In the conversion or adaptation of vehicles such as motor driven trucks fonspeoi'el uses, as for the ropulsion of snow plow equip ment and the like; it is usually necessary to provide an extension for the frame by which. connection to the equipment can be made.

In a truck converting rig for snow plows or the like, a clamp comprising a hollow block having a frame contacting surface on one face and a slotted way on its opposite face, a pair of coacting clamping plates adapted to embrace an'ex tension push arm, one of said plates bearing on the slotted block face wa and clamping means including bolts having their heads disposed within the hollow block and held against turning therein for clamping the coacting plates together and to the way.

In a truck converting rig for snow plows or the like, aclamp comprising a hollow block having a frame contacting surface on one face and having a plurality of bolt holes for adjustably clamping to truck frames, and a slotted way on its opposite face, a pair of coacting clamping plates adapted to embrace an extension push arm, one of said plates bearing on the slotted block face way and bolts through the way slot and having their heads disposed within the hollow block and held against turning therein for clamping the coacting plates together and to the way. p a

Means for adjustably connecting the channelled frame of a propulsion vehicle to a snow plow nose, comprising a pair of channelled push beams interposed between said frame and nose, said beams being loosely connected to said nose at their forward ends, and means adjustably clamped to said vehicle frame exteriorly thereof at points in rear of their connection with said nose, said clamping means permitting both limited tilting movement of said beams relative to said frame whereby to accommodate the beams to varying positions of the snow plow noseand limitedvertical adjustment. of said beams relative to said frame to accommodate'the H beams being loosely connected tosaidnose' at their forward ends, and means adjustably clamping said beams to said vehicle frame atpoints in rear of said connection with sa d nose, Sit-1C1 clamping means including a part disposed towards the outer facejof the i vehicle frameand a part disposed towards the inner face of a push beam and adjusts able verticallywith reference to said" first named part.

Means for adjustably connecting the frame of a propulsion vehicle to a snow plow nose, comprising a pair of push beams inter-l posedbetween said beam and nose and loosely connected at their forwardends to said nose, and clamping means adjustably clamping said push beams to said frame, said clamping meanscomprisinga pair of frame clamp members adapted to be applied to opposite faces of the frame and adjustable thereon to accommodate themselves to frames of difierent depths and thickness, and a pair of beam clamp members adapted to be applied to opposite faces of a beam, one of said ative vertical adjustment of the beam clamp members relative to the frame clamp members so that the beams may be adjusted to different angular positions relative to the frame. 14:.
