This invention relates to an improved appart of the cigarette machine, and'a series of carded rollers, combsand brush rollers or their equivalents, so ,arranged-thatthe tobacco is subjected, preferably, to a double combing or regulatingtofsecure an uniform density, and is discharged without the employment of conveyor bands or the like; If desired, the'apparatus'may be arranged to 4 subject the tobacco to more than twocomb ings'before discharge;
