IMPROVEMENT lN HEATING-STOVE-S.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. l 84,513, dated November 21, 1876; application filed September 22, 1876.
To all whom it may concern: s
Be it known that we, IGNATIUSDROEGE and CHARLES BoGENsoHUTZ, of Covington, Kenton county, Kentucky, have invented a new and Improved Stove, of which the fol- -by the flue-strips a', which stop a short distance from the front of the stove, making a passage from the flue a in the center to the ues b at 4the sides, through which the products ot' combustion pass to the chamber c at the rear oi' the stove, which surrounds the rear and upper end of the ue a. The sides of the tire-box are thrown against the outside shell at a point about one-third of the distance from the top of the stove to the bottom, thus limiting the width of the flues to the height of the sides of the fire-box. The hearth and ash-box are made in one casting, E, which is provided with hooksd that tit into sockets e, formed on the front plate of the stove. V
Having thus described our invention, we claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The combination, in heater A B C, of the diving and bottom tine a, extending nearly to the front end of stove, the inclosing side and return iiues b b, the rear rising and inclosng line c, the re opening D, and the dampered opening b', as shown and described.
