`The present invention relates toimprovements in toys and more particularly to an electricallylighted toy which is provided with a handle de'- vice so that it maybe pushed or pulled about 5 by an operator. f v' An object'of the present invention is toprovide, in a toy of the type referred to, an improved handle device which is connected thereto and which consists of a plurality of sections whereby it may be folded.

.The invention aims generally to provide a toy model of a wheeled vehicle which is provided with a handle device so that it may be pushed or pulled along a surface. The handle comprises two or more parts pivotally connected so that the entire handle may be folded in' order to occupy less or more electric lamps are mounted on the body portion of the toy and connected through suitable electric conductors to a dry cell battery which is also carried by the body portion of the toy. A suitable switch mechanism is also provided for opening or closing the electric light circuit and this switch mechanism is adapted to beconveniently controlled by the operator from a suitable operating device on the handle. A toy comprising'in combination, a body portion, electric light bulbs carried by said body portion at the opposite ends thereof, a battery mounted on said body portion, a bus-bar insulatedly supported on said body portion and eX-' tending from one light bulb terminal to the other, said bus-bar having resilient ends to contact the light bulb terminals, one of said ends being interposed between the battery terminal and a light bulb terminal, a handle device secured to said body portion whereby the toy may be moved about, and means operable from said handle device for opening and closing the electric light circuit.

A toy comprising, in combination, a body portion, a light bulb carried by said body portion, a battery supported by said body portion, means for providing an electric circuit connection between said light bulb and said battery, a spring member mounted on said body portion, a switch lever pivotally mounted on said spring member, a handle device connected to said Vbody portion YVwhereby the toy may be moved about, and'means on said handle device for operating said switchlever whereby to open or close the electric light circuit.
7. A toy comprising, in combination, albody portion, a light bulb supported by said body por tion, a battery carried by said body portion, means for providing an electrical connection between the vlight bulb terminal and the battery terminal, a
handle device whereby the toy mayY be moved about, said handle deviceincluding a U-shaped wire member having the leg portions thereof connected to said body portion, an upper handle member pivotally connected to the closed end of said wire member and securing means on said upper handle member for engaging the leg portions of said wire member whereby to retain the handle member in extended position, said securing means being releasable to permit the handle device to be folded, and switch means operable from said upper handle member for opening and closing the electric light circuit.

A toy comprising, in combination, a body portion carrying a light bulb, a battery supported by said-body portion, means for providing an electric circuit connection between said light bulb and said battery, a handle device connected .to said body portion whereby the toy may be moved about, said handle device consisting of a plurality of foldable parts, and means operable from said handle device for opening and closing the electric circuit, saidl meansincluding-a plurality of interconnected elements foldable with said handle il device.

A toy comprising, in combination, a body portion carrying a light bulb, a battery supported by said body portion, means for providing an electric circuit connection between said light bulb and said battery, a switch lever on said body portion for opening and closing the electric circuit, a handle device connected to said body portion whereby the toy may be moved about, said handle portion carrying a light bulb, a battery supported by said body portion-means for providing an electric circuit connection between said battery and saidY light bulb, a handle device including a U-shaped member having the leg portions thereof connected to said body portion and a handle member pivotally connected to the closed end of said U-shaped member, a switch lever pivotally mounted on said body portion and adapted to open and close the electric circuit, and means operable from said handle member for operating said switch lever, said last-named means including a lower wire member loosely connected to said switchlever and an upper Wire member in-` terconnected 'at one end with said lower wire member and connected at the opposite end to a finger lever on said handle member, the interconnected ends .of said wire members being adapted to pass between the leg portions of said U-shaped member whereby to permit the handle device to be folded.

A toy comprising, in combination a body portion, a light bulb supported by said body portion, a battery carried by said body portion, means for providing an electrical connection between said light bulb and said battery, a handle device whereby the toy may be moved about, said handle device including a U-shaped wire member:.ahavingV the .-eg-f-poi'tionslf-thereofffzcong;
