thepistol nozzle 05. - The
rotary disk 11 is provided at the center with afirst mount 16, whereas thebase 12 is provided at the center with asecond mount 17 corresponding in location to thefirst mount 16. Thesecond mount 17 is provided at the bottom with astop piece 18. Thesupport rod 20 is pivoted at the bottom end with the center of therotary seat 10 such that the bottom end of thesupport rod 20 is mounted in thefirst mount 16 of therotary disk 11 and thesecond mount 17 of thebase 12 in conjunction with afastening bolt 19, and that the bottom end of thesupport rod 20 turns in thesecond mount 17 of thebase 12. In light of thesupport rod 20 being fastened with thefirst mount 16 of therotary disk 11 by the fasteningbolt 19, therotary disk 11 turns along with thesupport rod 20 at such time when thesupport rod 20 is turned in thesecond mount 17 of thebase 12. - As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
receiving slots 15 of the rotary disk are provided with athrough hole 151 to accommodate acontrol lever 07 of thepistol nozzle 05. - The
support rod 20 is expandable and formed of aninner tube 22 and anouter tube 23 into which theinner tube 22 is slidably fitted. Theouter tube 23 is provided with anadjustment portion 21 comprising a threaded throughhole 24 and a locatingknob 25 for locating theinner tube 22 via the threaded throughhole 24. - The
holding slots 31 of theholding seat 30 are provided in the inner wall with aretaining portion 32 for retaining the barrel of thepistol nozzle 05. - The
holding slots 31 of theholding seat 30 are different in depth, as illustrated in FIG. 6. - The embodiment of the present invention described above is to be regarded in all respects as being merely illustrative and not restrictive. Accordingly, the present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without deviating from the spirit thereof. The present invention is therefore to be limited only by the scopes of the following claims.
