This invention also consists in certain other features of construction and. in the combination and arrangement of the several parts, to be hereinafter'fully described, il-
lustrated in the accompanyingdrawings and specifically pointed out in the appended claim.
In describing my invention in detail, reference will be had to the accompanying drawings wherein like characters denote like or corresponding parts throughout the several views, and in wh1ch:

In these views, the numeral 1 indicates an upright cylindrical casing which is formed with a bracket 2 adapted to be fassection on line. 5-5 of Fig- .tened to a front part of the vehicle at the top thereof, with the casing extending through a hole in the top of the vehicle, as shown in Figure 2. A hollow, spindle 3 passes through the casing and has a cap 4 on its upper part which fits over the upper end of the casing and a lamp casing 5 is connected with said cap,the casing 5 being horizontally arranged with a lens 6 in one 29 in the member 28 tending to force the end thereof and said casing has a vertically arranged neck 7 which is suitably fastened to an upright flange 8 on the cap. The spindle 3 extends above the cap into the lamp casing andhas a socket for a lamp bulb 9. 65 An arrow 10 is fastened to the lens carrying end of the casing in such a manner that the rays of light from the lamp will illuminate the arrow.
A disk 11 is connected with the lower end 80 of the spindle 3 and closes the lower end of the casing 1, said disk having a rotary fit in the casing. A stem 12'is threaded in the disk and a handle 13 is fastened to the lower end of the stem so that by turning the handle, the spindle 8, with the cap and lamp casing and the parts attached thereto, will be turned in relation to the casing 1. A switch casing 14 is attached to the lower end of the casin 1 and a button 15 is car- 70 ried by said casing, the button being nor- 'mally held projected by the coil spring 16 within the casing 1 1. The body of the button is provided with a socket in which is arranged a coil spring 17 which acts to hold the headof a headed'stud 18 against the bottom plate 19 of the button, the stem of thestud passing through a hole in said bottom plate. a a
A ring 20 having a recess 21 therein is fastened to a ring 22 carried by the spindle 3,"the ring 20 being insulated from the ring 22 by the insulation 23. A conductor 24 connects thering 20 with one of the terminals of the lamp socket 'and a conductor 25 is 'a ball 27 arranged in a tubular member 28 connected with the bracket 2, a coil spring 5 ball outwardly. This arrangement acts as a lock for holding the spindle 3 and the parts associated therewith in adjusted position.
