Abstract
Hanging hook structure including a hook body, two casings mated with each other, a press rod, a compression spring and a restoring spring. A slide stem downward extends from lower side of the hook body and is formed with a plane attaching face on one side. An upper rear side of the slide stem is formed with an escape recess. A stop block is formed under the escape recess. A front side of the slide stem is formed with an insertion notch. A lower end of the slide stem is formed with a restoring spring pushing cavity under the insertion notch. An inner side of each casing is cut with a slide channel and a push channel to form a cross shape. An upper end of one side of the slide channel is provided with a projecting stop block (or a dent). A lower end of the slide channel is formed with a restoring spring retaining section. A front section of the push channel is formed with a compression spring retaining section. A rear section thereof is provided with a diaphragm formed with an arched notch. The inner faces of the casings are formed with several mortises and tapered tenons. A rear end of the press rod is connected with a press head. A middle portion of the press rod is cut with an engaging recess. A front end of the engaging recess is formed with an engaging block. A front end face of the press rod is formed with a compression spring retaining face.
Description
- The present invention is related to a hanging hook structure. When hooking an article, it is unnecessary to keep pressing the press rod with a finger. The hanging hook is assembled by means of tight fit of tenons and the mortises which are hidden in the casings of the hanging hool. Therefore, no locating structure is exposed to outer side so that the hanging hook has a tidy appearance.
- FIG. 1 shows a conventional hanging hook having a
hook body 10 and a movable block 11 riveted with thehook body 10 by arivet 12 and resiliently pushed by acompression spring 13. Thehook body 10 is arched and formed with an opening on front face. Ahooking section 101 is formed on inner side of the opening. A lower portion of thehook body 10 is formed with areceptacle 102 and a rivet hole in front of thereceptacle 102. Aring body 103 is pivotally connected with lower end of thehook body 10 via a short cylindrical shaft. The lower section of the movable block 11 is inserted into thereceptacle 102 and pivotally connected with thehook body 10. The rear face of the movable block 11 is provided with a locating boss 111 on which thecompression spring 13 is fitted and located. When not used, the upper end of the movable block 11 is leant against one side of the opening of the hook body to block the opening. When used, a user presses the movable block 11 with a finger to pivotally inward rotate the movable block 11 about therivet 12. Accordingly, thecompression spring 13 is compressed between the movable block 11 and thehook body 10 and the opening of thehook body 10 is open. At this time, the hookingsection 101 of thehook body 10 can hook an article through the opening. Thereafter, the movable block 11 is released from the pressing, whereby thecompression spring 13 resiliently restores the movable block 11 to its home position to again block the opening of thehook body 10. Under such circumstance, the article is encompassed by the hanging hook without detachment therefrom. - The above conventional hanging hook has some shortcomings as follows:
- 1. When hooking an article, the finger must keep pressing the movable block11. This makes it difficult and inconvenient to hook the article.
- 2. The hanging hook has polished surface so that when keeping pressing the movable block11, the finger tends to slip away and it is necessary to again press the movable block 11. Therefore, it is hard to quickly and easily hook the article.
- 3. The movable block11 is pivotally connected with the
hook body 10 via therivet 12. Therivet 12 is exposed to outer side and leads to poor appearance of the hanging hook. - It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a hanging hook structure. When hooking an article, it is unnecessary to keep pressing the press rod with a finger so that it is easy, convenient and quick to use the hanging hook for hooking an article.
- It is a further object of the present invention to provide the above hanging hook structure by which when hooking an article, it is unnecessary to keep pressing the press rod with a finger so that the finger is not likely to slip away from the polished surface of the hook body. Therefore, the hooking operation can be quickly and truly performed.
- It is still a further object of the present invention to provide the above hanging hook structure in which the hook body and the casings are assembled with each other by means of tight fit of the tenons and the mortises which are-hidden in the casings. Therefore, no locating structure is exposed to outer side so that the hanging hook has a tidy appearance.
