My invention is applicable to the type of bed and cylinder presses disclosed in'my cotinuously in one direction onlyand in which the form and form rollers are separated during the non-inking stroke and are brought into coaction during. the inking stroke. In

In bed and cylinder printing presses of the type disclosedherein where a motor, which is independentof the bed drive, forms a part of the inking mechanism and is used for driving the form rollers in one direction only, it

The object of my invention, therefore, is I to provide means controlled by the bed for bringing the surface speed ofthe form rollers to the surface speed of the form when 1n contact therewith during the inking stroke of the bedso as to ensureaperfect rolling contact between the form rollers, and form, and thus cause the even application. of the ink to the form.
