, It will be noted that the construction herein described provides;a simplemeans whereby the so positit ned relative to said engine as to provide eficient air circulation for cooling same.
- In sleeve valve engines, it is desirabie to have a-flwater outlet connection at the extremeforward endofthe engine andgeneraHv-such awater Coh- 40 nection interferes with the fan mounting but by providing a fixture of the character described, I am enabled to assemble a fan assembly with the engine in a manner which does .ndt depart from the recogmzed practice, and furthermore, the arrangement which I have devised may be more readily manufactured and assembled With an engine. It will be noted thatthe stud of the fan assemb1y is secured to said fixture intermediate the branched water passages 23 and can be adsition with a minimum of labor.
. Although I have illustrated but one form of my invention, and have described in detail but a sinopening.

What I daim as my invention is:
l. A device of the character described for in ternaleombustion engines and comprising a combined water outlet and anbracket fixture, said fixture having an opening for receiving. a portion of the fan assembly and branched water connec-.

A device of the charazter describedinduding a water connection adapted to be secured to an internal combustion engin, an engine accessory, said connection having an opening adapted for receiving a portion'of said engine acCessory'and provided with branched Wate1 connectionsex tending on opposite sides of said opening. f
3. A device of the chaiacter described including a water connection adapted to be secured to an internal combustion engine and having an elongated opening, an engine accessory, and means adjustably secuxing said accessory in said opening, said water connection having passages extending on opposite sides of said opening.
4. A device of the character described for internal combustion engines and Comprising a combined water outlet and fan brackt fixture in ing a wall ofsaid passage, said opening being adapted foi" receiving a portion of the fan assembly.

A device of the character described for internal combustion engines and comprising a combined Water outlet and fan bracket fixture, said fixture including an elongated opening adapted for receiving a portion of the fan assembly and provided with branched water conducting means positioned on opposite sides of said elongated 7. A device of the character described for internal combustion engines and comprising a combined water outlet and fan bracket fixture including a water passage, said fixture including an elongated opening positioned substantiafly centrally of the fixture and extending axially thereof, a fan assembly including a stud for supporting said fan assemb1y, and means for securing said stud in said elongated opening whereby to position said stud substantially transverse of said water passage.

Adevice of the character described for internal combustion engines and comprising a coinbined water outlet and fan bracket fixture, said fixture including branched water passages and an opening intermediate said passage, a fan assembly including a stud for supporting said fan assembly, and means for securing said stud in said opening.
10. A device of the character described for internal combustion engines and comprising a combined water outlet and fan bracket fixture, said fixture including branched water passages, a 'fan assembly, and means securing' said fan assembly to said fixtureintermediate said branched water passages.
11. A device of the character described for internal combustion engineg. and comprising a combined water outlet and 1an bracket fixture, said fixture including branched water passages, a fan assembiy including a stud for supporting said fan assembly, and means for securing said stud'to said fixture intermediate said branched water passages;

14. A combined Water connection and fan bracket fixture for engines including a water passage extending substantiafly upwardly from the V angine, means carried by said fixture for supporting a fan shaft, said fixture having a wall portion extending substantially transverse to said water passage and Which is common to both said water passage and said fan supporting means.
