Thisinvention relates to a sterilizer for towels and the like, the general object of. the invention being to provide a tank containing sterilizing liquid and a drum 'rotatably arranged in the tank and extending down into the liquid with cables for causing the artlcles to be sterilizedto move around with the drum so thatthey will be immersed in the liquid and then carried upwardly "with the drum under a spring-pressed rollerywhichremoves superfluous liquids from the 1 articles and finally the articles are discharged adjacent the points at which theyar'e introduced into the apparatus.
