My invention relates to bobbins particu- -larly adaptable for supporting silk or other thread orlyarn which is to be steamed ordried. g 5 One important object of the invention is to construct the bobbin entirely of sheet metal parts secured and interlocked'to'gether to produce a strong and durable structure- Another important object is to prov de 1m-- 6 proved arrangement of openings and circulaa 'tory passages for permitting intimate and voluminous contact of steam, air-or heat with the bobbin contents so that the treatment can be rapidly and efficiently accomplished.
