    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a portable ramp with transport facilitators and more particularly pertains to providing a jump for skaters and bikers that can be easily transported. [0001]
  • The use of portable ramp devices is known in the prior art. More specifically, portable ramp devices heretofore devised and utilized for the purpose of practicing wheeled sports are known to consist basically of familiar, expected and obvious structural configurations, notwithstanding the myriad of designs encompassed by the crowded prior art which have been developed for the fulfillment of countless objectives and requirements. [0002]
  • By way of example, U.S. Pat. No. 4,285,514 to Romero discloses a portable ramp consisting of two plates hinged together for use while practicing wheeled sports, such as skateboarding. U.S. Pat. No. 5,599,235 to Lynberg discloses a collapsible skate ramp constructed of at least two sections. U.S. Pat. No. 5,946,756 to Mapp discloses an additional portable ramp and appears constructed of molded plastic. [0003]
  • While these devices fulfill their respective, particular objective and requirements, the aforementioned patents do not describe a portable ramp with transport facilitators for providing a jump for skaters and bikers that can be easily transported. [0004]
