The bracket. member 10 is also formed with'an inclined portion 12 near its upper end, linallyterminating in a vertical portion 13 and ahorizontal portion 14;, said portions-13 and lt'being within the capping portion 6 of the molding A.
Secured to the inclined portion 12 by I means of nuts and bolts 15, I provide a supplemental bracket member 16. Said supplemental bracket includes a verticalportion 17 disposed parallel to the portion 13 of bracket member 10 and spaced therefrom, as at 18.

The bracket member 10 is secured to the upright 2 by means of aZ-bracket 21 interposed therebeteween. A bolt 22 is passed through one leg of the depending portion :11 and the Z-bracket for this purpose, and is secured to the upright 2.
Similarly, the depending portion 20 of the supplemental bracket 16 is secured to a Z- bracket 23 by means of a bolt 24 having a Washer 25 thereon. The lower leg of the Z- bracket 23 is bolted to the upright 2 by a bolt 26. It will be noted that the portion 2071s spaced from the Z-bracket, as at 27.

The depending flange a of the rear member 28 is positioned in the space 27 between the portion 20 of the bracket 16 and the upper portion of the Z-bracket 23. The horizontal flange b of said rear member 28 extends rear- 'wardly in such a manner that its upper surface is in the same plane as the upper surfaces of the said portion 19 and the flange 7) capping. portion may be secured to the member 19 by means of bolts or screws 29 passed therethrough.
The construction just described provides a firm and adequate support for the molding A throughout its length. In practice, it is often desirable to swing scaffolding from the bulletin structure, and with the form of reinforoing embodying my invention, hooks for said scaffold may be readily placed over the molding A without injury thereto.
Due to the great length of the bulletin structure, it is impracticable to employ the members 28 in one piece. Hence. additional members28a may be employed and may overlap the members 28 at their points of V juncture.
For the purpose of securing the members .28 and 28a together without the use of registering openings or bolts, I have provided an adjustable clip member 30. Said clip is generally U-shaped and has spaced apart legs 31 and 32. The leg 31 constitutes a backing forthe flanges a and a of the members 28' and 28a respectively, and terminates in a hook-flange33 at its upper end. The hookfla-nge is flat so as not to damage the molding A which contacts therewith, and is of sufflcient length to act as a retainer for said members 28 and 28a.
The leg 32 is formed with an opening 34 therethrough for receiving a bolt 35 having a nut 36 threaded thereon. The distance from the center line of the bolt to the under side of the flange b of the member 28 is such that the nut 36 is prevented from rotation when the bolt 35 is turned by means of its head.
The clip may be placed over the members 28 ing member therebetwcen, and a and 28a and the bolt 35 tightened, thereby securely fastening the said members together. Thus, the reinforcing members may be joined at any point longitudinally of the molding A between the mountings 9. In the 76 event that it should be necessary to join said members at the mountings 9, the space 18 is sufliciently wide to receive the flanges a and a. Also, by reason of the adjustability of the bolt connection of the members 20 and 23, the space 27 may be widened'asdesired.
While I have shown and described my invention as a plied to outdoor advertising structures and bulletins, it is not to be limited thereto, as it is applicable for the mounting of'hollow metal moldings or the like upon other structures. I claim-: I 7 g 1. In an outdoor advertising structure, the; combination with a support framing, of ahol-" low metal molding, a mounting therefor supv ported from the framing including a main bracket member, a supplemental bracket member secured to. the main bracket member and slightly spaced therefrom, and a longle0 'tudinally extending reinforcing member for the molding disposed within the molding and having a part inserted between said brackets.

In an outdoor advertising structure, the combination with a supported framing, of a hollow metal molding, a longitudinally extending reinforcing member Within the molding, a mounting for the molding supported from the framing and including a main bracket and a supplemental bracket, the latter being attached to the main bracket and having a portion spaced from a portion of the main bracket to receive a part of the reinforcing member therebetween.

In an outdoor advertising structure, the combination with a supported framing, of a hollow metal molding, spaced-apart longitudinally extending reinforcing members within the molding, mountings for the molding supported from the framing and includ ing a main bracket and a supplemental bracket, the latter being attached to the main bracket and having a portion spaced from a portion of the main bracket to receive a part of a reinforcing member therebetweeen, and a third bracket member associated with the supplemental bracket having a portion spaced from the supplemental bracket to receive a part of a second reinforcing member therebetween.
10. In an outdoor advertising structure, the combination with a support framing, of a hollow metal molding and mountings therefor secured to the'framing, and a longitudinally extending reinforcing angle member positioned within the molding and carried by the mountings.
