Abstract
This invention is one or more integral molded pull-up ring extended either vertically or horizontally from the top and the rim of the plastic bottle top. The end of the pull-up ring is free end and the other is the connecting end which connects to the bottle top. The free end forms a bigger and wider ring and the connecting end can be one or two. Moreover, at the connecting end, users can add one narrow space. When the pull-up ring is horizontal, users can install at both ends of the narrow space a protruding block and a withholding restrainer. When the pull-up ring becomes a perpendicular angle, it becomes easier for users to carry the container.
Description
- Most bottles have been equipped with the pull-up ring so that users can easily carry the bottles or pour the liquid out as shown in FIG. 17 and18. These two figures are the lateral view and vertical view of the bottle. This pull-up ring is an invention by Aoki Research Center in Japan. The special feature is a pull-up ring (82) coming out as an extension from the bottleneck (81) of the bottle body (8). At the connection place of pull-up
ring 82 andbottleneck 81, there is anarrow space 83 and its purpose is to let pull-upring 82 move freely. - Moreover, having a pull-up ring on the plastic cap was once a design on the sealing place of the bottle mouth. Usually the design is to have the pull-up ring to be inside of the bottle mouth. Its purpose and function are to remove the plastic sealing at the bottle mouth rather than for the reason for carrying. This design is mostly used for bottle tops for seasoning such as soy sauce and vinegar.
- The invention of bottleneck ring with a pull-up ring is one or more plastic bottleneck ring horizontal or vertical to the bottleneck diameter. This pull-up ring is a flat extension with one free end and another attached to the bottleneck ring. The free end is wider than the fixed end so that user's finger can pass through the ring. The fixed end can be one more two; the attached part can have a narrow space for the pull-up ring. When the pull-ring is horizontal, the connecting end can add a narrow space so that the pull-ring can turn freely. At both ends of the narrow space of the horizontal pull-up ring, a bulged-out block and a withholding restrainer can be added. When the block turns 90 degrees, it can be closely match with the restrainer to make the pull-up ring to form a perpendicular angle so that users can carry it more conveniently. When the pull-up ring is used vertically, the ring does not have to turn and can be used directly by users.
- The following is a detailed explanation of the sample in each figure:
- FIGS. 1 and 2 are the structural diagram and lateral view of the bottle top with a pull-up ring. One ore more molded pull-up
ring 2 is extended from the outside side of theplastic top 1. The pull-up ring 2 is a flat and horizontal extension. One end is thefree end 21 and the other isend 22 connected withbottle top 2. Thefree end 21 is wider thanend 22.End 22 can be one (as in FIG. 3) or two (as in FIG. 1). In addition,end 22 can add a narrow space 23 (as in FIG. 5) so that the horizontal pull-up ring 2 can easily bend (as in FIG. 6). Thenarrow space 23 is either located on top ofend 22 or there will be two narrow spaces (one is up and the other is down, in a symmetrical position). Moreover, thenarrow space 23 can be connected to the inner side of end 22 (as in FIG. 7) or outer side (no figure available). Then, in front and back ofnarrow space 23, a bulged-out block 24 (as in FIGS. 1 and 3) and awithholding restrainer 25 can be added. Whenrestrainer 25 turns 90 degrees (as in FIG. 4), it will closely match theblock 24 so that pull-upring 2 can be in a vertical position of 90 degrees. Thefree end 21 of the pull-up ring 2 can be either in the form of a ring (as in FIGS. 1 and 3) or in the form of an arc (as in FIG. 5). - FIGS. 8 and 9 are the structural diagram and lateral view of another bottle top with a pull-up ring. The
bottom ring 11 underbottle top 1 has a horizontal extended pull-up ring 2. This ring not only has two connectingends 22 but also can function well with only one connecting end 22 (no figure available). The connectingend 22 of the pull-up ring 2 also has a narrow space 23 (as in FIG. 10). Moreover, at the front and back ends of thenarrow space 23, aprotruding block 24 and a withholding restrainer 25 (as in FIG. 8) can be added. Their functions, purposes and structure are the same as the ones mentioned before; therefore, details will not be repeated. - Next, pull-up
ring 2 not only can extend horizontally frombottle top 1; it also can extend vertically frombottle top 1, as shown in FIG. 1. Both sides ofbottle top 1 can extend horizontally and vertically to have the two connectingends 22 of pull-upring 2. Therefore, pull-upring 2 can be vertical in a perpendicular position. Or the two connectingend 22 can add one ore two narrow space 23 (as in FIG. 12). If twonarrow spaces 23 are set in symmetrical arrangement, thenarrow space 23 can help the movement of vertical pull-upring 2. The free end of pull-up ring 2 mentioned before can either be in the form of a ring (as in FIGS. 11 and 12) or in the form of an arc (as in FIG. 13). Depends on the needs, users can add a strengtheningblock 26 to the outer side offree end 21. - Please refer to FIG. 14, it is a structural diagram of the bottleneck ring with a changed vertical pull-up ring. The pull-up
ring 2 in this diagram only has one connecting 22 and it is connected to the top cover ofbottle top 1. Connectingend 22 can add one or two symmetricalnarrow spaces 23 or the connectingend 22 itself can be a narrow space 23 (as in FIG. 15). The shape of the pull-up ring should not be limited as its purpose is to bring convenience to users when they carry containers or bottles. If the container is not heavy, thefree end 21 of the pull-up ring can be a ring for one finger (as in FIG. 16). - Hopefully, the implementation of this innovation can bring out the following results:
- Because of this pull-up ring, users can enjoy a greater level of convenience, especially carrying heavier or larger containers or bottles. This ring also makes pouring liquid out of the containers to be easier. Claims (10)
1. A plastic bottleneck ring with pull-up ring. This pull-up ring is an extension from the outer diameter of the bottleneck ring. It has the features of:
the pull-up ring is a part that comes out from the side of the bottleneck ring. One end is free end and the other is connected to the bottle top. The free end is wider than the connecting end and users can hold this part for carrying purpose.
2. The same as the item mentioned in claim 1 . The pull-up ring comes out horizontally from one side of the bottleneck ring. When users use a hand to hold the free end, the free end will turn from horizontal to vertical angle to add convenience to the users.
3. The same as the item mentioned in claim 1 . The pull-up ring can also come out from one side of the bottleneck ring and then go up perpendicularly. Then, it will become a vertical pull-up ring for users to carry.
4. The same as the item mentioned in claim 1 . The connecting end has a narrow space to allow the free end to turn freely.
5. The same as the item mentioned in claim 2 . At two ends of the narrow space for the horizontal ring, install a bulged-out block and a withholding restrainer. When the restrainer turns 90 degrees, it will closely match the block.
6. The same as the item mentioned in claim 1 . The connecting end between pull-up ring and bottle top can be one or more.
7. The same as the item mentioned in claim 1 . The pull-up ring can extend from the top of the bottle top.
8. The same as the item mentioned in claim 1 . The pull-up ring can extend from the bottom of the bottle top.
9. The same as the item mentioned in claim 1 . The free end of the pull-up ring can be in the form of a ring.
10. The same as the item mentioned in claim 1 . The free end of the pull-up ring can be in the form of an arc.
