The bosses 16, which are pressed into the top of the cake, also assist in holding the cake for common turning movement with the ejector 14, and hence, the cup 3. After the cake has been broken from the bulk the dipper is lifted to extract said cakefrom the bulk and said cake thereafter removed from the cup 3 by operating the ejector 14. The purpose of the die 15 is to form a seat or depression in the top of a cake in which a piece of candy or fruit maybe placed.

With the parts thus separated the dipper may be easily and thoroughly cleaned.
What I claim is:
In an ice cream dipper, a tubular handle having a centrally recessed head at one end, said head having annular means for detachably securing a thrust cup thereto, an ejector reciprocatably mounted in said handle and having a disk-like body portion receivable within said ":head and movable through a cup, and means carried by said head to one side of its centrally recessed portion for detachably receiving a cake breaker, said disk-like body portion being formed with an opening coincident with said last mentioned means, whereby a cake breaker may be inserted or removed from said head through said opening in said disk-like portion of the ejector.