- The present invention can be best understood through the following description and accompanying drawings wherein:
- FIG. 1 is a partially sectional view of a conventional hanging hook, showing the operation thereof;
- FIG. 2 is a perspective exploded view of the hanging hook of the present invention;
- FIG. 3 is a sectional assembled view of the hanging hook of the present invention; and
- FIG. 4 is a view according to FIG. 3, showing the hooking operation of the hanging hook of the present invention.
- Please refer to FIG. 2. The present invention includes a
hook body 30, twocasings 40 mated with each other, apress rod 50, acompression spring 60 and a restoringspring 61. Thehook body 30 is arched and formed with an opening 31 on upper front face. Ahooking section 32 is formed on inner side of the opening 31. Aslide stem 33 downward extends from lower side of thehook body 30. One side of theslide stem 33 is formed with aplane attaching face 331. An upper rear side of theslide stem 33 is formed with anescape recess 332. Astop block 333 is formed under theescape recess 332. The middle of front side of theslide stem 33 is formed with aninsertion notch 334. The center of lower end of theslide stem 33 is formed with a restoringspring pushing cavity 335 under theinsertion notch 334. Thecasings 40 are arched and oppositely mated with each other. The upper front side of eachcasing 40 has an upward extendingstop block 41 corresponding to the opening 31 of thehook body 30. The inner side of the casing is cut with aslide channel 42 and apush channel 43 communicating with theslide channel 42 to form a cross shape. The upper end of one side of theslide channel 42 is provided with a projecting stop block 421 (or adent 421′ corresponding to the stop block 421). The lower end of theslide channel 42 is formed with a restoringspring retaining section 422. The front section of thepush channel 43 in front of theslide channel 42 is formed with a compressionspring retaining Section 431. The rear section is provided with adiaphragm 432 dividing the rear section into a largereceiving space 433 and asmall receiving space 434 at the opening of the push channel. Thediaphragm 432 is formed with anarched notch 435. The inner faces of thecasings 40 are formed withseveral mortises 44 andtapered tenons 44′ surrounding theslide channel 42 and thepush channel 43. The rear end of thepress rod 50 via a small diameter section is connected with apress head 51. The middle portion is cut with anengaging recess 52. The front end of theengaging recess 52 is formed with anengaging block 53. The front end face of thepress rod 50 is formed with a compressionspring retaining face 54. - When assembled, as shown in FIG. 3, the restoring
spring 61 is first placed into theslide channel 42 of onecasing 40 with one end abutting against the restoringspring retaining section 422. Then the slide stem 33 of thehook body 30 is placed into theslide channel 42 of thesame casing 40 with the restoringspring pushing cavity 335 abutting against the other end of the restoringspring 61. Thestop block 421 of thecasing 40 is received in theescape recess 332 to avoid the slide stem. Then, thehook body 30 is downward pressed to align theinsertion notch 334 with thepush channel 43 of thecasing 40. At this time, the restoringspring 61 is compressed. Thepress rod 50 is placed into thepush channel 43 from one side of thecasing 40. Thepress rod 50 is passed through thearched notch 435 and stopped by thediaphragm 432. The front section of thepress head 51 is received in thesmall receiving space 434, while the rear section of the press head extends out from the rear face of thecasing 40. The engagingrecess 52 of thepress rod 50 is attached to the attachingface 331 of thehook body 30. The engagingblock 53 is right engaged in theinsertion notch 334 of thehook body 30. Then, two ends of thecompression spring 60 are respectively leant against the compressionspring retaining section 431 of thecasing 40 and the compressionspring retaining face 54 of thepress rod 50. The engagingblock 53 of thepress rod 50 is pushed by thecompression spring 60 to truly engage in theinsertion notch 334 of thehook body 30. Also, thehook body 30 is stopped by the engagingblock 53 from upward sliding. Finally, theother casing 40 is mated with thecasing 40 and the tapered tenons 44′ thereof are forcedly tightly fitted into themortises 44 so as to firmly associate the twocasings 40 with each other. After the twocasings 40 are mated with each other, the stop blocks 41 thereof block theopening 31 of thehook body 30. - In use, as shown in FIG. 4, a user's finger presses the
