This invention appertains to new and usef ful improvements in ornaments, and more particularly to an ornament especially `devised for use at Christmas time. n

. 5 rlhe principal object of this invention is to provide an ornament wherein the usual Christmas tree balls can be used in artistic arrangement by novel means for connecting the same to the base structure. A

Referring to the drawing wherein like numerals designate like parts, it can be seen 25 that the general conguration of this design can be varied, for instance, it can be circular,

square, oblong or star-like as represented in the accompanying drawing. In construct-v ing this ornament in a star shape, itis preferable that each point of the star be constructed of a pair of sections, each of which is denoted by numeral. However, va circle or square frame could also be constructed in sections or may be constructed in a single integral piece. However, the main feature of the invention is the manner in which the Christmas portion 7 of a Christmas ball 8. Although reference is made to these balls as being of the Christmas tree type, it is to be understood that they may be of some other special construc- CTI tion unlike a Christmas tree ball, but having the general characteristics, such as the attractive bulk and the aforementioned shank 7.
