A golf cup device comprising a housing, a base member secured to the lower end thereof, a grooved ring member supported by said housing, a cup removably engaged in said housing, a flange formed on the upper end of said cup and resting on said ring member to hold the cup supported in position, and a lining collar of non-metallic nonresilient material supported in said grooved rin member and projecting above the upper end of said housing.y