press head 51 to move thepress rod 50 forward. At this time, thecompression spring 60 is compressed. When the engagingblock 53 of thepress rod 50 is totally moved out of theinsertion notch 334 and disengaged therefrom, thehook body 30 is free from any stopping force and resiliently pushed by the restoringspring 61 to abruptly bound upward. At this time, theinsertion block 53 is restricted by the front face of the slide stem under theinsertion notch 334 from bounding back. When the stop block 333 of the upwardbounding hook body 30 abuts against the stop block 421 of thecasing 40, thehook body 30 is immediately stopped from upward bounding. Under such circumstance, theopening 31 of thehook body 30 is opened. At this time, the hookingsection 32 can hook an article. After hooked, thehook body 30 is again pressed by the finger to downward slide. When theinsertion notch 334 is again aligned with the engagingblock 53, the engagingblock 53 is resiliently pushed by thecompression spring 60 to again slide into and engage with theinsertion notch 334. Also, thepress rod 50 is restored to its home position. At this time, thehook body 30 is restricted from moving upward and theopening 31 is blocked and the article hooked by the hookingsection 32 is prevented from detaching from thehook body 30. - The present invention has the following advantages:
- 1. When hooking an article, it is unnecessary to keep pressing the press rod with a finger so that it is easy, convenient and quick to use the hanging hook for hooking an article.
- 2. When hooking an article, it is unnecessary to keep pressing the press rod with a finger so that the finger is not likely to slip away from the polished surface of the hook body. Therefore, the hooking operation can be quickly and truly performed.
- 3. The hook body and the casinos are assembled with each other by means of tight fit of the
tenons 44 and themortises 44′ which are hidden in the casings. Therefore, no locating structure is exposed to outer side so that the hanging hook has a tidy appearance. - The above embodiment is only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiment can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
Claims (2)
1. Hanging hook structure comprising a hook body, two casings mated with each other, a press rod, a compression spring and a restoring spring, the hook body being formed with an opening on upper front face, a hooking section being formed on inner side of the opening, an upper front side of each casing having an upward extending stop block corresponding to the opening of the hook body, said hanging hook structure being characterized in that:
a slide stem downward extends from lower side of the hook body, one side of the slide stem being formed with a plane a attaching face, an upper rear side of the slide stem being formed with an escape recess, a stop block being formed under the escape recess, a middle portion of front side of the slide stem being formed with an insertion notch, a lower end of the slide stem being formed with a restoring spring pushing cavity under the insertion notch;
an inner side of each casing is cut with a slide channel and a push channel communicating with the slide channel to form a cross shape, an upper end of one side of the slide channel being provided with a projecting stop block (or a dent corresponding to the stop block, a lower end of the slide channel being formed with a restoring spring retaining section, a front section of the push channel in front of the slide channel being formed with a compression spring retaining section, a rear section thereof being provided with a diaphragm dividing the rear section into a large receiving space and a small receiving space at the opening of the push channel, the diaphragm being formed with an arched notch, the inner faces of the casings being formed with several mortises and tapered tenons surrounding the slide channel and the push channel;
a rear end of the press rod is connected with a press head, a middle portion of the press rod being cut with an engaging recess, a front end of the engaging recess being formed with an engaging block, a front end face of the press rod being formed with a compression spring retaining face, the slide stem of the hook body and the restoring spring being placed in the slide channel of the casing, the press rod and the compression spring being placed in the push channel of the casing, the two casings being mated with each other to integrally associate with the hook body.
2. Hanging hook structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the casings are mated with each other in such a manner that the tapered tenons are forcedly tightly fitted into the mortises so as to firmly associate the two casings with each other.
