The present invention' relates to a new and useful lmprovement in fuses, and more particularly 1t pertains to fuses for cutting out electric circuits when an overload has been 5 im sed thereon.
t is one of the Aprimary objects of the invention to provide an electric fuse which is simple in construction, economical of manufacture, and highly efficient in its operation.
It is a :further object of the invention to provide a fuse in which none of the parts or elements are consumed duringan operation of the fuse to break an electric circuit.
With the, above and other objects in view, reference will be had to-the accompanying drwing, wherein;

Referring more particularly to the drawing, the fuse com rises a main body portion 5 which is formedp of porcelain or other suitable similar non-conducting material.

After the fuse has operated in the manne heretofore described to break the circuit, it
