When cleaning the interior of the Water heater, and especially the coil, the valves 11 ter-xediment, ,inorustations or other matteiadhering to the coils, and also the walls of the chamber 9. After a quantity of steam has `gbeen'admittedtoethechamber 9, the valve 34 ,may .be opened, thus allowing the steam to pass with any loosened matter to the sewer.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim'is 1.
