A film receptacle comprising a strip of material bent to substantially rectangular box-like form with one end of said material being spaced from the opposite end and bent inwardly to form a slot, a film guide in said receptacle and extending through said slot, soft anti-friction means closing said slot to light and permitting passage of film therethrough, and closure means for the ends of said receptacle, said closure means comprising end members embracing the ends of said receptacle and having light locking connection therewith including beads cooperating with the ends of said receptacle and with the inwardly turned end of said material.
