Referring to the drawings in detail where- I in like characters of reference denote corresponding parts, the reference character 10 indicates the body of the device which is in the form of a plate and which has extending from one edge a plurality of rods 11 and 12. These rods are connected at their outer ends by means of a barl3, while the inner ends of the rods are received in slots that enter from the outer end of the plate 10 and are clamped in said slotsby offset portions 14: struck from the plate 10 so that a rigid frame is provided.
Rotatably mounted upon the rods 11 and 12 are beater elements 14 of the type usually found in devices of this character. These beater elements are so arranged that when 1 rotated the offset portions 14 of one beater element will pass between the offset portions 14 of the adjacent beater element.
