Abstract
A sucking structure attachable to any bottle or container generally available in the market that is incorporated to a bottle by an external straw provided with a sucker to sip water or other potable liquid contained in the bottle; both of said straw and a water inlet hose inside the bottle are connected to a bottle cap and a connector penetrating said bottle cap with its portion exposed above the cap indicating a barb for the straw to press firmly against the connector when the straw is inserted into the connector while the portion of the connector inside the bottle reduces downwardly as its outer diameter becomes larger upwardly to hold it in position when inserted into the bottle cap; and the sucking structure allows the use of any recyclable bottle or container and thus contributes to environmental purpose.
Description
- (a) Field of the Invention
- The present invention is related to a sucking structure attachable to any bottle or container (such as a PE bottle), and more particularly, to one that can be adapted to any empty bottle of beverage without the necessity to purchase dedicated water bottle.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- For the average sportsman, who enjoys bike riding, mountain hiking or any other physical activities that consumes a lot of energy will prepare in his knapsack potable water for supplementation of his physical strength. However, it takes time to fetch the water container and open up its cap. That is time consuming and he has to suspend his activities just for drinking water. Therefore, a professional athlete or an experienced amateur would buy himself a dedicated water sack.
- As illustrated in FIG. 1 of the accompanying drawings of the present invention, said water sack1′ relates to a soft one with the water or other potable liquid to be filled up through a mouth adapted to a
locking cap 11′. Astraw 2′ connected to ajoint 12′ below the sack 1′ is used to sip the water. Or with the sack 1′ put inside the knapsack, asucker 21′ connected to one end of thestraw 2′ in a certain length is used to sip the water. Since thestraw 2′ can be carried on the shoulder of the user, it is convenient for him to sip the water without bothering to open up the knapsack, the sack 1′ and put the sack 1′ back in the knapsack. However, it becomes difficult to fetch the water as the sack 1′ easily gets flattened, thus deformed and displaced when the water is running out inside the sack 1′. - The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a sucking structure attachable to a bottle body by incorporating a bottle cap. It can be adapted to various shapes and sizes of bottle. Once the existing bottle is worn or contaminated, the present invention can be immediately shifted to be adapted to another bottle that is generally available in the market, e.g., one contains mineral water or any other beverage for environmental benefits.
- FIG. 1 is an elevation view showing a prior art of water sag incorporated with a straw.
- FIG. 2 is an elevation view showing a preferred embodiment of the present invention attached to a bottle.
- FIG. 3 is an elevation view showing a bottle cap is separated from a sucker of the present invention.

- FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken from5-5 in the direction as indicated by an arrow in FIG. 2.
- Referring to FIGS.2˜5, a sucking structure 1 of the present invention provides a
straw 12 integrated with abottle cap 11 and is attachable to abottle body 2. Within, saidstraw 12 extends for a certain length so to expose only a section to be fetched for sipping water or other potable liquid contained in thebottle 2 when thebottle body 2 is put inside a knapsack. Said sucking structure 1 is comprised of thebottle cap 11, thestraw 12 and awater inlet hose 13. Saidbottle cap 11 is provided with inner threads to be fixed to a mouth of saidbottle body 2. Anintegrated connector 111 penetrates through thebottle cap 11 and a portion of saidconnector 111 above thebottle cap 11 indicates a barb to pack thestraw 12 firmly against theconnector 111 when it is inserted into and pushing thestraw 12 outwardly. The remaining portion of theconnector 111 inside the bottle cap reduces downwardly to be connected to thewater inlet hose 13. Whereas the outer diameter of theconnector 111 to said section becomes larger upward, it expands to tightly push against thebottle cap 11 so theconnector 111 will not fall out of thebottle cap 11. - The
bottle body 2 containing water or beverage generally available in the market can be recycled and therefore suitable for the application of the present invention. Thebottle body 2 usually gives a consistent shape and can be easily firmly placed in position without being vulnerable to tilt over, making it easy for thewater inlet hose 13 to suck up the water. Furthermore, as thestraw 12 becomes an integral part of thebottle cap 11, thebottle cap 11 can be adapted to anybottle body 2 without being limited to a certain container. With the present invention offering the benefits of saving money and efforts, those who enjoy outdoor activities would no longer worry about where to fetch the water, nor buy any water sag. - However, specifications and accompanying drawings disclosed of the present invention disclosed herein are only some preferred embodiments of the present invention. Any change or modification of the equivalent effects based on the field of the present invention by those who are familiar with the art of the present invention shall be covered within the scope of claims filed in the application of the present invention.
Claims (1)
1. A sucking structure attachable to a bottle body using an external straw in a certain length provided with a sucker to sip water or other potable liquid contained in the bottle body, essentially comprised of a bottle cap, a straw and a water inlet hose; said straw and said water inlet hose connected to the bottle cap, a connector penetrating and made an integral part of the bottle cap with the portion exposed above the bottle cap indicates a barb to pack up the straw holding firmly against the connector while the connector inside the bottle cap reducing downward to be connected to the water inlet hose and holding the connector in position in the bottle cap as the outer diameter of the connector for that section becomes larger upwardly.
